Does Tine think boyfriends just sleep side by side, a platonic relationship for the rest of their lives?? Guys…
@Biridjonka - You're right. It is all but realistic.
The characters Sarawat and Tine especially are these archetypes you often see in BL-dramas. I always guess it has something to do with these kind of series aimed at a younger audience, perhaps a conservative country and with that a more conservative television company (In this case GMMTV), and actors (and especially management) who would like to, eventually, grow out of this BL stage in their careers. The result is an unrealistic but cute lovey dovey story. And those stories often collide with international fans because especially they know that this is absolutely not the reality. Laughable for sure.
Both of them can do better than what the script is giving them. I'm losing my interest. Can't seem to stop thinking about that first trailer that they gave us. That looked so much better. Episode isn't bad, but it is not like we haven't seen it before. Meh.
Serious question: Is it even a good idea to be in the entertainment industry in Thailand? Is this a good career…
I completely agree with you. Just wondering.. Do you think, in the way BL dramas currently are and with how the actors have ''to be and act'' during the promotions of it, are positively contributing in the acceptance of homosexuality at all?
This might be an interesting subject for a column writer on MDL. Very sensitive though.. But I'm curious on how others think about this.

Not sure. My impression is purely based on what I see online, so I could be wrong. But to me it looks like the careers of successful BL actors after their breakthrough usually consist of some modeling in Asia (mostly in Thailand), being in a lot of commercials, a couple of smaller roles here and there and loooooots of meetings with fans. It all feels very shallow to me.
What happens when they lose their charm? Their beauty isn't forever. A new generation of cute guys, ready to have their breakthrough with a BL series, is already being prepared. Depth is missing.
I'm interested in the amount of roles Singto is having right now. Or Jaylerr releasing his own music. But most of them fade away after some time and with that lots of creativity and talent is lost. But who knows, maybe that's what they want. Fame at a young age and then getting a normal life as an engineer when you've lost your popularity.
Regarding Bright: music, sports, photography, acting. He is worth more than just some car- or makeup commercial.
I feel like making this a spoiler 'cause I might be stepping on some fans' toes with this message.
Curious to see if Bright is going to surpass being a walking commercial advertisement billboard. Usually not too fond of how the careers of Thai BL actors develop.
That didn't even cross my mind. I just thought he walked away cause he was annoyed. I'll have to watch that scene…
That's what I first thought as well! But you see 'Wat looking at Tine and his friends when they're loud, then one of his friends asks ''How will you snatch your spot from those girls?'' - and then 'Wat decides to walk away with all of those girls following. Could be coincidence of course, but it does kind of fit.
Rewatching this is fun. After rewatching ep 2 I really noticed Sarawat's reaction when Tine asked him to be his ''fake'' boyfriend. Or him luring away the line of girls wanting to enter the music club so Tine could secure his spot. At least, that's how I interpret that.
O, my, gaaaaawwwwwwd. At least expand the damn soundtrack If you're going to make your show this slow and drag on for so many episodes. The over dramatic violin track that sounds like it was taken from some kind of Disney animation is driving me nuts.
I applaud the director for which way he wanted to go, but I'm not so fond of the execution unfortunately. I felt like the tone of this drama should've been more serious than it was. Cut the high school drama influences and all. Though, if it was executed in the way I have in mind it would've probably been aimed at a more mature audience.
The cinematography was already there sometimes. Challenging for the cast, but I think they could've pulled it off. The 3 are pretty skilled from what I can see. Felt constantly conflicted about certain choices that were made. But, all in all, not bad.
Oh shit, this is probably one of the first animes that I watched when I was a young kid. That was quite a ride if I remember correctly. Definitely going to watch this one!
He's kind of an asshole in the first couple of episodes in Kiss me again. But that's probably going to change in the next episode or the episode after that. Well, at least it is something.

Well, that's my assumption.

Rant over.
