Boy, go away with Phana. Your best friend is the cutest on the whole planet. I know it is some wishful thinking, but damn, wayoxming would just be perfect.
It's a bummer to learn that 2 Moons producer who is gay is discrimanatory in choosing the actors to play…
It's kind of hard to believe that the producer (who is gay himself) refuses gay actors because of their sexuality. I think he expressed himself in the wrong way. He probably prefers masculine guys over feminine guys. It's the only reason I can think of why he would pick ''straight guys''. That's quite a difference. And from what I can see NewYear is everything but masculine. Who cares if that's what the producer is looking for. Even though there are plenty of masculine guys within the gay community (Luckily he welcomed LGBT for the casting otherwise this would've been a weird situation yes), it's easier to find straight masculine guys. No big deal imo.
I've got the impression that a huge fan group is boycotting the series because their favourite NewYear isn't being picked for the role.
I, for one, am happy that he's picking masculine guys for gay roles. It kinda goes against the image most people have of gay people; that they are all feminine. The world needs more of that.
(Now, if there is more about this subject that's not being discussed in that article and that I am unaware of, you can always correct me.)
Oh, my fellow MDL addicted drama/movie watchers, even though we are all so far away from each other on this planet.. Deep in all our hearts, we're screaming with joy, together! <3
Correct English? Don't fucking know, but you got my point.
The only thing that bothers me with these kind of movies is that it is always predictable who's going to die and who is not. Even the order of deaths is somewhat predictable.
GOOD NEWS my fellow tootsies! SEASON 2 is almost there! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkzBgMC03Js
There is one thing however, that I am worried about. We don't see Jay a lot in the trailer. I hope his role didn't become even smaller than it already was in the first season.
It was possible to pre-order a limited edition DVD on the 1st of december 2016, for both national and international viewers. The only thing you can do now is wish that one of the buyers will upload it online. That might take some more time, but there is a slight possibility that you could see this movie somewhere in 2017. Don't get your hopes up too much though, it's only a small chance.
I've got to say, for a thai drama, I find the acting quite impressive. It's not as cheesy as I expected it to be. The drama in general is quite 'realistic' as well. Nothing out of the ordinary happens. But then again, I'm quite disappointed that there only two episodes left even though my heart craves for more drama and development with these guys. Though I liked everything regarding the hazing, I would've preferred a little bit more of 'them' instead.
I don't know if it's the subs or not, but this drama really made me laugh so much. I personally find it hilarious! ''African!!!'' ''Her ass has handled a hurricane of activity over the years!!'' LMAO I REALLY NEED THAT SECOND SEASON.
I haven't watched the Chinese version, nor do I know any of the history. But right now, it feels like she's the reason for the brothers to start distrusting each other, and perhaps killing each other later on. Or causing so much distrust that the 3rd prince and evil queen use that to their advantage. Well, whatever it is, I do not like how this story is unfolding right now. :/
About the acting, I have absolutely no problems with it. With no one's actually. And I am liking the strong spirited character of Go Ha Jin/Hae Soo, just wish she would use her brains a little bit more for a modern day girl. But that would probably ruin the story.
Lee Jong Suk is a great actor. And he had a few moments in this drama when that definitely showed. Maybe it's because how the story is going right now, but I feel the character Kang Chul is becoming a little bit boring. Eh, that's just how I feel though. Another thing that I have is that I absolutely wouldn't care if these two would end up together or not. In other words, for them, a happy or a bad ending. Not feeling the chemistry I guess. I'm liking the drama in general though. It's been a while a K-drama was able to surprise me. Kim Eui Seong's acting is perfect by the way.
Rewriting and rewriting and rewriting this post over and over again. I don't know where to start with this. Ok, let me start with that I'm used to open endings and more seasons with series, so it's not like I mind that this one has it as well. But for god sake, how open do you want to have it? It's (almost - for 99%) pretty damn sure that Tae Woo and Yoo Jin are dead. The scene with San sitting on the floor alone makes that kind of clear. It bothers me that we don't see his emotional state after it. It bothers me even more that the (most important) main character actually disappears in the ending of the season finale. I watched 12 episodes of San's story. And his story 'ended' fucking without him. It really ruined it for me.
While the USB on the ground may have been picked up by this unknown stranger. It isn't completely sure that Yo Na died as well. Did she stay with him, in his arms, ready for the sun? Or did she actually leave him in the end? We should've seen her burn just like how it was showed in the beginning of the season. Since that didn't happen, either she left the guy, or the writers gave her a boring bad ending that this character absolutely DID NOT deserve.
Another thing that bothers me is 'Evil Blood' that probably relates to that unknown person. And that helpers list and all of that. Instead of giving out freaking flyers, why don't you follow that trail to find San, my dear Goo Hyung.
Gyeo Wool leaving for such a long time. Why? You wanted to have information about your brother right? What about San?
I just, cannot comprehend this episode at all. There better be a second season VERY soon. 'Cause this just sucked hard.
About that second season. I expect that this story might get mixed more with Vampire Prosecutor in a second season. I actually hope that we see more of San figuring out more about his vampire side as well. That has also been very bland in this first season.
