The main leads are pricks. Yes, both of them. Please end up together. The supporting leads, again both of them, deserve much better.
And after all these years and all these dramas I still can't figure out why the rich and arrogant looking one wins the game. Both in BL and non BL dramas. Probably going to happen in this one as well. What the actual f is attractive about these kind of characters.
I've only watched the first two minutes of ep 1 and I already had a couple of tears. Lol, crazy me. A part of me wants to continue, another part does not.
The teaser did not show any info about the possible storyline. I expect new love interests and lots of the usual troubles a gay couple faces. Did social media show any pictures of new characters played by actors that clearly have a huge part in the second season?
Honestly, so far this series is great. The acting, the story, everything is MUCH better in this one. I gotta give credit to the girl that plays Yihwa, she nailed her character and it is quite the same in both series.
The only thing that bothers me a 'bit is that it doesn't feel as a prequel at all. I've been skipping through Bad Romance tonight and it just feels like a completely different story, lol. I don't think the writers of this series gave a lot of attention to the Bad Romance storyline. Really annoying is how different Korn and Knock are in both stories. What made Korn hide his sexuality in Bad Romance and how did Knock turn into a completely out of the closet playboy?
Well, it does happen that when someone discovers and accepts his sexuality he/she will enjoy the new free experience. Sometimes people go rogue. But what I've seen of Knock in Together with me that would feel completely out of character. Korn in Together with me is someone that doesn't care if he loves a guy or a girl and even stands up to his sister and find it strange that Knock doesn't do the same. However, in Bad Romance it is completely the other way around because of his parents.
If the writers want to make a connection between both series they should really start to implement some stuff that creates the beginning of Bad Romance otherwise it feels very weird.
Actually, I find Sun a bigger prick than In. What In did to Sun is debatable. I too do not find it very smart to use someone to help you getting the attention of a girl even though he clearly showed his feelings to you. However, In's actions are understandable. After Copper and his group he met his new first friend. This guy (Sun) actually became his best friend. Anyone in his position would not want to lose a friendship like that. And it isn't that weird you want your best friend to help you getting the attention of a girl especially when your best friend is a good friend of that girl.
Ainam confessed her feelings to Sun however got rejected. But even though she is heartbroken, she still keeps in touch with Sun. In confessed to Ainam and got rejected but still keeps in touch with her. Why? Because they both know that the person is too important to let go. Yes, it hurts that it is a one sided love. But just because of that you would let go of someone that is that important? I find Sun's actions very selfish and just as bad as what In did. No, it is maybe even worse. If you truly care about someone you wouldn't let him or her go even if it was a one sided love. You would deal with your pain and try to move on.
What do we have now? In's feelings are unsure. Is it love in a romantic way? Or is it a bromance? A second season would be great just to see how they develop. But they leave us guessing. I do not think that episode 9 is enough to consider this as a happy ending. Honestly, from what I have seen in these episodes I don't think In's feelings are in a romantic way. This might be the unpopular opinion but that's how I consider it. I just see a guy under pressure to not lose his best friend and just goes with it and see how it all works out. Any romantic hints during the episodes were always from Sun's side and that connects with the fact that this whole BL thing was considered as a bait in these series.
When that day comes when they need to decide what kind of relationship they have, someone will probably be left heartbroken again. Or they give us a second season that has a deeper storyline and actually show us In discovering his sexuality. They should've added that to these episodes. Now the ending feels forced and shitty. It is just to please the viewers.
Let's be real here.. From what I can see right now that doctor is the worst type of person you can possibly…
I haven't seen the latest episode with subtitles yet, but characters like Korn know that a person like that doctor is good for a one night stand. It is what you said, characters like Farm are always the ones that get insanely hurt because of a flirt like him. The thing that I'm worried about most is how those stories usually end. Well, not only characters. It is the case in real life as well. But yes, hopefully it will be a turning point for him.
Oh In, don't friendzone ya boy. You have one episode left to make things right. Believe me, you'll regret it eventually. 'Cause that's how it usually goes. You friendzone him, Sun will accept it and try to move on, meets and bonds with a different guy, in this case probably his senior, you'll see them together and become jealous, at one point both of you get drunk and give each other a kiss, Sun gets in a difficult situation, he needs to choose between you and the senior, but eventually he will pick you and leave the senior in tears. (Ladies and gentleman, an obvious season 2 storyline that is never going to happen). But In, you can prevent all of this! You can prevent so much pain and tears for yourself, the characters and most importantly, US. GO FOR IT!
Wait, on this page it is stated that there are only 7 episodes. But I see a preview of episode 8 and in the youtube comments there have been people saying there are 9 episodes. So, what's the deal?
Puen / Singha : a very strong friendship, like brothers. Puen / Than : a very strong friendship slowly evolving in a (for now unknown) (one sided) love. Telling that girl he is fine with both boys and girls (as long as it feels good with the person) is just one hint in the series. The fact that she walked away crying at the final episode is the second hint for that. Puen might not realize it himself yet, or he does, but he feels more than just comfortable with Than. The girl noticed that as well; he feels more comfortable with him than her even though they know each other longer. Than however with his 'Huh?' doesn't seem to get it at all.
I liked the series and the ending. It is good as it is. But of course, as a BL fangirl that I am, I would have just as much loved to see how this story would have progressed. Guess I'll have to use my imagination for that.
I'm going for the memory loss and manipulation. Woo Jin is either dead, or lost (some) of his memories and is being manipulated. There's no other option if he's still alive story wise. Yeah, held captive but that would be boring. I guess he is the chairman and one of the fathers is manipulating him from behind the scenes. Lets be real here: if Dong Gun became a minister, then what positions do the fathers have? We can pretty much say that Hang Yon Woo is an antagonist in this story.
Big question for me is: is the father of the brothers still alive? And yes, is he an antagonist as well or not? How the story is currently going you would think they are both evil, but I can't imagine their own father would do that. Interestingly enough, the last they saw of ''Byul'' was that she went away with their father in a car. She was also in a car accident (and because of that she lost her memories which was a lie), but what if the car accident was not a lie and the father of the twins actually died because of that? And that the father of Byul is possibly manipulating Woo Jin from behind the scenes?
BTW, I don't trust Dong Gun yet. The story is currently giving the watchers the impression that an ass of a professor suddenly (or always was) a good guy. But imo, I've got a feeling that this guy would do anything as long it makes himself better.
Now this is just simply guessing. Correct me if I'm already saying impossible/wrong things right now though.
So, based on the pictures we see, how exactly are Forth and Beam going to work out? The other 2 couples are becoming quite obvious now, but the third.. ?
The professor would be the obvious choice for being the chairman. But imo, it would probably make the story more interesting if Woo Jin turns out to be him. And what about the other characters? Are there others that we already see in the future without knowing?
I just finished watching the first episode. So far, the soundtrack (the guitar track) and the slight comedy is turning me off. :') I hope that changes.
