Watched them all, I have high standards for my actors so I usually gravitate to Veteran Actor Cast, The Older…
Wow that's great! Yes, I do feel that some of the veterans do bring depth to the show with their mature acting and this is something that popular idol dramas lack but that is a different debate altogether as they are totally different genres. Though I get what you are saying, when these young actors do an indie drama/melodrama that's when we see their immaturity or overacting as opposed to veterans who act effortlessly. Which among these shows if any, would you recommend as the best show to watch?
Light in your eyes , one of the most underrated show.
Is it really? The genre itself is not something that many people like to watch but considering the niche viewer segment, I find many people who watch such shows have already seen this show.
Their official Youtube playlist is... super confusing.... why are some episodes in ascending order and other episodes…
The one hour long ones are a compilation of all episodes of the shorts and are a total of three. The ten minute ones are single episodes and a total of 18. You can watch either.
A different director could have made a really scary horror show out of this. But then romance would be really…
TBH I don't see how this falls into the horror genre. Maybe the first one felt a bit occult based but besides that most cases can be categorised as just plain mysteries. Having said that, it's still enjoyable to watch and yes, I think the black tea case will mostly be addressed in the final arc.
The character development for all the cast is absolutely gratifying to see here. Even the supporting characters show growth, well except for Su Wu Ming. He seems to be perfect as is....
He starts showing some smarts and potential after learning from Su Wu Ming. But it's implied that he got the job…
Thanks, you are correct! As I watch further I get to understand more about the backstory of the characters and the reason for their actions or lack of. I would say he portrays the naivety and arrogance of an entitled aristocrat in the initial episodes really well.
How the hell did Lu Ling Feng manage to reach the post of a general without any common sense or diplomacy?! It looks like he can only serve as a muscle for Su Wu Ming.
