Her actions just come across as childish and petty and immature which is not who Lanxiang has been portrayed to be initially. Her behaving like a petulant child is a disgrace to the Xu family more than her husband. I can understand the cold shoulder to her husband but to the family elders in public? You think they wanted you in the first place? Her parents even advised her to be respectful and she went there doing otherwise. That is unwise and unrealistic of Lanxiang’s character imo.

I hope they include a scene where LJQ goes to see the parents and apologizes profusely with a lot of bowing and kneeling. He needs to make them understand he doesn’t look down on them or Lanxiang in any way. He just did what he had to do for love.
