I have not read the manga but i can hazard a guess based on my knowledge of romance dramas 🙂 I believe Si Yeol is getting closer to Na ejun because he thinks Na Ejun is the boyfriend of the band manager who broke up with Si Yeol’s best friend, Ju Ha. So he is pretending to love Na ejun because his best friend and team member is heart broken.
