Oh just stumbled across Top Form while looking for a new BL and thought it looked familiar.... Yeah, a RL movie adaptation of Dakaichi? Well here we go, after all it was one of the first BL anime I saw. I'm looking forward to the realization....
It's light-hearted and fun to watch. Honestly, sometimes I laugh my butt off. I like the whole ensemble. Ki-Se is the big question mark that adds a bit of tension. I also really like Hui Jin, I had to look twice to recognize where I know the actress from. The second couple is just cute and our FL and ML are hilarious. Maybe it's because it's my first time seeing KTO in such a funny role, but I'm really laughing tears. Somehow the show seems like a parody of KDramas.... And then the love for the potato.... I thought only my country loved potatoes that much. Hilarious. You don't have to think much, just watch it and have fun.
It's so weird. Their ig account mentioned that they're going to change the cast? What the heck is going on? If…
I don't understand it either. There are so many complaints and questions in the comments and they are not addressed at all. If the account isn't hacked, why isn't Patilu informed? Especially after he went public with it? Why is Benjamin informing us that Dong Qin's account was hacked and we shouldn't fall for any scam from his account? Why are they selling the casting decision of the leads? Do they want to make sure we stand behind Dong Qin and Benjamin? Do they want to give the original target audience the power to decide on the leads because they disagreed with Benjamin and Dong Qin and there are bad Douban ratings? I have so many question marks and no tenable answer anywhere. Then the fanmeeting seems to be postponed too? I only read that those who can't reschedule their flights want to meet. But again, I haven't heard anything from Dong Qin, Benjamin and Patilu that it's not happening, but also not that it's happening. I just get it 0. And that with our loyal fan base. But if it was hacked, they would just make it clear right? When you think about how we as an international fanbase made the series great after it was so devalued by the target audience, I don't understand the whole process.
According to the show's official IG page, the first milestone for S2 has been taken. In theory, scripts 1-3 should be released. How serious this is and whether there are actually people who have spent money on it, I can't and don't want to judge. For me, it's all a big question mark... Especially in view of the fact that Patilu knows nothing about it, Benjamin has not commented on it and neither has Dong Qin, whose IG account was hacked.
If you don't like the open ending, then watch until ep.8...I personally found that open ending painful the 1st…
In short, they both recognize their feelings. But Sheng Wang struggles with this, so much so that he lets himself fall through the trials in order to avoid Jiang Tian. The episode consists of a lot of pain, keeping his distance (with which Sheng Wang breaks his promise), trying to see himself as a brother. Jiang Tian conveys very well what you feel as a viewer when he shouts out his pain. After they are in two classes, you see them reflecting briefly and if you look and listen carefully, you realize that both of them finally accept their feelings for each other and decide to go down the path of love independently of each other. So they don't yet know what the other is thinking, they haven't spoken to each other.
But I personally think that if you as a viewer get over the pain, the feeling of having just been left hanging in the air and completely thrown back on your feelings, and look again from a distance and hear the quiet tones, it's actually a beautiful, poetic, optimistic ending.
I know that many may see it differently, that it's too much âbromanceâ for them, that some find it boring as there are no NCs. I personally like the narrative style, the time and poetry you take to develop the story. I also really liked the exchanges here in the comments because we shared joys and sorrows and that actually helped some people accept the last episode and recognize the quiet behind their own loud feelings.
If you can relate to feeling strong emotions in the last episode, if you like the style of the show, then watch to the end. If you want to talk, we can do that here. I could watch the show again anyway and maybe you'd like to share your thoughts. If you say I'd rather not feel frustration, then episode 8 is a good stopping point. The beginning of the episode made me very happy and the ending is wonderful. Episode 9 is more of a filler and episode 10 is wonderful and I would actually advise you to watch the last few minutes of episode 11. Aesthetically and the acting is really, really good.
I'm one of those people who enjoy the slowness and length of the series and I don't think you could tell the whole story in 12 episodes at this level. That's why I'm still very much hoping for S2 with Dong Qin and Benjamin.
I JUS WATCHED 3 EPS N FOUND OUT IT'S OPEN ENDING N HAS NO S2 LIKE WTHđđ
If you don't like the open ending, then watch until ep.8...
I personally found that open ending painful the 1st time I watched it, but I watched it several times and then realized the positive undertones and then liked the ending. But maybe that's because I'm generally optimistic and it's always a happy ending in my imagination đ đ¤
From Patilus IG Status: "Hello Dear Mou Fans, don't know anything about official's announcement on IG, X or any SNS. I don't work for them. Still a lot people come ask me to confirm "season 2 being canceled?" I didn't say anything like this, but also I have no clues at all about S2, or what the "offical's" plan is, and I'm not part of it. Let's hoping for the best but expexting the wo[rst] an I will always be here."
So there seems to be no confirmation that S2 has been canceled....
Garosero in Today's Live - Kim Soohyun is linked to "Xi Jinping" đ¸
To be honest, that sounds ridiculous...
This kind of behavior unfortunately undermines the credibility of the parents and shows that this Garo Sero doesn't care about the cause and just wants the attention.
My impression is that the parents can only lose at the moment. I hope they have the strength to fight on for their daughter. It would just be nice if Sae Ron's reputation could be restored.
In my eyes, only one person besides Sae Ron has gained prestige and that is Won Bin. I have the impression that he retired from the entertainment industry for a reason. The images of him looking at little Sae Ron with fatherly pride warms my heart. They express the loving look we should have on Sae Ron....
I'm just heart broken after hearing the news and I'm here to hear your thoughts .... I still don't wanna believe…
The official site is not hacked. They are selling the decision to cast lead actors.... Patilu is definitely sharing content âsaying goodbyeâ to the series and since he has no contact with this company, he will surely not continue... I'm kind of hoping that at some point there will be an opportunity to do an independent crowdfoundig within the fan community so that Patilu, Dong Qin and Benjamin can produce the 2nd season independently or that Gagaoolala will step in. (I wonder how expensive such costs would be?) My fear, however, is that very rich people from the original target group will buy in, swap the main actor and director and shape Season 2 to their liking...
I really didn't expect that. All the stories I get attached to end up not being continued, with problems with…
I didn't expect that either, and I almost think neither Patilu, nor Dong Qin or Benjamin expected that... I still have a faint glimmer of hope that after a very long time, when this crypto company realizes that they are not getting any money, they will lose interest and the rights will be sold to someone who appreciates this series and leaves it to Patilu so that he can implement his ideas... Am I being too optimistic? I somehow can't give up on it...
"How is it that the so-called âfansâ are the ones being the least helpful? I didnât even mention Soo Hyunâs name, and yet people came swarming in instantly⌠Must be driving you crazy too, not being able to fact-check anything, right? Well, Iâve spent years living with that same uncertainty, trying to convince myself by telling myself over and over again, âI guess there was no other choice.â Somehow, that helps me stay sane. I wonât say anything because I donât need to add to it. There will be plenty of others giving him a hard time. And even if I did speak up, it wouldnât become fact anywayâand it wouldnât help any of you, either. So maybe just donât poke the bear and move along. Oh⌠and by the way, arenât you the ones constantly dragging my sister onto the chopping block over similar issues? The way her name keeps getting brought up all over the placeâitâs honestly disgusting."
Is this handled by the same company? Honestly, who pays for the fan meeting after the online disaster if it's the same company? This is all crap, Dong Qin and Benjamin don't deserve this.
Benjamin has posted a message on Eric's behalf: Eric's Instagram account has been hacked and there's nothing he can do. "But he ask me to tell everyone that his heart is with us, unwavering. He also hopes, no one falls for any scams from his account."
Oh, this is how you know this has all been a disaster for KSH and GM.They have been pushed into a corner and NOW…
Not only that, GM writes: "The distribution or public display of images of another person's body that may cause sexual desire or humiliation"
I'd say "sexual desire" only triggers that in his fans. So is he sexually embarrased by his own fans?
Apart from the fact that he is clothed. I understand the accusation that his privacy has been breached and that his image rights have been violated. But this picture has zero sexual connotations...
But let's be clear: Even if KSH still has fans and he wants to sue the parents, many, many people believe SaeRon and are on her side. It's a shame that she didn't have the support when she was alive (because many of us didn't realize that either). But it's still good, because by believing her, we give her a bit of power back. No matter what GM and KSH do with their highly professional teams, they just can't get opinion on their side. (With the exception of the delulu fans). Even though they try with the most brutal means. I would like to emphasize that as a positive. It's also a sign to the Korean women: we see you. Maybe it will give them some courage. No matter how much dirt is thrown at Sae Ron by Korean media, it won't change my view of her. No matter how much money and resources KSH and GM spend, they are mostly disenchanting themselves. They blame the parents, but they and their actions make them stand there themselves as they stand there. They contradict themselves and thus disprove themselves. The actions of Korean media only confirm the impression. We can't get SaeRon back, unfortunately, but we can take away KSH's (and GM's) control over how we see her. And maybe our protest will eventually help and protect another woman or girl.

Yes, I also find it very confusing what's happening at the moment. Especially that Eric is also calling for us not to fall for a scam.
The only thing I think is nice is that we see that Patilu, Benjamin and Eric seem to have a great connection with each other.
I wonder if it would help to make a request to Gagaoolala to take over Season 2 somehow...
