I'm short on time today, I just wanted to throw in that Stay With Me is now getting season 2 as well. Probably as a Chinese-Thai co-production. So always be optimistic 😁 and as you say, Dong Qin's agency owns the copyright. So I think if Dong Qin says that, then we can just be happy.... 😁

I thought the director had said in his live at the beginning of October that filming could start within 5 months. And that the series would be broadcast relatively soon after filming. But I didn't watch the live and can't remember where I read the second piece of information.

I can rather imagine that they will announce it at the official fan meeting...

Not a fan of Force and Book because of Only Friends... But I have to say, they surprised me positively in the first episode. Apart from that, there are really a lot of characters that you have to get to know first and the vibe for me is a mixture of We Are + Love Mechanics + comedy a lá The Trainee. I kind of liked the first episode, even though I'm getting used to GMMTV being repetitive...

Hyeon Ho definitely has feelings for Do Hoe. That's the reason why he became a bully... At least that was pretty obvious in my eyes that he couldn't handle the feelings he had for Do Hoe. And he seemed to be jealous of Ju Yeong because he was getting closer to Do Hoe and they were both quite open about their (outwardly friendly) affection for each other. With that eternal 12 year jump, I can imagine a relationship. What I can imagine even more is that Hyeon Ho is one-sidedly in love with Do Hoe and tries to get him into a relationship with him through manipulation...

I really wonder if they manage to come up with a halfway logical explanation for this in the next episodes. I hope so, but I can't think of one that really makes sense. Hyeon Ho will definitely have had a manipulative effect on Do Hoe. That only explains why he is now suddenly Do Hoe's bestie/lover.
Hyeon Ho's gang/friends have no contact with Do Hoe, but have they also lost contact with Hyeon Ho? When he seems to be involved in real estate?

Note the following to increase the weighting of your rating, especially if the account is new:

- rate any other series you like besides The On1y One
- write reviews
- be active on the IMDB site more often

This seems to be necessary for the weighted average to approach the unweighted average. Also, the rating is not seen as a possible bot.

Ah, thanks for your additions. That's right, one or two things were also mentioned in the forum. But your comment seem to match my observations, such as "Supposedly, the ratings are also adjusted according to the time passed, to reflect how the audience's perception of the work in question changes over time" - I imagine that's the kink I described in the example of Jack and Joker (and which I observed in The On1y One). Then maybe it's not the number of votes cast, but the time elapsed...

Yes, I also find the whole thing a bit opaque and strange and I think that if you are transparent about the criteria, the rating seems more serious to me. If I think positively, perhaps they have "hidden" the formula so that outsiders can't influence the rating of a film project to their opinion...

In other words, we could shift the weighting towards the unweighted average if the newly created accounts rate multiple series, write reviews (probably at least 2) and are more active on the site. So not just casting one vote for The On1y One and then never entering the account again...

I really liked the first 4 episodes. But the last two episodes just left me confused. Maybe it was the time of day when I watched it, but the last episode in particular unfortunately left me unsatisfied and dropped the drama in the ratings for me. And what really bothers me about series is when the camera work is too shaky like in episode 1...

The two leads had really great chemistry and then I read here that it's a prequel to ULS. Shame on me for not recognizing it. Because I remember being totally invested in this couple during the series and really wanted to see more of them. If only they had done the last 2 episodes differently. And I don't mean a happy ending... Maybe I'll just watch ULS again now.
