I don't know, I liked the teacher strand today. I didn't think it was overemphasized, they didn't stand out too much and I thought it blended well into the episode....

It's exciting that you're still hanging around in the comments section in episode 10 of a series that you find sooo boring, just to hate around a bit.... It's also exciting that it's always the same 3 profiles at the same time writing exactly the same thing...
Tastes are different. The 2 episodes of Jack and Joker that have aired so far are really well done. Just like The On1y One. Neither can be compared with the other. Both can also be equally appreciated. If The On1y One is not for you, then find another drama. There are plenty on the market.

You can clearly see that this commentator has only seen the very first episodes. Math hasn't been around for a long time. 🤷‍♀️😉

Xi said Benny was his partner, not his boyfriend. And even though I initially thought they were a couple, since yesterday I think he introduced him as a business partner.

The Time of Fever has already been recommended here in the comment section as being similar to The On1y One. I'll have a look at it after The On1y One. Apart from that, Jack and Joker is very good so far, but there are only 2 episodes out.

I can still hear the words of the director from the live that there will be a sweet happy ending. But I am/was unsure because a lot of people have said that refers to season 2.
With the ending that they get together at the end, they would have a sweet ending if S2 didn't come....

So yes, today I have a huge crush on the innocent and unintentionally pushy Sheng Wang. 🤭

The episode is back on track and I love how equal their bond and relationship is building.

The idea and concept of the series are great, unfortunately the execution is lacking... In my opinion, they didn't necessarily find the most ideal way of realising it after episode 5...

I really liked the actors though, especially seeing a kind-hearted Bible and I still think the Jes/Bible pairing is terrific. I really liked the underwater kiss.

The end was predictable for Tonkla and Korn. Korn gets all my sympathy. He was the loser of the whole story and somehow I just wanted to comfort him.

All in all, a good series that unfortunately didn't live up to my high expectations of it.

You can enjoy the episode and still criticise it. Especially when a series is very good, everyone's expectations rise. I would describe the series as very well "composed" and that's why the part with the 3 teachers, for example, put me off, because it wasn't quite as coherent as usual. I love the show and liked the episode, but it was a little less good for me after the strong last 4 episodes. And since some found the teacher scene confusing/disturbing, it seems to be a valid criticism. I think it's perfectly ok to criticise sometimes. You can still tell that the series is loved.

I also thought that Xi introduced Benny as a (life) partner. After today's episode I think maybe he just introduced him as partner/second owner of the cafe? I'm curious to see whether we'll get clarity tomorrow...

I don't know if it is described in more detail in the novel and perhaps a four-man room is mentioned beforehand. Personally, I just haven't given any thought to whether they have a two-man room or a four-man room. But in the comments I noticed a few who thought they were living in a two-person room. It's exciting to see how everyone's expectations develop. I never had the idea of ​​a comfortable home when it came to JT, at least not as a real place. For me, the cozy home is always SW, which radiates a lot of warmth. The physical place for JT always felt cold to me and rather hostile and barren in my imagination.

For me, the scene with Qi Jiahao and the professor outside and also the scene with the 3 teachers were disconnected. They didn't feel quite coherent to me in the episode. Especially the scene with the "kidnapping". I asked myself: What is this now? Before I made the connection with Qi Jiahao. Since he didn't appear at all in the last episode (or were there several?), it felt a bit out of place. In my opinion, there should have been a little hint in the previous episode and a scenic introduction to the "kidnapping" of the female teacher.
And I think that, as well as focussing on the love triangle for too long, take me off today a bit. I hate to say it, but the female teacher annoyed me a bit today. I also found the music a bit inappropriate at some points.

On the other hand, I thought the rest of the episode was good. The team, the class A, the joy of feeling connected... I also got a little stab in the heart when SW called JT "Ge" and I loved SW's subtle reactions when JT took off his t-shirt. In general, I could just watch them spend time together all day and discover their feelings.

I also found it confusing today. The thought occurred to me that perhaps they are both in love with each other but haven't confessed it yet and therefore think that the other is in love with the female teacher.
And for me, the last scene felt more like fanservice, as it was more of a filler episode... I'm looking forward to tomorrow, I love the two of them too .🫠

Today, with last week's episode together, it felt more like they were both in love with each other, but haven't confessed it to each other yet.
