Is it a glitch or are people just spamming low reviews?
I reported it because it all seemed inconclusive to me, so I got the response about invalid accounts. I got the impression they didn't want to look any further... I'll look for the link, but I don't know if they closed the topic...
Is it a glitch or are people just spamming low reviews?
I thought it was a glitch, as it affected quite a few BLs, all of which dropped by 0.3-0.4 points from July 12th to July 13th, or on July 15th-16th (two BLs). I found around 30 BLs affected. Support said invalid accounts were deleted, and with them, votes. However, I didn't see any drops for straight dramas, and I also find it a bit odd that three of the four highest-rated BLs (excluding The Untamed and Spirealarm) dropped by points, but the fourth BL doesn't seem to have any of these invalid votes. Also, all BLs dropped by the same amount, regardless of whether they aired in 2023 or 2025, or whether they had 6,000 or over 20,000 ratings. JBLs, KBLs and CBLs are also mainly affected. So I'm not sure if deleted accounts are the only explanation...
Have you ever used "Fire on Fire" by Sam Smith? I always imagine that song on CC and WSW...
Yes, very nice! I also think the chorus is very fitting. I'm looking forward to your next videos and to see which scenes you'll use with which songs! I always enjoy it when you post a new link π
Can you please stop spreading rumors about the actor in the show's comments section? Aside from the fact that you don't know what's true and what isn't, if you want to gossip, please do it on his profile and be careful about prejudging people. Because you don't know why things turned out the way they did, and honestly, it's none of your business.
Once again, the private lives of actors are being rummaged through, and the rumor mill is churning. Honestly, I'm tired. No one was part of the relationship, no one knows what's true. What is certain is that the two had a relationship, and it clearly didn't end on good terms. Both are suffering from it in one way or another. Both have hurt themselves through their actions; both are still very young and seem immature, and that's okay, because they're both very young. People make mistakes and hopefully learn from them. Especially when you're that young and in your first relationships, you do things that you're not necessarily proud of when you're older. You only learn to be in a relationship. Why is everyone so hard on one person and the other? It's obvious that both of them need to process the end of their relationship. They should be given space to sort it out for themselves and you should not jump on every rumor or create weird memes... Now it's not just their emotions that are boiling over; the entire internet is lashing out at either her or him...
I thought after the TXN incident, people would have learned not to jump on every rumor and to respect the actors' privacy. It's really exhausting. I hope they can both find closure, heal, and move on soon. And I hope for the ex-girlfriend's sake that she doesn't have to go through this whole thing alone. Remember, sometimes shitty relationship dynamics develop, and no one is without their faults... I would appreciate it if the way people here dealt with the end of their relationship tone down and was a bit more mature in the comments section...
Omg!! I just found out that Tian Xu Ning play one of the characters for the live action BL drama "Heaven Official's…
I also think TXN would make a good (but not perfect) Hua Cheng, but I think his actual role fits him much better... It's just a shame Zi Yu isn't the Wind Master π€ Actually, I have to say, I haven't found the perfect casting for Hua Cheng yet. At first glance, both main actors don't necessarily fit the roles for me. For example, I would definitely see Elliot from ABO Desire in the role of Xie Lian (but funnily enough, he would also fit Hua Cheng, at least in some capacity)...
no not really plus how about we be respectful of other work if were being honest there are other show/s better…
I can't remember the OP anymore, but I wouldn't necessarily classify what you're quoting as disrespect towards other series. I think it's more likely that RL evokes a unique feeling in the OP, which makes him feel something very special. I can understand that feeling. I had that feeling back after "The On1y One." When the series ended, I couldn't watch BLs for a while because I felt a void. No other BL could give me the feeling that "The On1y One" did. Everything I watched immediately afterward felt more superficial. No other BL was nearly as good to me. Besides, I became much more selective after the series and tended to dismiss BLs. And all of that was because "The On1y One" touched me deeply. So I think the OP found his personal favorite, and it simply outshines everything else at that moment. That's why I don't see it as disrespectful towards other series; RL just shines brighter for him. And as an outsider, I'm happy that there are people who seem to be able to experience the same thing I did a year ago, because it's a great feeling.
I've just got to ask:Has anyone seen SKAM? It's a Norwegian teen drama, and the third season is exclusively devoted…
I haven't seen SKAM. But maybe I should, since it seems to have influenced so many BLs... The underwater scene reminded me of "I Told Sunset About You."
I'm just wondering: Does the underwater scene from RL appear in Counterattack? I haven't read the novel, but didn't it come out in 2015 and SKAM season 3 in 2016? Wouldn't that be a possibility that SKAM was influenced by Counterattack?
Reminiscing about The On1y One and the lovely comment section, I just happened to be here and thought: Why don't we throw a watch party for the first anniversary of the show's airing? I miss our time together so much π₯Ήππππ
I need something like this again but with a good endingπ
Have you already watched Miseinen: Mijukuna Oretachi wa Bukiyo ni Shinkochu (Our Youth) and Hishakai Shindo (Depth of Field)? Otherwise, I highly recommend both. They both have a lovely ending, and I think the series are really wonderful!
I would recommend: - The On1y One(really, really good, a slow burn and an ending that leaves you hanging the first…
Haha, yes, we pretty much agree. True, I've forgotten the first few minutes of episode 12 π (I should watch it sometime π)
I always say that episode 8 has a little happy ending and makes you cry with happiness at the beginning and end. But then I think to myself: The aesthetics of the images in episode 11 are not to be missed! And yes, you should watch all the episodes, but very few people see the positive note at the end. But it's actually so good... and we all share the heartbreak π The On1y One is worth getting your heart broken...
I wish the production would take a look at the hype RL is getting and realize that they could/have achieved a similar hype internationally, and then decide to shoot season 2 with the original cast and crew π
Today's episode was like drinking hot cocoa while snuggled up in a warm blanket. So sweet! The terrarium scene got me! It had it all: excitement, fear, surprise, humility, care, and lots of love... Ah yes π« I miss Xiao Cubao! It's about time the little rascal came back...
And I'm glad we saw more of XS and GC today. I'm eagerly waiting for GC to give XS's ex a telling-off for the poor guy being so traumatized and losing his self-confidence!
Guys could u all recommend me some bls to watch which pay like more focus on the building the characters and tension.…
I would recommend: - The On1y One(really, really good, a slow burn and an ending that leaves you hanging the first time you watch it. There was supposed to be a second season, but the production messed it up, but you could stop at the end of episode 11, which has a beautiful final scene, or you could watch the ending at least twice to see the glimmer of hope + Benjamin and Eric are really good actors! But the fact that there probably won't be a second season will break your heart. It's still worth it...π )
- Miseinen: Mijukuna Oretachi wa Bukiyo ni Shinkochu (also known as Our Youth. Wonderful with a heavy story and the question of how the lives of two very different people meet, touch, mix, influence, and become one)
- Hishakai Shindo (also known as Depth of Field, wonderful setting, great story about pursuing one's own (buried) passion, seizing opportunities, and discovering love)
- I told sunset about you
My favorites all have a poetic touch π I love deep stories... In my opinion you will find what you are looking for in all of them.
For great chemistry and a BL that always works, I recommend I also recommend: - We best love
Since The On1y One and I told sunset about you have already been recommended to you, I would like to suggest Miseinen:…
Oh, I can understand that. I think every country has its strengths and weaknesses, and every country has some really good BLs. But I find myself most comfortable in the JBLs. Japan manages to create unique, creative, and narratively strong BLs. The only weakness is often the kissing scenes. But I think both of the suggested BLs are okay in that regard, and the stories are wonderfully deep. If you're looking for a KBL and haven't seen it yet, I suggest Ball Boy Tactics. Since you like Semantic Error, you should like it. One MC is one of the best BL characters I've seen (green flag and has a great charisma), and the intimate scenes are beautiful and very natural.
No other bl is doing it to me what Revenged love is doingπ this and desire are my top rn! While weβre waiting…
Since The On1y One and I told sunset about you have already been recommended to you, I would like to suggest Miseinen: Mijukuna Oretachi wa Bukiyo ni Shinkochu=Our Youth(until recently it was rightly number 1 of the BLs on MDL) and Hishakai Shindo = Depth of Field (the setting is breathtaking).
Lets hope the haters dont got there to downvote it!
With IMDB, it would take cleverness to influence the ratings very strongly. IMDB also has certain βsafety levelsβ built into its algorithm to cushion mass voting (in both directions). I can tell you that when RL reaches its peak there, and assuming that viewers are relatively consistent in their opinion over the episodes, the rating will level off over time in the range peak rating to peak rating -0.3.
