Her best serie for me was this https://kisskh.at/19028-general-and-i extremely recommend it and WOW ost…
ahhh the temptations now from such warm recoms π ; but I have to be reasonable, since I am already "watching too much" --- later, then. and so as not to forget, added it in TBW.
Don't know why, maybe I just wasn't in the mood then. It happens, despite my tastes in dramas are very eclectic. Some like potatoes and some like tomatoes, you know... And at times, some who like tomatoes suddenly prefer pomelos. If others found it to their taste, I have no complaint.
Never going to be judgemental of what others like: I amuse myself with some pretty silly stuff anyway, enjoy at times fluff and sizzle but don't shy away from violent and sad tragic endings either. I also do like "more serious" ones with things to learn more about, discovering the rules of billiards, learning about tapirs, hebao, xiuqiu, and how to dye and weave Shu brocade, the layout of the Golden Triangle, etc. That said, I have fond memories of some dramas featuring "hot guys" with abs too π
No. I don't know why I did not point that one out (was tired then, still am) but you should have seen it for yourself :
2. Zhu Lian Yu Mu (The Story of Pearl Girl) Highest peak: 11/04 -> 10 327 (after the change of Youku heat index system)
It is irrelevant that you point out "maintaining for 20 days". It is the highest peak that counts since once reached a peak, heat index doesn't "fall" . There is no rule that goes with "20 days" even one day is enough!
10,327 is far above what you consider "can't exceed 10100". and if one looks at dates, it means the breaking above 10,300 was maintained for at least 9 days, which is not zero.
It just proves that heat indexes on Youku are indeed NOT LIMITED TO 10,000 I hope you'll stop disbelieving hard facts and spread errors...
look here https://it.mydramalist.com/list/4Ko5VbD4 read after Highest peak btw it is Youku not youko but if you mean you did not watch those I mentioned, I can understand. Escape was not easily available, and very special, very violent too. The First Shot was more mainstream and widely known since Zhang Yimou was informally directing, but the actors were special. That's where Xie Keyin got attention btw. A fine young actress. And both dramas I mentioned earned quite high Douban ratings.

thanks for recom. I watched 2 Wallace Chung dramas already and they were good but not that one, so will keep that title on my informal tbw list until time allows π
ah another one, back to watching 4 Cdramas at the same time againππcanβt have a break π΄π΄πFinished…
Oh the toil of spending hours watching too many tempting c-dramas ππ I'm with you : 3 on my plate (although one is a lesser interesting short episodes one only for distraction) but 3 other that look tempting and are long episodes ones. This one is tempting too, but I am still dilly-dallying. Liked the opening credits song.... and if Curly Gao and Alan Dawa Dolma and Tiger Hu sing, I will at least listen to the OST π
Youku doesn't have a limit either since 24 July 2024. But only three dramas broke the 10,000 heat index ceiling there : Dashing Youth, Escape From The Trilateral Slopes, The First Shot. I did not have time for Dashing Youth (not exactly my preferred taste anyway) but was very impressed with the other two (crime and biopic for the first one, crime in the 1990s for the second one). Very recommended.
airdropped today without warning. Even Baidu does not have all details, but dramawiki does have the OST list : 1. Troubles in this World (δΈι΄ζ½η¦») Curley Gao 2. The Mountains Are Green (θΏε±±δΈηι) Tiger Hu 3. Empty (θ) Alan Dawa Dolma
Not many watched it, but I may give it a go to distance myself from the avalanche of hyped dramas long and short that is hailing down from c-dramaland. Some are rather thrilling, some are even endearing, but I feel like in a glut, needing perhaps old tropes and stuff for relaxation. Will have a look at it, whether or not I stay long enough to count it in on my watch list... 44 episodes seem a bit daunting nowadays, but there's even "worse" (lol) when I look at the 78 episodes of A Legend of Chinese Immortals that is also being re run on Youtube. Perhaps I'll just sample a few episodes, since CNY hectic times are soon starting (Jan29).
It's funny that ML character is named θζ Xiao Zhan just like the then emerging famous actor. 2019 was the year of The Untamed, but he had already been noticed in a couple other dramas.

thanks for ep1-39 :) but link for ep40 is dead :( so many archives are dead and shows will die out, so annoying to leave this one hanging with last ep missing ... does anyone have it? .
