I think a lot of it has to do with how mature HJP is throughout the series. He makes adult decisions constantly…
I think most of the recent comments are from people visiting this page from the TB section, so don't bother too much explaining. We already know why we, as adults who know how the world works, prefer HJP. Them, not so much
Just wanna ask you guys which drama you prefer for KSH next?Mr. Hong with Shin Min AhLink with Moon Ga Young?
Link's plot sounds promising but after TB I'm not sure I like MGY acting that much (I really liked her in The great seducer tho) but I'm not sure how wide her range of acting is. As people mentioned I prefer him with SMA but I don't like the story of Mr. Hong, sounds pretty boring to me. That's why I'd go for Link.
I'm starting a loose ends/things that made 0 sense compilation. Feel free to add your own, it would be fun to have them together.
Mine, I'd go for DM's "You're avoiding me" to HJP and next scene bumping into HJP in the elevator and going "you're not avoiding me anymore". When literally bumping into him by accident, so is he supposed to run or something. That was fun.
Hahaha I'd go for the second. No writer wants to tarnish their reputation for some buzz. Now PHR will always be…
I think she messed up trying to "innovate" and she was in denial about her failure, so she pushed Dodal even further, adding the kiss scene/all the flexing from last episode and minimizing HJP's presence plus giving him a shitty ending. Princes Aurora's writer just prove how much power a drama writer has. PHR did it to herself, but I'd go for the "messing up but not accepting reality & too much pride to change the ending".
Try Run on. I love it. It's like the healthy relationship Jidal was portraying (sometimes, Run on is better). They are not perfect, but I love how they navigate the problems they face. The writer is def going to my top 1 in romantic stories and I'm planning to watch her future works for sure.
Also "You drive me crazy" healed my HJP bleeding heart hahaha
I still find it weird to see HJP referred to as the second male lead. I mean I know he is technically the second…
He is not a second lead. PHR messed up big time presenting the "SML" as the ML and then trying to convince us otherwise. As we were really hard to convince, she cut HJP off and gave him a bad ending. She was in denial (in my humble opinion) and wasn't open to see the bigger picture (if you know a little bit about storytelling, you arrive to the conclusion the HJP is the one who should have ended with the girl).
If she were able to recognize she made a mistake and fix it, maybe the ending could have been better. Maybe she didn't change the ending but she was proud enough not to let anyone convince her HJP is better and didn't want to change the endgame because "nobody can make her do so, she is the writer" (which is a common human behavior). Who knows
At first ,I was confused about the writer but after going through history of some stupid and badly criticized…
Hahaha I'd go for the second. No writer wants to tarnish their reputation for some buzz. Now PHR will always be known for this fiasco. She did great dramas in the past (Pinnochio was one of my favorite) but this time something happened to her (maybe she went crazy haha) that made her go for an horrible ending. Regarding which team you root for, the ending is bad writing all over the place.
I will be careful next time she does a drama (if she dare to muahahaha jk) and maybe wait for it to end. Because I can't do a second heartbreak. (The other heartbreak apart from startup was scarlet ryeo, so it's pretty ruff out there)
I agree with you. I would never understand how she forgave SDS so quickly and how she never confronted any of…
The fact that she disliked HJP the most, it's another point to a Jidal ending as we usually feel more hurt by the people we care the most about. I'm quite mad at the writer for making SDM into some object character. Stones face? I blame the writer.
SDM could easily be a gold digger as she is not shown as a good professional in the end. You're a bad CEO? Marry for money, and marry someone who fell head over heels in love with you. This way you will be secure he will always be there for you
I used to think that NDS had the lowest self esteem in the show. Then I realize it's actually SDM.I placed myself…
I agree with you. I would never understand how she forgave SDS so quickly and how she never confronted any of the people involved in the lie (except for HJP, who she conveniently decided to ignore later). The relationship isn't unrealistic per se, they are in the infatuation phase which won't last forever.
Researches show that couples that never fight (or rarely do) end up breaking up, so if we take reality as a starting point, their marriage won't last long. Maybe a few good years before both of them starting resenting each other: DM for being lied to and SDS for having to give up on his beliefs. I'm pretty sure their insecurities won't let them communicate.
That's my take. As presented in the drama, their relationship will hardly work out. If they had the tendency to grow and learn (which they don't as in 3 years no change=complacent people) things would have been different.
And yeah, for SDS/DM to work as a couple PHR had to take away any glimpse of DM personality. She's more of an animated object, no feelings and no thought of her own.
But for KSH I'll watch Mr, Hong like every week

I liked SDS the nerd but the savior with an angst look and painful past (the teenager fantasy) is a no from me

Nice
