If I too, happened to find a man dressed in royal robe reminiscent of the Joseon dynasty and talking so formally. I would think he took cosplaying a little too seriously.
Everything about this drama is fantastic so far! From the dialogue, to the characters, to the sequence of events.
Korean writers need to work on their screenwriting as the plot is 100 but the way they represent it just idk what…
Yes, the backstory was very unclear and the CGI and action scenes aren’t good enough. The comedy was also forced. I would believe it’s a Chanel A issue
The fact that it’s only 8 episodes is not reassuring
A show about women doing fornication, being on the forefront of their own objectification. Obviously you'd call…
Were the women ‘fornicating’ with themselves? Who kept wanting sex in the drama? Who sold the women for their bodies to get gold all in the name of a blasted contract??
Did you properly watch the drama or saw short clips and formed your opinions from it, either ways your idea is wrong, and the so called authority you wrote is misogyny. So, no thanks.
What do you count as severe? In the drama there is lots of derogatory talks on women, they’re touched and stripped naked inappropriately and we are shown this. There’s a scene with a man’s naked backside many times in one episode, riding action, and lots of moaning; they were filming an erotica.
Most of y'all are just complaining to complain at this point. The plot is literally that she's a girl who transformed…
Regarding the boundaries part. Where has Yoon-Jae shown boundaries?
He followed Min-Ju to the Doctors. He allowed her kiss him and he’s still being friendly toward her. He was watching her with lustful eyes when she was on the countertop. He’s always willing to drop anything whenever she asks. He didn’t address the fact that she came dressed like his girlfriend in that one scene.
Boundaries is more than just saying you have a girlfriend, you have to act like you have one. We will see how he behaves differently with Ji-Eun
I had some thoughts about Jung-Hwa’s acting but it makes sense why she’s acting younger and being dramatic. She has been robbed 25 years off her life and forced to adapt in the 21st century. Even though she was more mature in 1999, it makes sense for her to behave this way, which is delusional and in denial.
The comedy is good and mystery combination has me intrigued so I will be looking forward to Im Se-Ra’s development.
What I really don’t understand in Korean shows when they do this “failed female” characters is the styling. If…
I think it’s because they naturally have straight hair so they’re trying to show her hair in a manner that means she let herself go (it still has disturbing undertones). This was also the same look the female lead had in She Was Pretty

Episode 2 is not coming fast enough!

It’s not one of those dramas that should be taken lightly.
