Title Sweet & Sour Spoiler
I just KNEW there was something fishy going on and I was right!!
IKR. I knew there was something fishy when the girl said at the beginning that the ring on her finger was a graduation ring. The way she was acting was sus but I totally forgot about my suspicions until the ending.

Kudos to the twist at the end even though it was confusing as hell at first. I've seen so many films, it's always refreshing when one can surprise me with the plot like that. I'd say it's definitely worth the watch. It's a real to life film with a bit of comedy peppered here and there to break up the heaviness that overshadows the whole plot. Great watch!!

Title One Ordinary Day Spoiler
Okay, I loved this! The casting and writing was interesting all the way throughout. The only issue I had was that Hyun Soo's transition from a whimpering noodle to a chainsmoking badass felt a bit too rushed/unrealistic. Like, it should have been spread out between a few more episodes or something. I just wasn't buying the badboy act in the last two episodes. Maybe after years of being in jail, sure, but his trial wasn't over yet. Anyways, GREAT SHOW!

I dropped it pretty early on. Like within the first half hour. I can't quite remember why because it was so long ago. Guess the story just didn't grab me :/

This needed more sexual tension/content because that evokes passion and suspense. It was too clean and too pretty.

Ohhh my god, I can't. I don't care if the script is lacking or if the overall production value feels low budget. Like, this is just so awesome!! I can't wait!! And the more popular these types of series become hopefully the more they will make with bigger budgets. All I have to say is, yes, yes, yes!

How do you know what to skip until you've seen/heard what the scenes you skip contain? These historical dramas…
I know what to skip when I start thinking or feeling the plot is dragging. I’ve seen so many movies for the most part the plot is predictable so I skip only by a few minutes at a time or just drag my cursor over the video play bar to see the little square preview of the movie and follow that until it looks like something interesting is happening. I never skip films that really capture my attention. Like Mr.Long, Clean Up etc, I never skipped one scene. It’s actually quite rare for me to find a movie good enough that I won’t skip scenes. And I can’t just drop a movie even if it bores me because will forever be burning to know what ending is lol.

Samsies. I never used to shy away from sad looking films before discovering Asian cinema. They take 'sad' to a…
Ikr!! It takes you by surprise because we spent our whole lives watching Hollywood films. All of a sudden we are shown a whole new world of film making. I have never cried so hard in my life than with Asian movies. I’m talking red-faced, nose dripping, hard af crying. It’s something else, man. And they stay with you too! They take a piece of your soul or something? It’s like magic. I had a whole year where I was recovering from an illness so I was out of work and all I did all day long was watch Asian movies. So you will see me a lot on this site lol. I don’t have so much time now which is sad, but there will be times in my day where I will remember certain scenes from films because they were that powerful.

Aww I’m so glad you found this and that you liked it! It’s so awesome when you love a movie and others say how much they liked it too. This one is a hidden gem for sure.

Omg yes that drove me nuts as well!! Like hell I’m going to believe all those guys just waited around for their turn to get slashed!! You are so right. That is my one and only dislike in this film as well. The choreography was just sloppy. But I’ll forgive it because the rest of the film was so great.

Boy, he laid a bang-up guilt trip on Oma, though, didn't he.
Yeah and the director calls cut all the time, and you have to redo scenes. And on top of that they have no privacy if they get famous. No wonder they get paid so much! They do important work too because like 90% of planet are working class regular Joe’s who survive on the entertainment these people and directors and crew member provide. What’s life without any colour? The film industry provides the world so much. I just love it.

I'll have to add that to my list of fluffy stuff when I'm in the mood for it haha. I watch a lighthearted film about once a month
