Curious as to how it changed your point of view on the "bad guy?" He finally lost me for good when he went back…
Damn I watched this a year ago so I can’t quite remember. I just remember really hating the parents and feeling so bad for the murdered boy’s parents. Especially when they were about to read that note in court but then the judge told Kira to leave the room because he was a minor. Like that royally pissed me off!

It changed my Point of view because I originally thought Kira was the bad guy because of his having killed that boy. But then the movie showed such a lack of proper structure with the judicial system and with his parents that you realize Kira never had proper guidance therefor he never really had a chance. This was his parents’ and society’s failure to make him take responsibility while he is still young and learning. In my eyes, he was a victim too.
hi! i'll give you my personal thoughts. well, the title means peter pan dream, we can see minha drawing peter…
Ikr!? It was already deep enough and then I realize that he probably offed himself T_T I too totally thought he went to some happy place where the gays can live free lol. The hints were SO subtle and yet glaring in retrospect, just like they would be in real life! Crazy movie, man.
As for Sang Bum breaking up with him on the beach, I think Minha knew he was going to off himself so that’s why he didn’t have a strong reaction. Sang Bum treated him so well all day because he was planning on breaking it off like that. Minha didn’t want to break up at first but then maybe he thought it would be less painful for his boyfriend later and that’s why he said let’s break up at the fireworks.. I can’t fully remember though so maybe someone will have more insight. What a great film, indeed!

Shin was upset because he knew that Kazu had cheated with the married guy(Takashi). He knew this because he saw a hickey on Kazu’s neck while they were lying down together after he got out of jail. I’m assuming that Shin knew it was from Takashi because he figured Kazu had no one else in his life.
Yes, when Kazu originally went to Takashi’s they didn’t sleep together. They only slept together when Shin was in jail.

I think the cop's arresting Shin so easily is just a difference in culture/laws. In Japan, their penal system is kind of 'guilty until proven innocent.' Or at least it was as of a few years ago. I'm not sure if they have improved since then.
As for Shin's going crazy over Kazu cheating all of a sudden, I think it was because Shin was really in love with Kazu all along he just didn't realize it or didn't want to admit it because he was so used to being a douchebag. He didn't want to belong to anyone. So when Kazu finally got some standards for himself and left, he finally realized that he did really like him afterall, hence the brief shots of him being angry and then depressed. That's why he ended up getting really upset when Kazu cheated. And also because he went against his douchey nature for him and tried to change so they could be together.

My “cookie cutter” comment was a generalization, I wasn’t inferring you had said it. My “frustrating to watch” comment was meant just as much for myself as it was for everyone else. I wasn’t assuming you had found it frustrating. Good to know that you didn’t :) And it’s perfectly okay to point out they all need some serious therapy. I can see how people wouldn’t like this film. I almost didn’t at first, but then Shin’s turn around made me love it :P

If every love story was a cookie cutter tale where everyone does and says the right thing this would be a pretty boring world. The characters were all severely flawed like normal people are. Yeah it’s frustrating at times but I was still rooting for Shin and Kazu. They had redeeming qualities like how you could tell Shin missed Kazu and regretted treating him so poorly.

And I totally knew that was Lee Byung Hun under the grey mask!!! I could tell by his English accent when he was speaking on the phone. As soon as he started talking, I was like "omg no way that sounds exactly like Lee Byung Hun" but then I thought "Nah, there's no way because that would be way too awesome." Lo and behold it ended up being him! I've obviously seen way too many movies to start recognising ppl by their voice like that lol x_x Maybe it's time to try and climb my way outta this Kdrama rabbit hole...
This was freaking awesome! It was hilarious and thrilling most of the time. There were a few parts that dragged a little when the characters were talking but they were few and far between. Thank God they made this only 9 episodes. They could have made it even shorter if they wanted to but any longer and they would have ruined it. Love all the cast. The soundtrack was unique af, too.
