I find this great comment by a Chinese fan on XHS that explains about the baby swap situation between the 3 mothers:

1) Wei Heng: A love that takes over by force:
She is the person who has always treated Jundai best. She has been protecting, spoiling her and plotting for her. This doesn’t feel like an aunt doting on a niece but more like a mother who is desperately trying to secure her daughter to have a wealthy and glorious life because she is her real mother. Back then, she had an affair with a poor scholar and had Jundai who is an illegitimate daughter who could not be seen in public. She was very jealous of her twin brother’s daughter, WR who was born legitimate of the heiress of the Wei mansion. So she planned a baby swap by taking Jundai into the Wei mansion to replace WR & dumping WR in the middle of nowhere.
To the outside world, she is such a great loving aunt but deep down, she’s Jundai’s mother.
This machievelious plan to protect Jundai has a tremendous impact on WR’s life. It’s been WR struggling to pour chamber pots in the mud for over 10 years and her entire childhood has been stolen away. In Wei Heng’s heart, this love isn’t wrong but she chose to ruin someone else’s child ‘s life to make hers successful. This is just evil.

2) Zhou Fu ( Consort Li): motherly love that calculates pros & cons:

She is the mother in the show who breaks your heart the most, but also leaves you speechless.. at first, she genuinely didn’t know that A Chou was WR. Her daughter was swapped & left to wander the streets after being left in the Wei mansion, so she had no clue of knowing the details.

But the terrible part comes later when the truth was revealed & she realised that the girl that everyone despises & whom she has almost ordered the execution was actually her long lost daughter, she chose silence. She didn’t dare to acknowledge WR, she didn’t want to. Exposing this fact would reaver the secret of the baby swap, Jundai’s background ( born out of wedlock), her affair with the emperor and these would bring her family down. Note that the empress is waiting to catch her on any mistakes. Blood ties aren’t as important as a bright future for her. Zhou Fu behaviour isn’t that she doesn’t love her daughter but the one that calculates. When motherly love clashes with power, she lets it yield to power. This is probably the most restrained kind of bad love “ I love you but I love power more”.

3) Mrs Qiao motherly love: a deal that drains the bones:

Year ago when she lost her own daughter in the mountains, she happened to pick an abandoned baby ( real WR) up, she put her as her own daughter in the family register. It looks like she has pity, compassion for the abandoned baby but it is in reality a transaction. She saved WR’s life but makes her repay by hard labour to financially support her younger children. WR wasn’t her family member, she was just free labour for her family. WR has been beaten, scolded & suffered from harsh treatment from them. Mrs Qiao’s treatment of WR is the ruthless as she is turning another child into a consumable item. There was no love for WR. The debt of saving a life was real but the exploitation of that child’s was also real.

There are no good mums but just twisted motherly love. The cruelest part of this show isn’t writing about bad mothers but these 3 mothers have all made deals with the devil using motherly love. Ambition, power and profit have occupied the place that is meant for love.

Personally I would not put trust in other people to put spoiler tags, you saying this will not change anything because there will still be people who do this. Help yourself by not looking at the comments before you are up to date, if you don't want any spoilers.

The Chinese fans on XHS said that they will divorce and will get married 3 times. First time is after her identity trauma was revealed. He didn’t want to get a divorce but had to accept it based on their original agreement. They then get married the second time, consumed their marriage & LZ went to war & has not returned as he was thought to have died in the battlefield but in reality he was detained by his enemies for a long time. WR asked the lu family to free her with the divorce. Han Liao, prepared a rebellion with the empress, threatened WR with her mum’s life ( consort Li), forced WR to marry him but LZ came back from the dead to kill Han Liao. They get married the 3rd time LOL.

I think this is a much more complex geopolitical issue than simply labeling one side as right or wrong. Japan’s efforts to strengthen its defense capabilities, China’s position on Taiwan, and the broader regional security situation all need to be considered in context. Basically, Taiwan rejected his visit because authorities questioned the purpose of his fan meeting and raised concerns about his previous social media posts and attendance at the Strait Forum, which they view as politically sensitive. China, on the other hand, accused Taiwan of politicizing cultural exchanges. So it’s mainly a political issue rather than anything related to his acting career.
