A 16ep drama that never bored me. Loved the sismance, and that Spring Sunshine is basically the 2nd lead with lots of sceentime
Since the romance genre is now removed: I'm usually a romance lover but around the tenth episode I thought '' are they really gonna force romance in this, still?'', and I'm glad they didn't.
Is an open forum and i have my right to speak up my opinion. I didn't said anything bad beside that is not fit my taste, even if i watch this type of dramas. For me this lacks something. . Kinda tired of many ppl saying bye to ppl which drops dramas and says why :)))
And how’d he become prince, eh? By exploiting the workers. By hanging on to outdated imperialist dogma which perpetuates the economic and social differences in our society. Joseon demons lying in ponds, distributing swords is no basis for a system of government! Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. Come and see the violence inherent in the system. Help! We're being oppressed!
Will watch out for this, if its a critique on royalism, aristocatism and social limitations because of it, I am in, if it is a romantisation of the chaebol class meeting the royal class it's unfortunately a hard pass for me. I am allready against all this rich chaebol/royal class drama 💩 going on in SK. As if only rich people have interesting relationship/family drama.
I really appreciate the lack of family drama, violence, or the assumption that everyone had a miserable childhood or trauma. It's a comfortable series.
Just finished this - but it took me a while because the story got kind a boring half-way through. The cast and characters were fantastic and this is really what held me through. Every character was so well thought out, had depth and were interesting. The relationships to the ML was were so good. But the story itself was kind of dry. Started off strong with the escape and meeting the Chang's - but once he actually got home - start to fizzle. Then really fails towards the end - especially the big reveal and consequences of that. Thought the Ms Su character got completely wasted in the second half - which was a shame - she was sooo intriguing and there was so much potential there. And, while we didnt need a big romance - a bit more attention to this would have been nice. Also bummed we didnt get to see Pengwen get married. Ending was very unsatisfactory.
i see a cut scene drama julia xiang with zhu ya wen? it looks interesting
Yes, Legend of the Magnate. Even though it's "just" a guest role, I'd say it's her most compelling performance to date. She's well casted in this role and shines as Bai Yimei. Her chemistry on screen with Zhu Yawen is an unexpected surprise as well.
