And now we know the big secret. It's pretty much exactly what everyone guessed. That's a bit disappointing. However, I think the actors did a wonderful job making me believe it. And the specific way that Phi responded makes Tam's hesitation make perfect sense. However...NOW I'm left feeling some kind of way about episode 6. If Phi is so invested in The Reason it seems weird he didn't seem to care all that much before this episode. Buuuut... Also...the show is clearly trying to say something about codependent relationships. And that message is being delivered beautifully.

It felt too soon and simple how they got together. They didn't discuss their break-up and the reason why Tam left.
In the preview Phi says he already found out while Tam was gone.

Which matches him saying in episode 6 that he and Tam never really knew each other at all. But he wants to.

Title The Ex-Morning Spoiler
The ONE scenario I never considered is exactly the scenario that I think we're getting based on the preview (which most of you clearly didn't watch...). It seems like Phi already knew The Reason. Which explains why he's been soooo unbothered about it.

This is shaping up to be incredibly confident, patient story telling that will benefit from a rewatch once we know how it ends. It feels like we're coming into it with too many expectations from past shows and it's trying to do its own thing.

Also, I loved Phi being so unaffected by the sex. While Tam was shattered Phi didn't (appear) to care. This show is way more subtle than I ever thought GMMTV could be or most BLS fans are ready for.

So, I was brushing my teeth, thinking of nothing, preparing for slumber, when a thought suddenly leapt into my…
I had a similar thought. But I thought it was Phi and Tam didn't have the heart to admit he knew.
On The Ex-Morning Jun 6, 2025
Oh, man. They are hyping up Tam's reasons for doing what he did sooo much. I'm just worried that nothing is going to live up to the hype and nothing he says will make me think his actions were at least a little justified. Which is kind of important...I'm so torn about rooting for them to reconcile.

I enjoyed this. It has some weak spots but in general is quite OK. However there are two things that bothered…
I didn't read the manga or web novel or whatever this is based on. But I will say that character was way more annoying in the Japanese. So, I wonder if that's how he was written...?

Is it just me or the second couple with the writer and the delivery boy is so irritating to me. I just can't get…
They annoyed me even more in the Japanese version. So this pair I could deal with.

Review Cherry Magic
You probably need to watch the show again... Without distractions. You seemingly missed a number of very blatant plot points and story arcs. Maybe story telling style didn't work for you (as it's fallen out of popularity globally. But basically ALL shows around the world used to use this same basic story telling method.) It was a very well crafted script that stuck to the style it chose.

It was simple, cute nice chemistry. I'd watch this pair again in a longer, more fleshed out project. As it was this didn't seem to justify it's existence. I think it was an advertisement for the hotel, maybe?

Just finished episode 4... So, am I supposed to care what happens to Peach and Shin? Cause I don't. All I want to know is if Atom ever breaks out of his mom's control. Poor Puppy😭

Is this worth finishing? I had liked it so far, but all the characters managed to irritate me in episode 4 aside…
This is exactly what happened to me... I'm just not invested in any of these characters (Except Atom) to deal with the pointless angst. I don't even like Peach and Shin together the first place.
Firstly, since there are a lot of (I hope) very young and (I hope not) very..."immature" people in the comments section, I want to make it VERY clear: A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY EQUATE TO KISSING, "SKINSHIP" AND/OR SEX. Being in a relationship does not suddenly grant your partner unfettered access to your body. Not wanting to be physically intimate is not at all a problem or a hindrance to a healthy/happy relationship. The problem comes when the two (or more, I guess) parties fail to communicate their needs and boundaries up front. If you need lots of touching and affection? You have to say that. If you're not interested in touching and affection? You have to say that. And then each party can decide if they would like to move forward or not.

Secondly, I must be the only person that hates Shin. He's hella cute. But he's just doing the absolute most. It gets annoying. Minato is no saint. He's also annoying. The format of the show is annoying. Some things just didn't translate/transfer well, I guess.

Guess I'm just gonna call it quits after episode 1*.... I don't like Vee. I'm not rooting for/invested in the lead pair at all. And the only positive thing anyone in the comments has to say is that the stupid not-real-porn scenes were hot. Seeing as I skip over sex scenes anyway... There's nothing here for me*.

This has no reason to exist. I hate Vee very slightly less in this version. But he's still awful. The conflict is still stupid. The sex scenes are still random and unnecessary.

This was fun. I really enjoyed it. I think the cast had great chemistry across the board and they sold me on the more ridiculous bits. All of the Easter eggs and cameos were tons of fun. I liked Dol a ton. They deserved more screen time. (Could have replaced that SOTUS level of pointless side couple story about the damn vet. #NeverForgotPremWad)

There were a couple moments that strained (and broke) my suspension of disbelief wholly and entirely. But nothing too important. IE - Talay's brother told him that he used to be Puen's manager and at NO point does Puen think to himself, "I wonder if his number is still in my phone contacts?" (Which we know it was because of the note that Tess wrote.) That scene of the agent cock blocking Talay' would have made more sense if it was the agent answering Talay' s call and blocking his number without telling Puen.

The only thing I hated was them constantly referring to Talay' as "the female lead" or even "the wife" towards the end. I thought we were finally past this Thailand? Uhg. It's two men. There is no female lead. There is no woman. You don't need to make one of them "fill that role" in order to tell a romantic story.

Overall, if you can bare with some of the story's flaws I think the good bits are worth sticking it through for.

It was cute and sweet. Ghost stories aren't my favorite, personally. They all kind of have the same ending and it's really hard to make that kind of ending feel satisfying. The guys had great chemistry. The script was simple and mostly kept out of its own way. Lots of good ideas here that I could see fleshed out into a longer story/telling. Id watch more of this.
On All the Liquors Dec 15, 2023
Reading the comments I feel like a lot of people weren't paying very close attention... This isn't really gonna be a great series for people who need things spelled out multiple times. I'm not saying it's perfect. It's not by a long shot. But the specific criticisms I'm seeing are just flat out wrong.
On All the Liquors Dec 15, 2023
I liked it a lot. Very quiet and contemplative. It's a mellow mature story that isn't overly concerned with gimmicks or drama. The director, correctly in my opinion, bet on the very charming cast and delightful chemistry between the leads to draw the audience in as we watch a short time unfold in the lives a two people finding each other. It was very nice overall.
