I'm curious to see how I'll feel about Lust. La Mu I adored, Heartless cracked me up, he really is the funniest. Excited to see what Lust brings to the table.
And I hope they do us justice by giving us a scene with all three after they find out she's dating them all 🤣
So funny how in all the dramas I watch, I wait and wait and pine for a kiss from the lead couple. Here I'm anticipating the three shards meeting the most!!!
I love both sisters but my preference is usually for the more boisterous Ye Tan type so I was pondering why I like Qing Kui so much. Because normally this type of character is not my cup of tea.
She has a sense of humor. Yes she's very kind, good and loving but she's not pious. She's also not a goody goody nag either and actually seems like she'd be fun to hang out with. He Xuan Lin is really excelling as Qing Kui.
Another random thought is that Landi Li and CXX have excellent chemistry and different forms of it too which is pretty darn amazing. Her relationship with La Mu is completely different to her relationship with Heartless and the original YQ.
Omg CXX's face during Heartless' exchange with Ye Tan while she was blackmailing him, was priceless!!! He was so weasley and had superb comic timing. That's one of my favorite scenes. There were both shameless and hilarious.
La Mu and Ye Tan were so pure. Pure love, empathy and understanding. This pair is so hysterically shady.🤣
Fiery is absolutely precious and must be protected!!!! I've always had high praise for CXX (one of the ones who can act in my book) but he's totally nailing it as awkward YQ and the adorable Fiery.
I can't wait to see him as vain looking soul shard.
Wu Dai is too cute as well. I do think they're setting him up to be fairly harmless. He hasn't done anything overly evil. He's just loud and brutish so there's a good chance he might flip to the good side methinks.

I cracked up so much and CXX’s expressions when he was being harassed by Ye Tan. I love that we have such an awkward ML. He is adorable. The actor’s portrayal makes me think that the character is neurodiverse, which actually makes sense given how gifted he is and certain traits that he displays. Very unique ML.
I honestly could watch the comedy in this drama forever! It's the most hilarious show I've seen in a while. Love the awkward ML instead of the usual suave, white wearing, too good for anything male leads.
The second ML has excellent comic timing! Their storyline is less comedic but he really delivers when there is comedy.
For a xian xia I find the reactions and actions of the characters actually quite realistic and reasonable within the confines of their world.
They jumped from the first couple to the second couple and I was still enjoying myself so much. Usually in these dramas it's crappy filler when they take time away from the leads. This has been set up really well so that both stories a highly enjoyable. I don't feel that it's draggy.
They used to be so good now every second day it doesn't work!
