I'm giggling at the thought of the mighty SDYQ sitting around grinning at YT's undergarment 🤣
Oh tell me what drama this is??? Curious minds want to know!
Haha I was obsessed, and I mean totally obsessed with Immortal Samsara (my husband is very similar to Ying Yuan minus the whole save the world burden) but I managed to move on pretty quickly after it ended.
I'm so obsessed with TSL! Probably partly because the cast are still interacting and are so darn cute!!!

Lemme find and rewatch in the next few days. There was a reference to the foot later on but he definitely used YT’s undergarment initially. Heavenly Empress was there! DLJ said YQ scrubbed everything off and the only thing that had a smell on it was YT’s undergarment.

Nonono An remember she had it embroidered? So she basically wore it to seduce him, they had sexy times and he kept it as a souvenir. At least that’s how it plays out in my mind.
DLJ used it to track down YQ so the other theory is they had lots of sexy times and he had her stuff lying around.
Hahah happy for you to enlighten me with your own theories! The more the merrier! 😜😝
Guys I have a question that I'm hoping you seasoned drama watchers can help me out.
They seem to have been able to get this cast back for a lot of reunions, interviews and the final party etc. I have seen all kinds of interviews with Landi and CXX.
The only other drama that I followed closely, the cast never had anything to do with each other again. None of the cute videos that we got here with the TSL cast skipping around in modern clothes etc
Which one is the norm? Are they supposed to be back for promos or is it more normal to vanish after filming?
Can anyone recommend other Chinese costume dramas with no pitiful loyal second male lead get heartbroken because…
New Life Begins!!!!! I loved that one! No SML issue or bitchy SFL. I actually shipped FL and SFL a bit as the show went on! Not that there was anything going on. They were just very supportive of each other and sweet.
The show wasn't an epic romance but it was wonderful in its own way.
Loved that scene too! YQ brought the best out of YT and vice versa, YT brought YQ's all out. YQ was the only person…
I am really curious as to what would have happened with YT and Wu Dai. Girl had photos of him in her room and fan girled over him. Would she have wanted to marry him and rule the Void?
Which brings me to another favourite scene when YQ sees the Wu Dai poster and is all "WTF! Wu Dai??? Why??? I do not understand this. I cannot compute!"
She does not want him to be live restrained again as Heavenly Crown Prince. Actually Ye Tan is perfect match because…
I felt like towards the end of the shard arc, YT was wondering if it was worth it to bring YQ back and for him to bear the same huge burden. That and she felt that she couldn't discard the shards and just make them vanish. I loved that this was a problem for her and not something she could forge ahead with easily. That they were individuals living in their own right before she found them. I loved the growth from when they were just shards to revive YQ, to her feeling that they were full individuals with their own lives.
You bring up very valid points about their lives in hiding. I don't think she thought it through by that point and the plot didn't call for it to be spelled out. My interpretation is that if the story was actually real (ie not following the set plot we were given to watch), she would presumably get them into hiding and find a way to defeat the villains who were after them. Possibly they would all hide for some time and maybe they would move somewhere else and start over.
Who knows how she would have juggled the three of them but I always felt like she might have ended her romantic liaisons with them all for their own good. Or maybe they would all chase after her and live as a harem. Endless possibilities if we weren't restricted by a set script. However to me it wasn't a completely bad idea. It would have been difficult but it I could see why she felt the need to pursue it.
I love QK and the way she managed YT's insolence. Instead of being the goody goody kill joy she always looked like she enjoyed YT's shenanigans and could see the reasoning and humor or heartbreak behind YT's behavior.
So well written and acted. Often the goody character is quite a pill!

When they were doing the potato hand bonding thing.

So cute how he kept insisting he was stronger!

I loved them so much!!!
I watched it much later so everything was all there already.
The dog at Rixu Palace because it can eat disgusting food and bite. I can't do either so I respect it.
His face! I almost died watching that part 🤣🤣🤣
