well, there’s a lot to write, but to say a bit there’s YSL beating the shit out of him, a lot of physical violence with kicking, tons of humiliation (not the kinky pleasant kind), then letting FX injure himself. And while he was hitting his head on the wall splashing and exploding it with blood, I felt no satisfaction in any revenge tbh 🤣 not that I felt super sorry for him, but it was just a confusing feeling in general for me reading this, bc that was just all sad imo, even tho I’m usually very into any freaks-combo

meh, party poppers are classic nowadays esp here and on x, so I wouldn’t pay much attention to this lol just enjoy the show don’t mind them, lately its never the discussion of how interesting characters and dynamics are, it’s mostly about “how dare they portray/show something controversial, only pure characters are allowed” or “actors are at fault” “they kiss too much/they don’t kiss enough” “where is NC/why so much NC” etc etc it’s neverending circus lol I’ve learned to just laugh at these

that’s why I said it would be easier to accept for moral ppl, bc most can’t handle it when villains get away with stuff, so they ask for revenge/consequences and that’s perfect for those who can’t handle “no consequences” lol

Just finished the novel and Fan Xiao is not as lucky as Hua Yong and Pheem, he’s not gonna be just petted and taken home for no logical reason after everything he did, these were abnormalities with nonchalant reaction lol

But at least “righteous” whining people who are dissing all these shows yet still continue watching won’t be complaining this time that he “didn’t pay for what he did” or “how dare they just forgive as if it’s normal”. Bc a lot of asses were truly on fire in the comments after Sheng Shaoyou and Than just went “meh” and took them home and it was hilarious to read lmao This might be easier accepted by moral police in the future I think haha

but in pure logic Pheem got a near death wound for him, but he himself shot him in the shoulder to stop him from giving up the evidence thar would make his dad kill him so it is what it is. he’s never presented to be a righteous man lol I think you just need to not watch dramas with problematic characters and his other half who loves him problematic. it’s definitely not your thing, there are way too much morally right love stories out there

“Than deserves someone who will give his life for him” that’s what Pheem did already in episode 6, that’s why you need to watch the full show, not the reels lol

But he also the one who will injures him if he leaves, but Than seems to be okay with it 😂

but for real I didn’t get this part… choosing to shoot someone in front of bunch of kids is not only stupid af, it’s also cruel af at the same time. and what if he accidentally hurt an innocent kid? and if he killed Pheem fr and children would be witnessing blood and corpse and have PTSD of shooting for life? like ANY OTHER place would be fine. Park and Chet are absolutely garbage with a trash bags instead of brains, this level of stupidity must be studied

I’ve noticed that some here still try to look at it from the point of view that Than’s feelings for Pheem are based on childhood memory and that they don’t understand the premise of his feelings for him. It’s bc they’re NOT based on the childhood memories. Initially he didn’t know that Pheem is “Tim”. He said that Pheem is heartless and he can dangerously fall in love with him while being drunk before he found out that he’s that boy. First four episodes he was falling for crazyass Pheem, that had nothing to do with “Tim”. It was just an extra flavor that it turned out to be the same person. So they do not need the long ass childhood history.

So saying that Than’s feelings for Pheem make no sense bc childhood flashback is not enough a base is not it imo. For him 1st episode meeting was the base, that’s the Pheem he wanted to bang. It’s just that Pheem has multi faced bases is the additional entertainment for Than apparently since he loves it.

It really feels like all the brains in the family went into Pheem. His plans might sometimes be cruel, but it’s always minimal damage. Risa as someone already said doesn’t have smart plans, they’re all based on maximum violence. Chet is dumb af, I cannot handle this level of dumb. When he told Risa she’s stupid, I couldn’t help but laugh 😂 Also they’re both okay with murdering their sibling, Pheem never even once hired anyone to end them (I wish he did tbh).

Watching Park being beaten up in a pulp by the dad for the 10th time is annoying, Chet is really useless. Who says he’s treating Park good and protects him are absolutely blind imo. All that he does is give him suicidal missions like to shoot Pheem in a kids playground (that absolutely destroyed my brain, poor kids) or is unable to protect him from the dad. Trash.

Than chose his poison and I agree with his choice. His toxic honey is a snack and smart af. Plus no one forces him to stay this time so if he’s okay with this possessive behavior then it’s not for me to judge lol

it’s opinions like that make me happy that I always decide to watch everything for myself, bc what kind of a crazyass statement is this? Pheem is nowhere even close to Vegas lmao in what universe Pheem would violently torture or r@ped Than? Ppl have insane toxic scale perceptions. I’m just a bit shocked lol

it’s like I know everyone have their own perception while watching, but this is getting borderline nuts 🤯

point is always watch everything yourself bc maybe for someone “Cinderella” is a thriller lol it’s to this extent opinions vary these days apparently

I was just joking tbh, but even if talking seriously I don’t think Pheem can be compared to Chet and Risa. They all were born from the same dad, yet Pheem was a literal angel in childhood who they abused. Does it make everything Pheem does okay just bc he was avenging his mom? No, but at least we have a valid reasoning for his actions and he can be understood, since he’s punishing bad people who law forces can’t punish. Chet and Risa are just plain thirsty for money and power assholes.

Than doesn’t seem to me as a person who can’t take actions for his life decisions. The most interesting and funny part of his character is that he knows very well that Pheem is a manipulator and a killer, yet decided to date him anyways voluntarily. It’s not a regular victim situation also, otherwise it all would be boring imo

No offense to Chet fans, but man has zero brain cells, his whole life depends on Park, if he treated him badly, he would be already overdosed and dead and he knows it. He has zero plans, zero skills, all he does is gets high and yells, I honestly do not know what Park is even there for except for wiping his ass (unless he’s into toddlers). Making him kill innocent ppl so he wouldn’t get his own hands dirty is not in any way a better treatment, but to each their own I think.

Pheem does everything illegal himself, he never got Than close to this shit. And he makes him baths and cook for him. Chet is out 🤣

Sadly approaching him openly wouldn’t work at all since SSY is very prideful and very… alpha. He’d never start a relationship with HY if he didn’t pretend to be an omega. So it’s all very complicated. It’s kinda very hard when you know that you had no chance as real you from the start, since he wanted to be higher dominant over the already extremely high dominant

I wouldn’t call SSY a food. He’s more of a food, water, air and basically his whole life for him, he’s like super extra. Yandere with capital everything lol But it’s true that he adores challenge, he def needs it. there were many points at times where everything can be much easier and faster but then it wouldn’t be fun and satisfying for him

Yeah he does force himself on him in the novel and he can. he does struggle tho bc he also wants to please SSY but also wants to be on top of him so it’s all a mix of wild emotions from him always.

I think one quote from him that will help you understand him better is “life is a game”. His main goal is ofc SSY’s being utterly and fully his, but he likes to play and win, so things he do are not the “all the right steps for the goal”, he likes the process and obstacles and creating the fun for himself. He is truly a lunatic and the more extreme emotions he gets the more satisfying it is for him, but only if he gets what he wants at the end.

So obviously for normal ppl who just seek the easy ways to reach their goals it’s not possible to understand tf he’s doing lol Bc usually the answer is bc he wanted to and in his head there’s already some epic theatrical performance and partially why he’s so obsessed with SSY is bc he’s a huge challenge

I just remembered after SWL’s “MAYBE you’ll survive???!” in the last ep about Hua Yong and his suicidal-for-love tendencies in the book, which are yet another gem from him
