it’s okay, we can have different opinions. HSF was based on already very famous fictional ship and yes chemistry plays a big role too, but the story does the most part, in Korean version everyone shipped it hardcore too not only bc of chemistry but bc of the story of relationship of the two characters. original stories that are written specifically to cater the “soulmates borderline BL” for a specific set CP is already a purposefully consciously done thing, I didn’t mean to make it sound too harsh, I meant “you” in general, not specifically you trying to fool me lol. I feel like you just love them a lot and let them fool you a bit with this.

Of course it’s good to have two actors having great chemistry when they’re playing together. It’s a gift. But you’re really trying to pretend like it all accidental which is again funny. As if they’re acting in just hetero shows and just happen to have chemistry. No, they’re acting in a shows that were written specifically for ppl to focus on you know what. No need to lie to yourself. Wanting money is not a crime. And their chemistry is indeed great. GMM won’t give such money to BLs anyways so these two are kinda giving us a favour in some aspect. It’s still funny tho if you look at this situation sober

I actually truly was talking about the characters, that all of their projects premises are “BL pairings that you can’t call BL pairing” even tho the show heavily purposefully leans in this direction. I know you might try to make a fool of me and say “it’s all in your head and your problem” and I ofc not gonna say anything until I’ve seen all these shows till the end (I’m only talking about premises for now), but watching and reading many BLs, bromances, censored BLs etc etc I can safely say I know where the creators do things on purpose and when it’s in my head. It’s pretty clear that projects for me these two will lean into that “connected souls by fate” territory with lots of what we call “fanservice scenes” of epic soul connection 🤣 and no matter what you say imo actors too know very well what exact projects they’re participating in. it’s ofc easier to say “you all are just fujioshis you don’t see pure friendships on screen anymore”. I swear my vision is normal and my brain is still clear. All these comments about “you don’t get it, it’s not a bromance and it’s not a BL” from all around whether it’s fans or actors is and will be hilarious to see

I only ship fictional characters, I don’t ship actors, so I don’t have such problem, I think you’re confusing what I’m saying with this particular fandom problems. I was merely talking about the fact that GMM needs to let one of their BL CPs do a high quality supernatural BL. I don’t care who or what pairing, just two people who are ready to do BL

Yeah yeah I know this scheme better than anyone, trust me, I’ve been in this sphere too much and know too much about how it works. Yet there are GMM BL ships who can easily get all these sponsors and atp can attract whoever they want. Problem is that GMM just doesn’t want to spend these money on BLs even when the pairing can get it. They prefer making a dull cheap one bc it will get money bc of CP so “wasting” money on that is pointless in their opinion. And no one will change my mind on the fact that this “BL pairing that’s not a BL pairing” thing is a cringefest.

First thing that appears in my head when yaos are mentioned is “Legend of Exorcism” aka one of my fav Chinese BL novels. For those who don’t get who yaos are it’s time to read and watch this legendary creation haha

Not to be a sad hoe, but I fr can’t help but think seeing the incredible CGI and quality of “Midnight Museum” back then & “Wu” right now, why they cannot invest same money and make an actual supernatural BL of such quality. At least just once. Why their “epic bromance” deserves these efforts and these money and BLs aren’t, I will never understand. I always get so sad bc of this. Like you couldn’t slap one of your BL pairings in something supernatural like this with such plot and quality? Bc meanwhile their supernatural BLs look like me doing PowerPoint in 5th grade

The first episode was so good, but I can’t express enough how annoying both fans and antis with this whole thing. The whole weirdass campaign sucks ass imo. This don’t call it a ship, don’t call it a bromance, don’t call it this, don’t call it that, it cannot be called BL or bromance bc it’s a special unique phenomena like a unicorn with a rash on his ass…. I feel like even though I have shitton of bromances that I’ve shipped in my life including Khatha & Dome who I still think are BL (yes idc stfu), I’m not even sure I will be able to ship this one without laughing inside my head about “it’s your problem if you see something more than bromance, they don’t want you to see it”. What a strange fucking concept, I’m so used to everyone being pro shipping epic bromances that this whole situation is kinda no fun. Don’t know who was behind this but all sides are annoying as hell. Wayu after hitting his head in episode one when he first sees Krit says “I fell in love with a cop on the night I was about to sell myself”. And since page one he hasn’t backed down from this statement 🤣 that was for life for him. Krit denies love at first sight, but he tbh is not much better, even tho he tries to fight it at first it’s a lost cause, he already in ep1 texting him like a good husband that he is that he arrived home safely and in ep3 already agrees to take him home with a kid lol They also both want each other badly from the very beginning and constantly thinking about it. But they won’t get together for a while, Krit in the book even says “sorry for making you wait for so long”, so I doubt they’ll jump eo here fast either, they’ll most likely be torturing us with lots of UST many episodes.

So far even a rock understands that they wanna bang but they’re just heavily flirting and agreeing to everything the other asks for no particular reason 🤣

So it depends on what kind of slow burn you like. If you’re talking about gradually building up feelings then probably no, bc Wayu says that it’s love at first sight and it’s definitely instant want in between. But if you’re talking about long way to getting together with a lot of teasing each other then mostly likely yes, it’s for you ❤️

Haha I know, I get you, I also love me some dom!bottom and sub top, I adore PalmNueng and ThanPeem for that 😌 but can’t do anything with the fact that Wayu loves Krit’s dick in his ass 🤣 (at least in the book idk I feel like here it’s gonna be same). I think uppoom and poomup would be incredible in any way, but when it comes to Krit & Wayu, Wayu is like Shane Hollander, he loves to be fucked too much, by authority kink he meant that he really enjoys Krit manhandling him and banging him into oblivion. He says that he likes when Krit is dominating and takes control in his hands, tying him up and babying him. He also is a giant clingy precious baby and likes when Krit praises him (I think it’s already noticeable when he’s constantly asking for praises even in the first episodes already) So in the novel it’s actually Krit who is a service top, he loves to please his baby badly, he’s mostly loving soft dom, but when he’s jealous Wayu said that he scares him but in a good way. That’s how they both love it and in their case I felt like they just love this too much to switch lol and I feel like Wayu really needs it bc no one ever took care of him 🥲

oh come on, 6 ongoing series is not that much, it’s only 6 hours per week, you need at least 7 for every day of the week 😌 I’m the opposite, I run to read everything first, but I gotta admit many Thai novels aren’t worth the time, but Love of Silom and GBYFTD I loved, they both got me even more excited for the pairings ❤️

You love Thup/Singha and Arthit/Dao and now you’re here with Krit/Wayu, you clearly have amazing taste just like me 🤣😘 Screaming, you need to read GBYFTD, just one shower scene where Thup eats him out already worth everything 🔥🌚😌 and when Singha got jealous of a guy flirting with Thup in the precinct and kissed the shit out of him and yelled at everyone that he’s his boyfriend his his haha but the ring extra is also everything, remember when in the last ep Singha said that Thup lost his ring, in the novel Thup got hit by a car and the ring fell off and he couldn’t find it, so when ambulance arrived he refused to go and all bloodied was searching for that ring, this dude is something else I swear 🤣😭 their family life deserves a whole other show istg, I would deeply regret not knowing all that 🫠 but all of the extra chapters are just them banging non-stop, so much that they just ruined the whole house 🙂‍↔️

And yeeees, we get each other, when you have both sources it’s much more fun to watch, plus sometimes they throw in some Easter eggs from novels that I probably wouldn’t pay that much attention to while watching, so it’s fun yell “I know what was this about” 🤣 And description of the feelings are my absolute fav, especially for characters who have poker faces but then inside there’s two pages of pure tsunami of feelings haha and I hope they will do Krit/Wayu justice in all aspects ❤️

they’re so hot and sweet and spicy, absolutely gone for each other, quotes “I’m just as crazy about you” and “just because you said I love you first doesn’t mean you love me more” and “I love everything about you” and “I’ll only remove the handcuffs once you’ll satisfy me” just 1% of quotes haha

I totally fell in love with their love. Freak match is 100/10, mutual passion is 100/10 👌💯😌 I was surprised in a greatest way ❤️

Wayu says “there is not one single thing Krit can be criticised for except for the fact that he’s insanely jealous and possessive”, but then he says he loves it the most bc he’s same 🤣

In the novel when these two thirsties finally get to have each other, there is a convo where Wayu tells Krit “I imagined doing this with you too many times” and Krit replies with “You think you’re the only one imagining things?” and by their mutual thoughts and thirsts for each other you actually can’t tell whose imagination this scene might be. Although from Wayu’s dream about them almost kissing on the 'battlefield’ in his dream maybe it’s him 🤣

So far I didn’t like how they made the first episode too foolish compared to the novel, but since episode 2 everything is better than the novel actually. I do recommend reading bc you can read Krit’s thoughts there and even though Up is extremely good at even silently portraying those (it’s really funny how can say all that without saying it lol), but it’s even more entertaining when you read about him being completely lost at what to do with those feelings haha

I think it’s kinda like Goddess Bless You From Death novel vs series for me. Both are good and complementing each other. Most moments are better in the series, but in the novel you can read some moments that weren’t in the series which give the characters more taste. Like they only mentioned in the series that Thup lost his ring, but the whole story of him trying to die for that ring was so epicly famous in the novel, that if you know that moment in the series you’re watching completely different ❤️

For example like I’ve written below they cut the scene where Wayu cries on Krit’s shoulder and Krit has a whole internal tragedy happening inside him that is described while he’s holding him that sadly is not in the series. But in the novel Wayu doesn’t ask him to take him home (even tho Krit would 100% take them), instead Tai offers him a place to live. In that aspect I of course prefer series version. Combined version of both in my head is even better.

Their first time and confession and them arguing who loves each other the most is absolutely cannot miss in the novel imo. Gonna be extremely sad if they change that, but then again I remember saying that I will cry if they change the way Singha agrees to be Thup’s boyfriend, but then the scene in the series was even better. Both versions are so them and the characters stay intact. So you never know.

Sorry for the rant, conclusion is imo best is when you watched and read, the picture just becomes much wider and more colorful. Like I doubt they will skip the kinky scenes but what if they do and you will never find out how freaky and possessive mr hot policemen is. Then it’s gonna be a miss on your side. Plus you can read all the developing feelings from both sides from their point of views. I think you’d rather miss out on stuff if you haven’t. I know sometimes some Thai novels even has nothing to do with the adaptation. But in some cases like here and GBYFD I feel like combined view becomes even better. At least how it feels so far. Series gives more to the novel in some aspects, while novel gives something more to the series in some aspects.

My Stand In is a masterpiece. But only if you can handle toxics.

Krit loves carrying Wayu a lot, so at first I thought they’re gonna cut it bc damn, that’s a lot of muscles to carry 🙂‍↔️, but then I saw a future scene of Wayu jumping on Krit koala style when he picks him up at university and Krit effortlessly catching him and I’m 🫠 I already wanna skip to happy Krit’s baby-Wayu badly 😭 and I’m so happy they changed it from the novel and Krit took them home instantly, that’s so much better 😌 sad tho that they didn’t include Wayu crying on Krit’s shoulder, Krit had a whole existential crisis about that 🤣 I know they cut the full scene of Poom crying bc nobody would handle it 😭

I feel like I’m gonna be extra crazy about them, their dynamics and relationships are so hot and incredible at the same time. And Singto doesn’t know yet, but he’s got the coolest dads 🥺
