There is no ageless makeup. It's called a CGI beauty filter. Apparently producers of TV dramas think you CANNOT…
This is a menace in C-dramas. Even when the casts aren't supposed to be flawless, they show them flawless. Takes away a lot from the overall production quality. Even the government approved dramas that is discussing real issues, suffer from these as well. It sometimes feel like the Chinese as scared to look at their real faces. Even phone camera automatically filters you, you don't even need to turn on the filter yourself 🤣.
I can't believe that 3 seasons in and this show is still waxing strong. Loved it as usual. Can't wait for Season 4. Kudos to the cast and crew for delivering steady quality entertainment.
I really want to visit there. In every episode I feel speechless about the beauty of nature
Me too! This was how I felt when I watched the US TV series "the white lotus" that was shot in Sicily. I was so mesmerised by the locations that I went there for summer holidays 🤣 and indeed, it was an absolutely beautiful place. I am sure that's how Guizhou will be when I go 😊
2 episodes in and I must say, this is my first time watching this type of theme in a C-drama. I couldn’t get past Ep. 1 of 3 Body and the other one that had the young guy and robot-like school girl (forgot the name).
This show, like Sword and Beloved, started out great and then mid-way, went downhill, sticking to cliches and lack of logic. Finished it (in fast forward mode) because I have invested time and wanted to see how they ended it. Phew 😮💨.
This show started out great, then it had several unnecessary plots and characters to elongate the show, before returning back to its purpose and finishing the story. Overall, I preferred Love in Pavillon slightly.
OMG! This show was everything (secretly even enjoyed it a bit better than The Blood of Youth 🙈). I feel so bad it has ended. The other shows are not enough to fill the gap it left. Maybe I should rewatch the blood of youth 🤭 or they can release the season two now 🤣.
I love the idea of true friendship portrayed here and the yearning was done between Su Muyu and Bai Hehuai.
I am also glad I stuck around to watch the post credit reunion scene 😃. Their smile to each other was beautiful to see.
I love how they used the some of the main actors from The Blood of Youth as the younger versions of younger characters in this drama. I must say, out of all the airing dramas I’m following, the Blood River is my best one. It’s the first I watch everyday 😃.
Kudos to the cast and crew for delivering steady quality entertainment.
Can’t wait to see how this goes further.

I’m already sad it’s about to end.
