How did they write Zang Hai so horrible. I mean he spent 10 years training to be a strategist to infiltrate and avenge his parents. Yet, everyone has seen through and out bested him. The 2nd master, the lady of the tavern, even the Duke himself. I can’t even hide his real identity. I’m confused. It’s too early to be failing so badly.
Don't worry, we will get 2eps/day from May 23-26.But May 27-29, we will only get 1ep/day.May 30 - June 1, there's…
No ohh! I don’t think I can survive the 3 days break. I need something to cope. I wish I can hold off and watch the coming episodes slowly, but I know I won’t be able to. I mean, everyday my eye is on the clock waiting for 12:00 noon (the time new episodes come out in my side) so I can watch immediately. 😭😭😭

The fortune teller mentioned about someone who will be an asset to the General and the General will meet this person by a sign (which I guess will be played out by ZH).
Episode 6 cliffhanger 🥲🥲Can’t wait to see how he manages to get out of that situation.
It’s already planned. He planned it with his master, the one who pretended to be a blind fortune teller. The solution is in the foretold fortune. However, I’m curious to see how he will execute this plan.
I wanted a drama that I could watch in between waiting for new episodes of Prisoner of Beauty. This wasn’t bad. Now, I’ve finished it and need to find a new one. 🙈.
The problem is I guess difficult to steer away from the political backdrop. It's too over-bearing that anything…
True. But that’s also because they go into it as a political history, instead of an entertainment show. A political show can also be interesting. E.g. the many world war films that are still entertaining to watch. If you remove entertainment it will feel like a documentary. I guess they’ve not learnt to find the balance.
The thing about Chinese Republican era drama is that it could be a bore to watch, even though the story is interesting. It often lacks an entertainment component and feels more like a history show 🤭.
Sis, I totally get what you mean, but like — what do you want him to do? Grow a third eye and two horns? 😂…
It's so well described. But he was different in that drama where he played a younger lover to Liu Tao (Be Your Own Light). I do like his look though, quite manly.
OMG! This show is so sensibly written. I love it! Its humorous undertone makes it a delight to watch. All characters are amazing. I hope it keeps this pace.
Da Qiao is older. Da means big and Xiao means little. Their names are basically Big Qiao and Little Qiao.
Because she already had someone she loved while the younger sister didn't. In the scene where she was convincing her to leave, she mentioned this. She said, even though she liked the other guy as a child (the one she was supposed to marry and ended up being a terrible guy), she doesn't really feel that way about him anymore. The older cousin-sister, loves Bichi and instead of sacrificing her love, she the younger sister can as well do it.
