Title We Are
I finally watched this and loved every episode. I started it for PondPhuwin and Aou and Boom, but everyone was wonderful. It's really rare to see a series that's mostly drama free and has an awesome/supportive friend group. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a sweet, lighthearted, funny and uncomplicated series filled with lovely couples. Of all of the series directed by P'New this one is probably my favorite because all of the characters were likeable and interesting.
On Sashes and Hearts Mar 17, 2025
I usually power through Oxin Films series, but I've got to drop this one. It feels like all of the pageant participants are being exploited. Not just the characters, but the actors playing them irl. It just feels uncomfortable/creepy watching these mostly amateur actors trying to deliver this terrible dialogue, half naked while being stared at and touched by all the older people including Xion who are on camera.

The bits of story aren't worth seeing/listening to the mother, sister, evil manager and Xion taking up sooooooooo much screen time. My brain can't allow me to sit through any more lines like, "my a** hole is tighter than your nostrils". I wish all of the actors playing the pageant characters luck in whatever they do next. I hope they were paid well enough for this series and not forced to do anything they didn't want to do. But I can't sit through a series where I'm constantly asking myself what exactly these guys had to do to get these roles. So I give up.
On Ohm Pawat Chittsawangdee Mar 16, 2025
In spite of set backs, real fans will continue to support Ohm no matter where his career goes next. His talent is undeniable. I can only hope that whatever happens next, he continues to receive love and kindness from those around him.
On Only Friends: Dream On Mar 16, 2025
I'm happy for Aou and Boom. They are great together, but honestly I'm heartbroken. This was Ohm's series and to see it get snatched away without a legit reason/explanation from GMMTV feels so wrong. Ohm and Leng deserve so much better than what is happening to them. I bet the toxic "fans" are happy, because misery loves company. And the miserable people who have been harassing Ohm, Nanon and Leng for a long time have contributed to derailing multiple people's careers. Sometimes BL fandom really disgusts me!

Title Ossan's Love Thailand Spoiler
Exactly! IMO Mo is the problem, but BL writers often insist on labeling the uke as the vicitm no matter what.…
Since Mo lied about the fake girlfriend, personally I don't see why Heng should apologize for it. But I also don't get what I want, so I'm just waiting to see how it plays out in the final episodes.
On ThamePo Heart That Skips a Beat Mar 15, 2025
I watched it and was underwhelmed the entire time. I really like Lego, everyone else fine. The chemistry between Est and William was no better or worse than other ships, but the story felt pretty generic. They just replaced college with Tpop and study aboard with go work in Korea. The stuff about the toxic fans and the unrealistic expectations they have of idols, was the best part of the series for me.

I won't remember this in a few days, but I'm glad people enjoyed it.

If Heng never apologizes or begs Mo to get back with him over the next 2 episodes, that would be wonderful. But Thai BLs frequently use the trope of the seme pursuing the uke no matter what, so I won't be surprised if Heng does apologize. Either way, we can only speculate on what will happen.

No I meant what I wrote. Heng will chase after Mo. Mo will try to keep Heng and the boss apart. And the two of them will live happily ever after. I think that's the last 2 episodes in a nutshell.
On Ossan's Love Thailand Mar 12, 2025
Because EarthMix will always be my OTP and my favorite GMMTV ship, I will keep trying to find a positive in each episode. So despite my frustrations with the second half of the episode and Mo continuing to completely dictate every aspect of their relationship based on his whims, I did think Earth's baby pictures and the call outs to other GMMTV actors they're close with
/previous roles was sweet.

Did they actually make reference to JIMMY, SEA, MARK, KHOUKANG & OHM at the host club?!😂😂The sadistic intro…
Exactly! IMO Mo is the problem, but BL writers often insist on labeling the uke as the vicitm no matter what. I fully expect Heng to apologize and Mo to never apologize for anything.

It is a shame as there is good production value overall so they have funds. But the continued bad/over acting…
I completely agree. Shorter more focused series would result in a better product. And allow them to save money to be used to improve. I watch all of the Oxin Film series, I also REALLY want the quality of them to be better than they are.

There are so many aspects of Oxin films that are decent. IMO the biggest problems are the consistently terrible scripts and too much focus on side characters. Idk many people watch BL to see the sister, mom, manager, neighbor or whoever they decide to use to pad the runtime in each series. These people are fine, but also destract from the romance. Especially when their acting isn't solid.

i have stopped watching shows on the basis of MDL rating now
MDL's ratings have been unreliable for a lot of series for a long time. I read comments to get an idea if I might like a series and then judge series for myself in the first episode.

It's from the same production company as Crazy Handsome Rich and OMG Vampire, so not too surprising that they…
That makes sense. I didn't bother to check if it was the same company. Thanks for letting me know.

Most age groups rate it well below 7. MDL's rating algorithm is a mystery.
Definitely a mystery
On Sashes and Hearts Mar 7, 2025
It feels like the MDL rating for this series has been inflated. This is no better or worse than any other Oxin series and they were all pretty bad. Rainbow Prince is the highest rated at 7.6. So 7.9 for this series feels as fake as all of the older characters in this series when they deliver their lines.

At the end of the day when loud side characters take up most of the screen time, it's impossible to create a good BL. Especially when the writing is subpar. I'll stick with it though because I suffer through all Oxin series, but please don't watch this expecting a quality series!
On Last Meal Universe Mar 7, 2025
I try to give series from smaller companies a chance, but this is giving me Crazy Handsome Rich vibes and that is the worst BL I've ever seen. I watched this until they repeated "coffee" a few dozen times then I gave up. It hope it gets better, but it's not for me.
On Checkered Shirt Mar 7, 2025
I watched the first 4 episodes but don't feel motivated to continue. Nothing is pulling me in. Not the story, acting or the direction. It's not bad, it just is. But if you like the vibe of the first episode, you'll probably like the series.
On Heart Stain Mar 6, 2025
Title Heart Stain
I've seen a lot of KBLs made from webtoons. But I can't recall any of those series being better than the original webtoon. Heart Stain continues that tradition. This series was fine in the beginning, but got progressively less entertaining as it went on. The characters in the webtoon were all more developed than in the series.

For me, Doha is the reason I'm giving this a very low score. From the beginning he manipulated U Hyeon, toyed with his feelings and then tossed him aside as soon U Hyeon started to love him. And he left and came back as if literally years hadn't passed. He always played the victim and the script treated him like he was one. With U Hyeon always apologizing, always feeling like he'd hurt Doha and waiting for Doha to come around every single time. I don't recall Doha ever apologizing for his actions, even though most of the problems were caused by him.

Without "study aboard", this story would have been pretty subpar, but study aboard took a bad story and made it much worse. No matter what age you are, imagine how you were FOUR years ago and now imagine how different your life will be in FOUR years. In either scenario, you'll almost always be different than you are now. But "study aboard" is the magic potion that allows the main characters to remain in stasis for months or years, never growing, changing or falling in love with someone else. It's absolutely ridiculous and becomes more irritating each time it happens in a series.

If you think every time two guys are on camera together it's "cute" and that's enough to satisfy you, you might enjoy this series. For anyone else, I don't recommend it.

WTF was that? Why bother? I don’t know why I was expecting more. Took my 7 down to a 6 because of my disappointment…
It's not just you. That smile felt so fake that it took me out of the scene everytime he did it. And the crying from him and the actor playing YuXing wasn't much better. The acting and directing in this series weren't great. But neither was the script.
