I’m on ep. 35 now… for those who have finished the show… is this a HE for Hong Ye & Xiao Yao?

Tbh… he’s been stiff as a board with the acting and looked borderline serial killer-esque in the latest episode. I think episode 30 is the most intense and animated he’s been in the entire show. He gets a bit physical (gripping her wrist and dragging her a bit) and tries to turn the tables on her when she wants nothing to do with him anymore. It did give me a bit of a laugh because it was so out of character for him. I think this is the last that we’ll see of him though, it felt like his chapter finally came to a close.

Yes, Zhuang Xu is the SML. Every time you think his arc is over, he pops back up again.

I’m 3/4 of the way through ep 30 and I am equal parts baffled and annoyed by Xhuang Xu; just when I thought his appearances and that of the annoying college friends was over, they pop back up again. I cannot get over the audacity of this man and the fact that he chases her, physically assaults her and then goes on a verbal tirade against her… the guy is reminding me so much of Xi Guang’s father— a complete loser with a massive inferior to complex!

I can’t wait to see how he plays a human… from the trailer, he looks pretty formidable!

I’m loving it so far. I didn’t mind the spoiler tbh as I did ask someone to spoil me about YX and N’an and if they were reincarnated or not. It doesn’t take away any sort of excitement for me as I haven’t actually seen how him being human played out yet.

no, I meant someone told me way before this trailer came out that there were rumours going around that Hong Ye was originally human.

The previews for episodes 33-35 are filling me with so much dread but at the same time whoever told me that Hong Ye was originally human, was right on the money with that one!! I cannot wait to see their past from 10,000 ya, but also can the 3 brothers please go away and let our Xiao Yao and Hong Ye be together in peace?!? I was so annoyed by the piece of the mirror showing up and the kiss scene was also lacking…but I am so excited to see how this all plays out!

the kissing is very minimal – there’s been 3/4 kisses so far as of ep 32. and they’re very much barely touching lips, eyes wide open kinda kisses. buuut I will say their chemistry is very sweet.

Xiao Yao and Princess Ning’an are the same person. She doesn’t realise this until episode 29/30….

I was thinking she had to be Ning'an reincarnated. I've been curious about her life as a princess and how she met Hong Ye.

Tbh... this would really elevate the plot and keep me watching!
