I had it on. you list for months and started on a whim a few weeks back. I had to be in the mood for a youth drama tbh and this ended up being one of my favorite modern Cdramas ever.

Usually I would binge a 36 ep Cdrama, but this one took me almost a two weeks to complete due to the amount of emotional turmoil Li Xun and Zhu Yun had me in. I have never watched a modern Cdrama that has made me feel equal parts anguish and happiness before. There were times i had to stop watching it as i just couldnt take Li Xun's cruelty. I think Chen Feiyu has a very long and successful career ahead of him— he played Li Xun's character with such precision; he was a determined and often times harsh character, who felt deeply but thought it was a weakness to show it until his princess showed up. The friendships and found family aspect of this show was also another highlight for me; I loved the relationship between Li Xun and Gao Jing Hong... the love they had for each other and how one's ambition and jealousy ended up nearly killing him was a very interesting aspect to explore in a youth drama like this. Overall, I think this is one, if not the best modern Cdramas I have seen so far and it will definitely be in my top 10 going forward. An unforgettable show that will stay with me for life!

can someone let me know if Yu Tu’s ex becomes a problem or he goes back to her? Ive heard that JingJing is rejected by Yu Tu for a second time? I assume there’s a HE though.

Was anyone else kinda creeped out by Ding Jia Yun’s character? when I first saw him and he drove through the night to see Liang Chen, I thought he was her father, not a love interest! he looks like he keeps his portrait in the attic 😱

I had to give up. The infantalisation of the FL was too much and the voice was disturbing...

I was more frustrated by the length of Tinyang’s amnesia. In the end I forgave this as it all came together quite nicely and the ending was both heartbreaking and beautiful.

Really liked this show. It's perfect if you're coming away from a heavier type of drama...there's very little angst in this; it's very much a soft, loving show and it excelled really well with developing both MLs and how they both came together. The only thing I will say is that I felt it dragged a bit for 28 episodes, I personally think it could've been wrapped in 24. Other than that, an excellent drama that left me with really warm vibes after it ended!

It’s a nicely paced romance but episode 20 took me right out of it with the damn missing person/amnesia trope and the fact that 18 YEARS WENT BY!! that blindsided me and I’m on episode 25 wondering if the FL will ever get her memories back because honestly this is boring now…

unfortunately, this didn’t work out for me. I found the entire show boring and the slow burn romance was non existent. there was 0 chemistry to be found in this.

This show healed me from the trauma of CDramas 🥹

I’m still holding out for the HE and if we don’t get it…. I don’t know how I’ll recover 😱

judging by the comments on this thread today, I’m just gonna wait until the remaining epsidoes are out tomorrow to watch them. I can’t take another break up 😭

Tell me why I got so invested in two very small side character’s story that were only in one episode?? I was actually crying over the Fox Saint and Kunlun Saint and thei ending!! This show has some excellent writing!
