Guys⊠I have an IQIYI sub and have been waiting for Glory to be released on it⊠they have a whole âGloryâ section in the app but itâs filled with TBA shows. I really donât care about the SML. I canât believe 4 episodes were wasted on such a non-backstory between them to be honest. I just need to know if the show gets better now that the ML is involved.
I need to know if this gets better. The first 4 episodes with the SML was like getting blood from a stone. I was losing the will to live watching it. I expected some chemistry between the FL & SML to make it believable but there was nothing between them. Iâm on episode 5 and the ML looks like he wants to murder the FL. Ok. I am on ep 13. Specifically, I am 18 minutes into it and Ko Da Rim is now admitting to something she didnât do. I cannot take anymore lying and misunderstandings! Can someone tell me if this is resolved quickly or does Ji Hyeok has to be emotionally traumatised for the umpteenth time!?!

100% agree with this assessment of the show. They did what most Kdramas fail to do towards the end of a showâ wrap up lose ends and give the viewer a satisfying conclusion, instead of the rush jobs we are used to lately.
It is criminal that this show has had such a mediocre rating. The ending was simply magical and one of the most memorable and satisfying endings for a Khistorical drama this year.
I was loving this but the ending was really underwhelming. Li Wu craved family and Cen Jin knew this and yet you don't see them married with a child like he wanted. If it hadn't been mentioned and it wasn't conveyed to us, I wouldn't have minded it but this was not the case. Otherwise, I loved the sincerity and how they tackled the age gap.

Although, I felt Ms. Linâs end was very abrupt after 28 eps of a build up.
Also, what was with the ending? is Mr. Yanâs grandfather an earth fiend? was the open ending for another season?
I also wouldâve liked to see Luoâs reaction to Xing Shenâs death, considering they were so close at one point.
TBH, I though XS was going to turn out to be a traitor.
I kind of feel like some of the side plots werenât really handled well⊠Locust being handed off to biologists seems completely insane considering nobody but the SMH knows about earth fiends⊠Yan Tuoâs sister and the mystery behind her was that Ms. Lin just⊠killed her?
I would love a season 2 to really close up the loose ends though.
I am liking this so far. Finished ep 3 and loving the tension between the FL & ML too. I will say you have to be in the right type of mood to watch this show as it can be slow.
I don't get the rating and the complaints at all?? I haven't laughed this much since BAYM! Loving the role swaps, both actors really embody each other's characters. I'm absolutely hooked on. this show!
