did ye ying commited suicide???
that’s what I want to know! I think it’s a bit far fetched though. maybe YeLi arranged for it to look that way?

Yes, that’s what I was thinking too! it’s gonna be torture waiting another week to get the ending!!

really? I thought the pacing was quite good so far. these last episodes have shown that the ML is basically gone for the FL and after healing his legs, how could he not kiss her?

Title The First Jasmine Spoiler
I binged the first 10 episodes and immediately bought the express package with no qualms. Ep 14 left me on the edge of my seat and the next episodes look action packed! I need MX to make up with YL immediately!!! I felt so bad for her after he confronted her! she has suffered enough, she doesn’t need her husband against her too 😭 although from the previews, his anger won’t last long 😅I devoured POJ and declared it my favourite of the year, but I am thinking that by the time Mo Li is over, the show will be my favourite of 2026! it’s just such a raw and natural story with none of the flashy editing that idol dramas usually have. it’s a breath of fresh air!

I started this when it aired and got to episode 8. I was loving the cinematography, the casting is immaculate, but I am kinda confused on the story tbh. I didn’t watch the related shows either so maybe that’s where I’m missing key information, but can anyone tell me if this ends well? I just don’t want to waste my time if it’s a BE.

I have a question: I started this for both leads as they’re great in whatever shows they’re in, so watching LBTG was a no brainer. Having said that, I got bored around episode 20 and felt that the plot slowed down a good bit. Does the story pick up again, pace-wise? do He Si Mu & Duan Xu get a HE or is it OE? I really want to jump back in but need some encouragement 😅

The time in the void was just way too long. There were some development, but it was kinda pointless. Drama went…
this is how I’m feeling right now. from ep 18/19 to present, I have been bored witless watching it. the excitement at the start of the show has not carried through to the present, it feels like something is missing. it sucks because I love both CF & DD.

I came here from Pursuit of Jade— I loved Deng Kai’s character in POJ and was looking to watch him in another drama and came across LOTDT. What a stunning surprise this was!

This was such a beautiful show; it had everything I wanted in a Xiania— impossible love, odds, & fate. It gave me a bit of enemies to lovers, found family, fighting against a greater evil, second chance at life, a beautiful, happy ending that really made all the hardships and sadness worth it in the end.

Needless to say, I will now be following Deng Wei & Deng Kai’s progression as they take on more lead roles in the future; they both acted their asses off in this.

Title Pursuit of Jade Spoiler
It was a solid 9/10 for me. I loved loved loved XZ & FC’s unwavering love and devotion to each other and their romance scenes were some of the best I’ve seen in a CDrama for a long time.

Having said that, there were a few things that I found a bit odd— the mother’s hair pin… I thought it would lead to the revelation of who FC’s mother and subsequently, who her grandfather was. Having read the novel, I think I had a higher expectation given who the Director was.

The odd scenes where something significant would happen between the main leads (or to them separately) and there would be no follow up scene, it would simply cut to something else entirely.

The last few episodes were also rushed for me; in particular, the fight scene between XZ and WY was so underwhelming and FC just disappeared until it was all over.

The romance build up for the Princess and the advisor went nowhere and I really would’ve liked to see a HE of some sort for them.

QM and QQ’s relationship was one of the best things about this show and how it all ended had me in tears— I think the writers did a fantastic job with these two characters, the depth of their personalities and emotions were unmatched for me.

Overall, I loved the drama for what it was and I do think if they had the freedom to give us more than 40 episodes, we could’ve possibly gotten one of the best CDramas in recent years, like the old days.

Title The Oath of Love Spoiler
I struggled to give this a rating of 8/10 primarily because of the leads and the dreaded misunderstandings trope.

The FL’s immaturity was too overt to the point that her outbursts reminded me of a toddler having a tantrum. The ML fell down for me in his lack of communication… I understand he had a certain upbringing that would reflect this, but every time he had a chance to improve and learn from the consequences… he didn’t.

I thought the father/daughter relationship to be the best in regards to a very harsh/strict parent, always bringing the child down, but in actual fact it was out of fear for his child’s future etc… quite emotional. In the end, his ill health actually helped them to grow in their relationship and understand the other so much more.

The romance end of things wasn’t great.. I didn’t feel like the leads had that much chemistry; I felt that XZ really poured his heart into Gu Wei, but YZ’s acting was just not doing it for me.

The overall theme and message of the show was very genuine and heartfelt and the last few episodes, although sad, really left you with a sense of hope in the face of grief.
