I don't even know how I feel about the end of this one. It just felt like it was missing something and I can't quite place my hands on it. The fun parts were really fun and the serious part was way too serious for this kind of project, in my opinion. I went into this with a mindset that it is a fluffy romcom with a dash of explicit content. Finally, can someone please tell me what the point of the modern scene is, I don't get it. Did they want us to imagine she fell in love with the Jang Won as opposed to Choi Hwan? or that everyone from the past will eventually run into each other at some point in the present? Because I saw familiar faces.... ouffff. I don't like feeling like this for a drama
I couldn't drop this drama. Someone please tell me they have started to film season 2 with the same cast of course. Or is this the go-and- read-the-novel-yourself-to-know-what-happens-next kinda drama? Please not! Anyway, I am a bit satisfied with the ending even when I know this is far from over but at least I know the cliffhanger wont give me sleepless nights thinking about "what next?"
Loved this so much. It ended perfectly and I am even greedy for a prologue even when I know it's really not necessary. I wanted more interactions between the brothers-in-law. They are too chaotic trying to match the Li sisters wit. And I really enjoyed the OST too but I can't find it anywhere. Shazam didn't come through this time.
He was amazing! I didn't and couldn't even hate or dislike him at all throughout the whole show.
Me too. I totally understood that why he did it. Now did he go about it the right way? Errrrrrr, it could have been better. But his cause was stemmed from caring for his "co-worker". And I feel like another reason he didn't go about it the right way was because he doesn't have one sentimental bone in his body in the first place. So call me biased, I totally agree, I see grey.
And let’s not forget A'Bao, she was too cute! Honestly, I wanted to stuff her in my purse and carry her around. Her charm and innocence brought such a lighthearted, adorable element to the drama that I couldn't get enough of.
Now that I have reached the end of the series, I can't help but feel a bit sad. Wang Dou's acting was truly outstanding. His portrayal of both Nan Xuyue and Tian Mìngshu left me in awe. I’m completely captivated by his elegance, and I’m definitely a fan now.
My favorite thing about this show is Wang Duo's smile. I don't know, there is something about that smile that makes me melt and smile because he smiled. I know he is the main antagonist and all of that but his smile makes me forget about it. Ps- I am only half way done, I haven't seen him at his worst.... yet. What's a few manipulations here and there a "Wang Dou's gorgeous smile" can't fix.
I don't even understand her brothers at this point. She is fighting really hard to protect her family but it feels like they are in a struggle to die criminals. They really want their enemy's to mock them. Total idiots. All they have gathered over the years can help them live lavishly so why must they complicate things.
Ok, so I get powerful families are the potential ruin of a kingdom and all of that but I feel like if the king wanted so badly to get rid of the powerful families like that was his whole MO, What was the point of him getting together with the queen in the first place and ultimately relying on her family during the revolt? That's just double standards. And now all he paints her out to be is a bad guy. Don't get me wrong, I don't think anyone in this show is a "good guy" maybe the new concubine but she is yet to show her true colors and the two chief court ladies (love them especially the bubbly one). All I am saying is merits and demits should be handed out accordingly.
Absolutely loved this one. The last bit of the drama was like a warm hug from my big sister.
Speaking of which, did the last part with the little girl and the story teller mean that there will be a sequel to this story? I won’t mind that at all.
I'm sorry, I still don't believe sexy assistant is this culprit. At the end of episode 6. We see black cuffs. But it wasn't only park do Jae who had black cuffs. The new male interpreter had too.

I see what you mean now, my comment did not age well at all.
