You are welcome! I'm glad that my comment was helpful and you enjoyed the interview.

You are right, the problem is the script. The reason why I included P'New is that, as far as I know, directors do have a certain decision-making power over all the aspects of the production process. Mame and P'New must have talked about the structure and contents of the series before they started filming. But I could be wrong, of course.

1) Pete's character was not included in this season because there were some conflicts between Saint and either his management team or the production company of LBC (what happened is still unclear, but you can watch Saint's interview here if you're interested: https://m.facebook.com/watch/?v=532564643995006&_rdr). I guess they preferred leaving him out to replacing him with another actor.
2) I haven't read the novel, but the script of LBC2 was written by Mame herself, so the Can we are seeing is just how the author wanted him to be. Playing hard to get and being overconscious has always been part of Can's persona, so I'm not surprised that he is still being emotionally stingy. His being horny isn't strange either: Mame is known for using that as a plot device to advance in the relationships. So, is Can's behaviour unconvincing? Yes, but most of Mame's characters are flat and merely serve as empty cans for the viewers' fantasies. To be honest, the more time passes, the more I'm disgusted by how Mame treats her characters.
3-4) I always say that Mame and P'New have messed up since season 1. They should have focused only on AePete and TinCan instead of adding the other unnecessary couples and giving us a messy and incomplete pastiche of disconnected events and time-consuming fillers. As someone pointed out in the comment section, Pond could have been a great character in this season, but Mame and P'New did him dirty, as well.

I don't know what you think about this, but I hope that my comment has clarified some things at least.

Exactly my thoughts. In the past year I've lowered the rating I originally gave to LBC twice.

I don't support what he did but the director said it was kind of a romantic comedy. Of course, such things don't…
I'm pretty sure it was supposed to have at least some rape undertones knowing MAME, yaoi's overused rape trope and how normalized "rape culture" is in Thai media (I recommend that you read this article about it, if you still haven't: https://undertheropes.com/2016/04/01/rape-culture-in-thailand). Personally, I think that the problem in KlaNo's story isn't only the sex scene; there's also how manipulative Kengkla is and how terrible Technic is as a brother -- or even just as a human being. But I understand your point of view. I also used to ignore rape in BLs and try to enjoy the rest -- that's what I did when I watched Make It Right, for example -- but now I can't do it anymore. I'm just so fed up with this awful "trope"...

I've just binge-watched this series and I really can't understand the negative comments. It was cute and lighthearted, the story was nice, the acting and chemistry were good and the characters were all likeable -- even the debt collectors. I think I enjoyed this more than Where Your Eyes Linger. At least here there were no annoying female characters, crazy fujoshis or typically Korean family dramas. I feel that the overall pace was also better; the ending definitely didn't feel as rushed.

Up to episode six and I can honestly say that I am only really watching this series for Tin and Can. The rest…
As I've already written elsewhere, P'New and MAME's greatest mistake in both LBC and LBC2 was cramming too many stories and characters in one series.
Tum and Tar's presence has indeed always been unnecessary. While I understand why they included Kengkla and Techno's storyline -- Techno is acquainted with Ae and Can afterall -- I find Tar and Tum's addition unjustified. They don't interact with the rest of the cast and the only narrative thread that connects their story to the other characters' is the couple TharnType, which had little to no screentime in both seasons. So yeah, Tar and Tum are there for no reason.

I remember reading a review about the aboundance of shirtless scenes in What's Wrong With Secretary Kim. I'm going to quote it: "I was highly amused that WWWSK served up so much shirtless Park Seo Joon in its initial episodes. In episodes 1 through 3, we get a glimpse of shirtless Park Seo Joon in each episode. This tickled me a great deal. It felt like WWWSK knew it didn’t have a lot of substance, and was trying to distract us with his pecs and abs."

Despite the series being very low-budget and the shots clearly amateurish, I still enjoyed it. The acting is pretty good, the music is nice and the story is cute. Nothing extremely original, but the trigonometry theme is cool.

She is definitely a good writer, otherwise LBC 1 wouldn't have been as popular and the success it was. I think…
I'm a "more mature viewer" and I'm still upset.
I think you're totally missing the point here: the problem in Mame's works is NOT *which* themes she writes about, but *how* she deals with them. As you say, rape and violence exist in this world, but it is one thing to depict and denounce those acts as wrongdoings and quite another to romanticize them and use them as devices to build a relationship and advance in the plot. Rape is never a laughable matter and trivializing it -- or worst, treating it as a romantic act -- is simply not okay.
