That is so sweet :) I was actually really worried to post this as I have almost only seen positive comments on…
We are definitely in the minority, but I've noticed that even those who have rated it highly acknowledge the problems the series clearly has.
Also, this: "that one side couple with the cats is super adorable and so well acted. Their chemistry is really natural and I wish they would have more scenes". I couldn't agree more. They were by far my favourite couple and at a certain point I started looking forward to them alone lol. As you said, their acting was SUPER natural and they had a great chemistry. I still can't get over the scene in the cat shop ><
As you said yourself, despite being biased in the rating, you were very objective in the review. I agree with most of the things you wrote. Good job ^^
I would have prefered to watch the adaptation of Bastard by Carnby, but I'm curious to see how they are going to make Sweet Home. I hope it will be very dark. Also, I wonder who the main character is going to be played by since he should be pretty young.
I don't know what to expect from Amanza since most of it is a sort of dreamy journey in the webtoon. We'll see.
I really want to see him suffer for the rest of his existence, wishing for the sweet release of death without…
"Like the whole 'hubby/wifey' thing makes me very uncomfortable": that's what people call the "heteronormativization of gay relationships". And yeah, that's plain wrong; it makes me uncomfortable, too. A gay male couple is made of two husbands, there is no wife, and that's completely okay and beautiful. I really can't understand why they have to throw heterosexual standards at them. Maybe it's because Thailand is in a phase where they still have to fully embrace the existence of different sexual orientations -- let's not forget that in Thailand homosexuality was declassified as an illness only in 2002. And the same goes for Japan -- the motherland of BLs. But even if heteronormative patterns could help people accept and understand homosexuality more easily, it's still not okay; mainly because that portrayal of gay relationships in media is based on misconceptions that could harm the LGBT community (I recommend that you read this article: https://www.gaystarnews.com/article/this-is-why-its-so-important-to-have-realistic-gay-sex-in-literature).

Totally agree. After they revealed what he had done, I thought the only option was to send him to jail. I'm still shocked by the fact that not only he got away with it, but Thorn even forgave him. But I mean, what was I expecting? The trivialization of rape has always been a problem in Thai series -- both hetero and BL. I hope this will change someday.
I thought I was probably the only person who is a fan of this couple! Unfortunatelly, they are side couple, so…
You are right, they are a side couple, so they are supposed to have only a few scenes in the series, but still... JapanTanthai is a side couple as well, but they are given a good amount of screentime and they are basically ready to sail since it's clear they already like each other, while BlueDew is nowhere to be seen and their relationship is still at stage 0.
