Yeah there are but for some reason, these got it so ... here we are. There is still time to improve the drama if they havent finished filming it.
ML actor needs to quickly start acting better. He has a better script. FL is a decent actor but her script can be a little too .. insecure... but is not too bad... so this drama is definitely doable.

*** This particular pair is actually cute together. I am really getting the vibe of a young pregnant couple and it is VERY cute and endearing. They are really good at it.
So I hope this keeps improving. Ep 1 was sucky, ep 2 and up started getting better and better, so let us keep our fingers crossed.

I explained what I am watching. I can quote you scenes with excellent acting. For example, after they magic travel to his house, and he asks her what was that? and if they can do more? those scenes are HILARIOUS.
Gumiho is super convincing in her gnashing teeth and yelling and revenge and arrogance and selfishness as a nasty fox. She is so ignorant, the scene when she cluelessly told her best friend to kill her husband is a wow scene. She HONESTLY thought it was a good idea.
The scene when he feeds her bc her hand is shaking is an amazing scene where she is already melted and behaving like a girly girl spoiled brat and he is so enjoying pampering her and she LOVES it.

The voice over of Gumiho is very very profound and she acted so well her choice.
I wrote about all these scenes before so I thought you saw them.
Any more scenes I need to remind you of that prove excellent acting?

Oh no!! I am sorry for the misundestanding!!! THIS IS A TOP DRAMA AND HAS GREAT ML-FL TEAMWORK. ML-FL ARE equal in their relationship as two people!!! in this drama, they are not equal by rank and so yes it starts very imbalanced, he is powerful and she is a slave, .... but they progressed ... and are now equal between them.

When I said "equal" I meant THAT. **** No matter what their outside rank, they are equal in their relationship. ****

This drama too is a pretty good example of great teamwork and honest communications. They still lie to each other sometimes but it is not sooo bad. I ASSUMED that :) so thank you for reminding me to say it :)

I would not drop this drama! it is very good! The script is amazing.

It is not perfect LOL there is still sexism and FL acts stupid sometimes so that he can save her. But is not as bad as it could have been :)
In Idol I, there is NONE of any of that, and they are equal by rank too.
In No Tail to Tell, it starts unequal like here, she is powerful and he is at her mercy, but then things level up and they start treating each other equally

Spring Fever and Positively Yours are also pretty good rom coms where the relationship starts uneven - a kind redneck dumbo and a snotty snide city slicker cheabol; an insecure office worker and a CEO that get pregnant by chance - but ... believe it or not, they are working it out somehow... They are pretty solid rom coms with positive messages.

I would stay away from Dynamite Kiss and Can this love be translated, bc they are not equal at all and there is no communication and teamwork at all. Those are real flop dramas imo

I really appreciate the progress in acting of 2ML actor.. he did nasty poker faced villains in those high school fights dramas - was the last one One High School Heroes or Weak Hero season 10004? lol But in this drama he is behaving like a normal person and shows a more complex character with a lot more emotions. Keep on going, one day you make it to ML :)

The ML on this drama is soooo new, he cannot really act... so I wish him to relax and practice some more.
FL is better but not great.

But who cares, right? This is a rom com with all the tropes - the CEO, the insecure poor woman, etc. BUT THE SCRIPT IS DECENT, the CEO is trying to be kind and the loser woman knows she is bsing. THe plot is already moving faster.

I like many of the messages of this drama, it seems positive.

I really appreciate that the CEO is very honest and that the lady is not 100% loser like so many other FLs. This FL is not too bad and seems like is fast becoming better and can be really honest. So ...

It is so cute to see this pregnant couple. They really a great pair of lovebirds. it is very endearing and honestly. S Korea should improve their (globally lowest) birth rates.

FL actress looks like she had plastic surgery with lips and cannot open them properly while talking

they dont really love her :) so they dont feel the urge to come closer, so they are never willing to risk it and fight for her.
They use her for comfort and company, like a nice cozy cushion for themselves. So when their cushy life is taken, they want it back

oh no, you are not... It is official that S Korea is global 14th in alcohol consumption and there are efforts even in S Korea to curb it... like the drama Second Shot at Love, about a female alcoholic rehab - together with alcoholic father and sister - after her lover became clean and sober

Yeah S Korea has a problem with alcohol and it is sometimes addressed now more openly. I think it is one of the things that leads to globally lowest birth rate, so they are trying to get esp women healthier. One famous actor recently made an interview how nobody calls him out bc he doesnt drink. THis drama is trying to address that forced drinking at social events.

So they are trying... But ... it is hard.. did you notice product placements in dramas now, whiskey, etc heavy western liquior? That is REALLY strong and bad for ya.
I would think soju being bitter is not as bad .. And makgouli does not seem as terrible either

Having Jae In in the story is totally fine, the drama needs a villain and he is actually a key villain. The problem is when the audience roots for him and ships him with FL bc he is a hot guy. Bc a hot guy can do whatever he wants, to the point of being cruel. As if being abusive and mean is some kind of turn on. Heck no.

I think ML-FL in Idol I are equals, communicate well and are a great team, and Lomon just started treating the Fox well in No Tail to Tell and they seem to started communicating and being a great team. There is hope :) This drama too is a pretty good example of great teamwork and honest communications. They still lie to each other sometimes but it is not sooo bad.

The mother instinct is NOT to freeze when you see a fire arrow coming to you, but to RUN with that baby to safety. But whatever - let's say she blanked out - which is NOT motherly instinct and NOT something Gil Dong would do...

In any case, I am super tired of scenes where a victim just stands there watching a car or something coming to hit them. it is just a very boring and awful trope and for some "unexplained mysterious reason" happens to female characters and just rarely to males.

Just make the character RUN!!! and if you want the truck or fire arrow to hit them, make the character slip and fall and get caught. Or faint from the shock. Or not run fast enough. Or get distracted with something and lose it. Or get scared and start shivering and just stop. Or whatever else would work... "Paralyzed from the shock" is indeed one legitimate choice, BUT it seems to be THEONLY choice scriptwriters used so far. with very rare escaping, rolling away, or A MAN PULLING THE WOMAN TO THE SIDE TO SAVE HER

If a man is going to be helpful, there is a proper way to do it..... not make a Superman who is superior, smarter, stronger, and overall the guardian, sugar daddy, AND babysitter to the loser dumb child in adult female body. But she is pretty and he gets to fu.k this child and that is why he is protecting her. Common, let us stop this mysogenic brainwash,

Who is the half naked dude being beaten up by the BAD GUY in ep 8 min 8??? is that the killer?? The killer actor is now ML in daily First Man where he is always poker faced. This is the first scene ever where I saw that actor showing emotion and vulnerability. If that is him.

we will see... he needs her help and she is interesting to the drama bc she likes him and tries to grab him, and is experiencing a redemption arc and acting all that quite well and in a very comedic way.... and ... has really nice legs so she is a nice addition to the screen :) so yeah she will be on the screen until the end. Will they fall in love is ... not really important for the drama, imo

I still do not trust she will totally turn a new chapter i.e. I question IF they can even have a relatiinship . We will see :)

But that face "I know something you dont!" is his signature style and he wears THAT face almost 100% of the time in his acting and takes you on a tour of stuff he is exposing - and that is why I am not really his fan. I miss the ACTING

Imo Again my Life has the best villains - judge Cha and the thug Major is INCREDIBLE and I still remember them to this day. WOW script and WOW acting!!!! RESPECT!!! some real SKILLZ!!!

To my Beloved Thief and Incognito Miss Hong keep getting better with each episode, and Idol I is consistently good

I have one-line summary of Jae-In's character:
He is ... hot looking and also angry hot to the point of 1st degree burns.. someone who burns you literally to death. Not someone who warms you up and keeps you warm and vibrantly alive.
