It is a psychological mind game of chess, with deep dives into the characters. There is even growth of characters. The dialogues are often really interesting. Some ppl are just trying to survive, some trying to climb over others, and some trying to live a happy life
There is nothing bombastic here ... it is a more real and organic portrait (that needs better music, better camera, better costuming, and even better acting). I would still rather watch this than Climax or Perfect Crown, precisely bc it is "organic"

yes definitely, Chairmans wife kid was EA's parent, left EA at the park, and had an accident -probably was killed - and never came back. Gyeol's dad was killed by the same people . Seems almost like EH's parent was there for the same reasons as Gyeol's dad. For sure they just left kids in the park while they did business.

JH is such a complex complicated character and really a center of much action, that role is soooooo rich, there is so much nuance. It is sad that the role was given to an inexperienced actor. A better actor would have made it sooo much more interesting.
Acting is not just doing the lines, but adding one's own creativity to make the script alive. One of the most creative actors I have seen is Shopaholic Louis ML. He blew my mind to possibilities in expressive CREATIVE acting. All those facial expressions, body movements, etc are incredible. (and then Boyriend on Demand totally wasted all that talent and made him act a poker face the entire time... what a stupid drama...!!!!)

AND I LOOK AT JUN HO AND WISH SOME REALLY GOOD ACTOR WAS IN THAT ROLE AND TOOK SOME CREATIVE STEPS IN ACTING TO MAKE JH MORE "REAL". So.... as the plan B, I really really wish to have JH actor acting a LOT better. Common, relax and act naturally. I am sure current JH actor can do it if he really tries, but he has to try...

The trick part is the JM-JH marriage. If she tells him she is JM... then what? HOW would he react??? He likes fakeSR bc realSR loved him and chased him, and he likes realSR's music. JM has no artistic qualities at all. JH is in love with the "essence" of realSR, not JM.

I wonder if Chairman found out that HY leaked the medical records. is it possible that his secretary did NOT find out who leaked...??? How come the Chairman doesnt know about the twin yet?

She said she wants to take away what HY values the most, which is JH. She didnt say HOW..... Yeah she might go along with the marriage. But if she lies to JH and breaks his heart, then... she is no better than HY, and I am out.

That starting scene where Chloe proposes to HalfBrother was super powerful dialogue, wow that guy is so wise!!!!

Season 1 and 2 YuMi's relationships are shallow and toxic bc YuMi is very immature, so she choses wrong men for wrong reasons, and she and her men use each other.

We do know that Seasons 1 and 2 are water under the bridge... Season 1 was a total mismatch that ran on hormones while YuMi was willing to kiss his as@... She paid her desire for a boy toy very very dearly!!!!! very high price for a little bit of fun times and fun s.x!!!! ....
Season 2 was a slimey toxic cesspol, he was just a happy pill servant for her, so I feel sorry for the guy, he deserves a lot better, and YuMi got some really bad karma there... no wonder she is tired and bland now...

SO MY QUESTION IS - HAS YUMI LEARNED ANYTHING FROM SEASONS 1 and 2? I dont think so. Instead of becoming a better person, she just decided to shut down. She is an ignorant coward :)
This is what we know about Yumi. YuMi likes to eat, she likes guys for fun and s.x, and she is not self reflective AT ALL. So yeah it is to be expected she is gonna jump on a guy sooner or later.

Since YuMi is a princess, she pounced on a guy who is rather ... tame and does not bite back. That is why she was sooo annoyed with him - she was hitting HARD NON-STOP on him and he didnt respond at all, and she wanted him to flirt back and give her a lot of attention.

YuMi is spoiled. BaBi was treating her like she was a moody princess and he was her loyal lowly servant (until he collapsed from that futile effort and went looking for real love somewhere else - AS HE USUALLY DOES :) ) That is how he found YuMi too :) His character flaw is to try with super cold women who do not love him, and then jump ship when all his as# kissing makes him exhausted and a new promising prospect shows up. He never breaks up on his own, so at the end of his relationships, he starts leaving by kinda two-timing, getting emptionally attached to the "new and better and more promising" chick.

So like a Pavlov dog, YuMi now expects this new boy toy to give her LOTS of attention...

Even if we didnt know anythithing about Yumi's past, we can SEE she keeps hitting on PD Shin and getting annoyed bc he doesnt respond... . This is a CLASSIC situation with teenagers and ppl who delude thmselves about their chastity. YuMi is enirely driven by hormones and s.x drive, and she does not even want to admit it is a very strong force for her. So her behavior is a classic behavior of ADOLESCENTS who are just discovering their sexual nature and being confused with it.

The problem is,YuMi is an adult and this hypocritical self-torture should NOT be happening this long. yah sure she did not date for 3 years so these feeling of fussing about a guy are kinda rusty, but she SHOULD catch herself. YuMi ***should*** be able to self reflect and feel what she feels and not judge herself but calmly watch her inner workings.

I actually do not have high expectations for YuMi :)
I am watching to see the cells, bc to me it is soooo fascinating to see "the cadaver", to dissect under the skin, to really see what is beneath a person's behavior. YuMI series is of interest to me ONLY bc of the cells.

YuMi and her boys are unsufferable. If there was no Cells footage, I would never watch this.

The main flaw of HY is acting rashly.... so ... she failed again. JM was lucky... JM was dimb ... going some place all alone knowing that HY will blow a gasket... JM is ... just a tad bit smarter than Woman Who Swallowed the Sun FL, so MBC really needs to rethink this!!!!! and needs to make JM smarter asap.

JH was trying really hard to swoon JM, and he was quite gentle, caring, loving, and patient. Good for him, he does have a decent and loving side too, and is trying to make her like him.
BUT at the same time he **is** trying to marry her by force and that is super evil. He is making wedding plans and setting the date BEFORE she said yes... !!!!! and in fact she was saying a loud and clearn HECK NO WAY!!!! He needs to learn he cannot force her. This is 21st century and men do not have the power anymore to drag women into arranged marriages.
He is like his bio mom ... she too has a soft spot for "her" JH and keeps taking whatever she wants...

If JM is a stupid idiot to swindle him and marry him without telling him anything, I would ... drop this drama. I dont want to watch a greedy monstruous DUMB person like the FL in A Graceful Liar.

FL should be wanting to overcome this character flaw, addiction to tantrums. ML can help her overcome it by calling her accountable. The purpose of marriage yoga is to help both partners get enlightened :) So if FL is willing to work on it, she is gonna cooperate and WILL overcome this severe handicap of hers :) That is my sincere wish :)

Indeed, and also I think he is very entitled :) and rather clueless by choice :) a typical dinosaur type guy. He has no clue what kids are doing, what is going on in the house, he just shows up sits and eats :) Easy peasy! So he has lots of energy left to be super charming and cheerful :)
But he is also a good guy.... who else would tolerate his wife living away for years and sleeping in a diferent bed...
So I think FL is able to make up and forgive bc of that doggy good nature of her dad.

I think FL also gets the toxic habits from her mom, those backstabing mean comments that cut you off like a knife, and used to avoid being accountable. Her mother is a master of slimey fights and gaslighting :) A master of grudges and being mean while pretending to be ah so high on a pedestal. Master of putting up a show and hurting ppl intentionally.
But also, FL's mom CAN be very rational and fair, and think things through, and FL exhibits such traits too... and makes up with ML.

Honestly, I am wondering when the parents will grow up :)
I am pushing more for FL to grow up bc it is more likely to happen :) She is very motivated - she got her darling - and she is more likely to change NOW when she is younger and in the honeymoon phase.

I am not sure if Oppa_ is male or not. What you call "a little too seriously" is actually profoundly deep and perceptive commentary and one of the key reasons why this drama is a major bs brainwashing. He addressed the "rich and powerful" worhship and didnt address the "male worship". I addressed that :)
