There is many ways to miss clues LOL watch Mantis to see how sloppy police is / can be ... Ex washed everything before she left the murder scene ... there was no skilled detective on this case, THE LAWYER IS NOT A DETECTIVE!!!! etc etc etc etc

The audience is astounding me with their murder plot frenzy - hey, the murder plot kept you in question for 11 episodes, you could not figure it out, and now it is not good enough bc it is a crazy ex "trope"?
Heck a crazy ex or someone else crazy or just $$$$ is #1 cause anywhere any time. So ... what's the big deal??? I am not sure what ppl want - some amazing Sherlock Holmes mystery?

This drama is not about a complicated murder but about an idol and his fan and how they met and changed each other's lives. A mysterious murder is just one thing that brought them together.

Police is typically sloppy (watch Mantis... omg sloppy), that prosecutor was ... daddy's boy....and did NOT investigate anything... there was no skilled detective on this case as far as we saw!!! .... Ex wiped and cleaned everything before she left the murder scene... FL is just an attorney, not a detective...... so ... it is what it is.

This drama was NOT supposed to be a top notch mystery murder story .... in short 12 episodes... !!!!.

Fashion notes: Ough La Ik in black "pajamas" with dark coffee brown "pajama top" in ep 11 (and 10?) is ... eeek..... not good looking imo.
He was wearing a lot better clothes in earlier episodes, imo, it was lighter colors. It was not flashy and I do not even remember what it was, but it was pleasing and neutral.
This black-dark brown is just ugly imo. Makes him look older and more tired.

La Ik actor has eyes and acting skillZ, so he can wear pretty much anything (as long as we can see his eyes!), BUT PLEASE do not test your luck and do not put him into something hideous..

The ONE key thing that HAS to happen for LaIk actor anywhere any time is HAIR OUT OF HIS EYES. His eyes are one of his primary acting tools, so if you hide that, it is game over.

Seems like he uses the drama to advertise his modeling skillZ. When he got out of visiting Ex i jail. he walked down the corridor as if it were a runway... flicking the coat and putting his hand into a pocket.... Yeah but then use some nicer clothes and some other colors rather than black and dark brown cheap looking thing.

I loved La Ik's frizzed hair at the end of ep 11 and ep 12. That was a fun hairdo, and makes him look younger. Paired with the mariachi band jacket and then a jeans jacket made him look younger and was fun.

There were times when he pulled the hair straight up back (which older actors love to do, like various 70 yr old CEOs in various dramas), it made him look a lot older. I think the hair fell down towards the side... ? I could not figure out what exactly happened, but he looked older. Scene with drying hair where the hair is pulled back makes him look young. So what exactly makes him look old when dry hair is pulled up... I cannot figure it out :)

It can be a facial expression... For example, FL in Spring Fever had some scenes being in a nasty mood and omg she was so ugly with those negative facial expressions.

exactly . I think Asian Boss needs to add Disney into that. Perhaps Disney sues ppl too easy so he did not mention them...

And the audience is STUPID does not have the focus, observation skills and IQ to get into a longer drama and let the story simmer with all the details

Hm. I doubt she gets paid too much as a young manager, and she gives her money to her mother, so she is relatively poor.
Her hair looks decent to me, it certainly looks washed.

She is not a glitz person in this drama and she looks like it and that's ok. She goes between office and home and that's it

Title First Man
Wow So Hee snack ppl are so dumb. The whole plot is due to their dumbness. Thanks to them, now we have a sure way to recognize stupidity, Just go down this checklist:
*** 1. a dumb loser KNOWS IT ALL - so a dumb loser will not listen to reports of their own ppl / kids etc
2. a dumb loser tells all their stuff to total strangers and "authorities".***
3. A dumbo has NO common sense. So she sees someone who is a criminal and then follows him into a dark alley at night, all alone in an empty hood, and she does not even phone her buddy whom she is supposed to meet. Her brain is on AUTOMATIC IMPULSIVE behavior.

WHAT A CHEAP WAY TO CREATE SCRIPT, JUST BE STUPIDITY

A DUMBO ALWAYS KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON AND THEN TELLS YOU WHAT IS GOING ON INSTEAD OF LISTENING TO HEAR FROM YOU WHAT YOU SAW.

Signs are falling on a dumbo, and dumbo KNOWS FOR SURE it was just an accident. The Dumbo totally disbelieves the kid who says they saw the lady steal something. And so on.

THE DUMBO TAKES BIG PPL TO LUNCH TO APPOLOGIZE as if big ppl have nothing better to do than sit for a meal with some total nobodies stragers

The dumbo knows it all!!! Therefore the dumbo never learns and stays dumb forever. It is a self feeding loop. The dumbo is gonna be EATEN ALIVE bc of this cemented blindness. Like going through life with blinders. Such a primitive way to live

Jae In is very dumb and quite primitive. And not always kind. She is cruel out of dumbness and prejudice. She is nice to her family and very selfless to her mother, but she was super awful to Lawyer before she knew him, and she is actually super awfful to her mother, to IGNORE what her mother is saying. HOW could she say that there was nothing unusual on the bathroom day???? In short, JAE IN IS A REDNECK. A rather crude dumb simple woman loyal to her family.
Her rich twin is a lot smarter and classier, and more rude, and kind in her own way. She adores grandpa and is actually considerate to her mother. Rich Twin is a lot more interesting character. Jae In is a slightly improved version of the tired kdrama trope of a dumb loser woman.

The ML is not new... He was the ML in Tunnel, he was in The heirs, He was also in Gu family book (Kang chi father),…
Let me repeat myself. A "cold CEO" can be acted as a make-believe pretend one, OR a real one.
I think ML here is make-believe clearly pretending. He is NOT a cold CEO; he is pretending to be one. There is a huge difference. When I sense that "I am pretending" vibe, it is like nails on chalkboard.

I you want to see a real cold CEO, that is 2ML in The Nice Guy 2025 kdrama. He is a complex smart ambitious gangster boss with some good traits. That actor is PERFECT in that role. He *is* that gangster. King in Bon Apettit Your Majesty also starts like that. You do not see the actor. You see only the king. Another one who struck me eons ago was PSJ in What's Wrong With Secretary Kim LOL

***** A good actor does not pretend. A good actor IS that character. ******

UNLESS you are a makjangy theatrical actor ... like FL from Judge from Hell, etc. .... that is a whole different ball game of acting... In which case you ARE that character AND you are overdoing it. Like putting it on 200% instead of 100%.
Ji Sung acts like he is narrating a story for you and overdoing the details... thats another way to "act" via storytelling...

Please someone who speaks Korean helps us all with really bad subtitles for ep 11:
At the very end, when LaIk visits the Ex, and asks her WHY and she says blah blah and then he says NO... WHY DID YOU TAKE THAT KNIFE? if you didnt, I would have fallen, it would easy and clean case. If you say you did it out of love, let me tell you it wasnt love... and then he mentions what love IS.

What is the real translation of that part? Just before he gets out and meets Se Na again. It is just a minute but it is critical. THANK YOU!

Indeed. I see it in my home country too. And after thinking about it: someone is intentionally trying to kill the moral premise of the society KILL THE FAMILY and turn into lewdness bc then.. .ppl are more isolated, more prone to drugs and manipulation, more egoistical and lost in consumerism, and overall less capable of running their country. Ppl start paying attention only to decadent things. FAMILY GETS DESTROYED. When that happens, the society falls apart and in that chaor it is super easy to manipulate ppl who are essentially brain dead and without any ethics or moral compass and it is all about instant pleasure for themselves.
