yeah, BH and JM/SR are the leads on paper, but also in the action, those actors (and CEO Cha) carry the drama. So there is no way the drama can afford to have them off screen

I was very specific about what I didnt like about this drama, have you read what I wrote?
and i find that in most cdramas. I keep trying to find one I like, but they are all ... .. well .. .fake as I described in my post. I even read this page to doublecheck, and the photos seem fake too. It is clear the actors are PRETENDING. The acting is really bad.

There are plenty dramas I like. None of them are cdramas :) except Stephen Chow from Hong Kong, and 2016 movie Xuan Zhang, and c-k drama Making Family.
Chinese tend to make tons of cheap stuff, but China does have some ancient wisdom, which is mostly suppressed, and sometimes despite all the politicking, Chinese are able to produce a masterpiece, like Xuan Zhang.

Why do I like movie Xuan Zhang? bc it is DEEP and it has excellent acting, dialogue, script, and camerawork. It is a movie that is WOW on all fronts. Plus, it is educational. Plus, Stephen Chow's Journey to the West shows how the monk prepared for that journey. It is really really really ... interesting, true mystery and thriller...

Why do I like Stephen Chow movies? because they are deep. Because they have excellent acting by at least some actors in there -Stephen Chow himself is not the best actor but he is certainly very fun actor - and because they are educational and have a message, and EXCELLENT dialogues and script. Stephen Chow is not fluff stuff. He is able to tell a lot of heavy stuff without stepping on any toes. Also, he is able to teach, and his movies show true gender equality and care.

Why do I like Making Family? because it is warm and shows growth and communication.

I watched cdrama Bond and I was horrified. There is no humor in it, no lightness, it is heavy bare survival. At least some dialogues were great, and all actors were fantastic.

And this cdrama Pursuit of Jade, as most others, are just counterfeits, and are cheap and meaningless. maybe this drama has that general's true story, so it is somewhat educational to learn that, but the silly childish dialogue and TOTALLY PRETEND ACTING and overly dramatic scenes makes it really ... cheap and soapy. Crude.

The goal of storytelling is to show transformation in a deep way :)

Like Our Universe - the review / rating starts so bubbly and enthusiastic and then turns really sour pissed off angry LOL

Hyun Jun is so smart, wise, and sensitive, he reads the room, AND HE COMMUNICATES. And the actor is really making that role fun to watch. So suave.

Min Ju is a piece of clumzy ice. Like a troubled teenager. I really wish him to grow up. MinJu actor is getting better but his acting is simple, always acting pent up confused. So I hope he evolves fast.

Yu Na is absolutely infuriating nauseating psychopath, and that actress is nailing it, she made the role seem quite real.

The Chairman actor is so good at acting his role.
The two wives acting ... aaagh... need to take some acting lessons.

Imo Chloe is so beautiful and FEMININE. Face, body, and entire demeanor, it is one healthy energetic woman, and very radiant. Imo she looks very pretty in every way. And the actress acts well, so it is really fun to watch beautiful Chloe express a great deal of nuances.

It is hard to see an actress who is feminine these days bc they are all so super extra anorexic thin, so their faces have nothing in them, they lack energy, the clothes just droop OR it is clear that there is nothing under the clothes, god forbid they wear short sleeves or a mini skirt, it is a disaster to see it, and overall they do not look female at all. there is NO softness and they are so pale with big dark circles under their eyes. Not a pretty sight at all.

The only exceptions I have seen lately are Bok Hee in Undercover Miss Hong - she wore a polka dot dress in one scene and that was a WOW!, then Chloe, and FL in First Man. I can genuinely say wow these are good looking healthy women. The rest .. I see and I think - wow go eat something asap... and then get to that gym or yoga or fast walking or SOMETHING asap.... BREATHE

HJ is definitely the Lap Dog's biological son, but he is officially counted as the chairman's son.

I feel very sad for Jun Ho being stuck with his no-show mom and looking like a lost and beaten puppy.
I think the actor really acted his scenes well, even his asking where is BH for breakfast was so sad and desolate, and also his voice over about his mom is very well done.
I am looking forward to more and more scenes where this actor can RELAX AND ACT. He definitely has potential. It is really fun to see him coming out as an actor, it is like watching flowers starting to bloom.

Ah now we know why Baek Ho is so naive and dumb LOL
His father TELLS CEO Cha about that murder night and ASKS her to tell him the truth (rolling my eyes here... !!!!) and he even mentions Baek Ho telling him about it. Gees!!!!!

Wow that dad cheater is a total total MORON. Esp after seeing the video with her beating the old man...

And the wife!!!! She actually CAUGHT her husband cheating and did not even know it ... and thought it was all good. Omg.... So many ppl cheat with coworkers, that is a well known fact. What planet does that wife live on?

Jun Ho actor is really really nailing down those scenes. His voice over and his expressions are great acting

But in ep 4, it turned into a heavy duty psychological drama and thriller. ML's wife turned out to be evil :)

and I choose to speak up about it in other dramas and yeah if it becomes too obvious, I drop the drama.

I think YM is hired by the Chairman to be his pimp manager and also to control everything and everyone so that Chairman can benefit. She is essentially his henchman and right hand.
