But ... we are testing Se Na right now :) with her cute crush sobbing in her arms, will her hormones take over, will she pounce? Honestly, I dont think she will. Immediately LOL But when she gets him into the house and the shower and the sleep time - and especially if he pounces on her - as he has been hitting on her shamelessly before - she might pounce.

So far he is like a kid trying to hit on an adult. But that moment when he grows up, he will become super dangerously tempting :)

I really hope she is strong enough to wait till the case is over..... That will be the ultimate test of her love.

The runaway cat came back home :) fast :) as expected :) Ra Ik was very immature and impulsive and insecure, BUT luckily he is also very smart and very affectionate... so that smart cat followed the suspect to find out what she is all about and then decided it was ok to trust her. He became a lot calmer and self reflective thanks to Se Na. But he was a little too slow and too late... his rash irrational impulsive behavior caused severe problems and potentially death.

I wonder how long it would have taken him to seek her if it werent for the imminent danger...

I am impressed with the script, which is realistic - Ra Ik was soooo immature, it was to be expected that Ra Ik will do something rash stupid sooner or later, and honestly it took him a lot longer than I expected LOL he really improved .... And so the action keeps moving, whch is impressive... and the acting impresses me... . Se Na actress is just excellent, and La Ik actor too.

Ra Ik actor has really expressive and piercing intelligent eyes, which make him very beautiful. That is how he is different than tons of beautiful guys out there who are just flat and BORING to watch... He is interesting to watch bc he is very alive, lively and smart, his eyes are so sharp like lasers, so one cannot help it but keep watching him, just like one can watch a cat playing for a long time and never get tired of it. Ra Ik character seems REAL. There is no acting. It is like real life. Plus the actor makes the character so lively and alive. It is quite remarkable. He acts with his eyes, his face, and his entire body, he moves.
So far, that actor could not act well the emotion of deep love and care and vulnerability. That is understandable, bc Ra Ik was immature. But the episodes with that feeling in prominent visibility are coming up, so I hope that actor is training to really experience. feel and express those deep rich unquestionable unconditional emotions.

I have never seen this actor before but he certainly has a future as a star. He already kinda is just with episodes so far... ... and if he can act the deep love/care expressions, he is on his way to become a top top top star master actor. Luckily Se Na actress is excellent and the two of them really make this drama stand out. LUCKILY the script is good so they can truly shine

Vile comments also exploded bc I started watching ep 1 just a few days ago, when th drama was airing ep 10 or so.
So I binge watched. By ep 4, it was clear to me this drama was about unsuccessful attempts to rehab an addict, FL, who was fighting tooth and claw to keep the addiction and being abusive., and used ML as a psychiatric nurse.

I quit watching this drama at ep 5 and watched ep 12 to see if they properly handled it. Nope the script was trash to the end.

Even good acting and PSJ cannot save a trashy script.

This drama has "happy end" which I do not trust - FL is so shabby that I DOUBT that she will be able to be good to ML even after her confession. We never saw her do any inner work and I have HIGH DOUBTS THAT SHE REALLY CHANGED

Weak cowardly running-away loser FL and ML chasing her to "protect her" is a common theme in kdramas, that is inherent sexist manipulation and brainwashing that is one of rare kdrama common faults. In this drama, it is even worse bc FL is addicted to alcohol and sleeping pills. She is literally one of the most toxic FLs ever, and maybe THE most toxic one so far.
She is very western, korean FLs are not usually addicts to drugs.

Only recently there was a pretty good Second Shot At Love kdrama that addressed an alcoholic FL, but she grew up in Korea where ppl drink like crazy and her family drank too. Korea in general has issues with alcohol

Dynamite Kiss is yet another toxic delusion drama and is A LOT worse than this one, has a LOT worse script and acting by ML and FL, but got higher reviews bc it had explicit sexual scenes and nakedness. It shows you what kind of audience likes this kind of stuff. Fine, there is plenty of such audience and they have money. Hollywood makes billions on such audience.

But obviously more and more ppl opt out of trashy stories like that and switch to kdramas, which USED TO have pretty good stories. In various ways. I wrote it in my review of this drama what makes a real kdrama so good. The key ingredient is redemption arc - showing the PROCESS of it

But as Netflix and other westerners start producing kdramas, and Chinese have popularity of short verticals, kdramas might keep sliding and getting worse and worse. Luckily there are still good ones, like Idol I, Beloved Thief, etc but we need to make sure that real kdramas do not become extinct.

The real kdrama happy end happens because of a genuine transformation PROCESS by self effort, team work, communication, self awareness and self reflection, etc.
In a real kdrama, a LOT of very deep stuff is shown in a rather comical, light, fun, warm, compassionate way. So VERY DEEP STUFF IS ADDRESSED. There are very stark honest conversations and self dialogues.

This drama is lazy. It focuses on so many episodes of the same trashy plot and then miraculously shows some inclination of a great change and happy ending. HECK NO I DO NOT TRUST THIS DRAMA ONE BIT.

FL is addicted to alcohol and sleeping pills and using and abusing ML as her babysitter psychiatric nurse and yelling at him and dumping him, lying to him, and then SUDDENLY!!!! MAGICALLY!!!! she is up and running on her feet. Pfsk trash soap. !!!! so unreal.

I WASTED 6 HOURS OF MY LIFE WATCHING THIS DRAMA JUST BC I WAS A FAN OF PSJ PAST DRAMAS AND BC FL ACTRESS IS GOOD.

If you want me to spend 12 hours wasting my life, I just say NO to that. I WASTED ABOUT 6 HOURS OF MY LIFE WATCHING THIS DRAMA, and I feel very qualified to writ a review. I can write a review based on ep 1-4, skimmed 5, and 12. That was enough for me to know what the drama is about.

I barely plowed through ep 1 just to watch PSJ, and I barely stayed awake through ep 2-4 and only out of loyalty to PSJ. FL actress is a great actress too so it was fun watching her for a while. BUT IT GOT BORING FAST BC IT WAS ALWAYS THE SAME PLOT AND ACTING. And PSJ was not great here bc it requires a lot deeper level of acting than he had. So I QUIT.

Much of international audience *switched* to watching kdramas bc they are the best out there. But if they start looking like the rest of the trash out there, then there is no need to watch them. REMEMBER THAT.

there might be millions of starved Western audience that will welcome trashy kdramas bc it will still be better than locally produced trash ... but that will die soon too.

Unlike you, I am NOT interested in supporting a drama blindly. I want it done well so I will write what I think went wrong. I am a nerd for art and I want high quality or else I am not watching.

If I wanted to watch trash, I would watch holywood or chinese short verticals. I do NOT watch trash.

I wrote a review on what I watched and it is very clear. I watched ep 1-4 in great detail and got TIRED of it, the same stuff the same plot kept repeating and repeating!!!!!! To me it was clear from the start that she loved him, she kept hitting on him, and she was COWARD AND ADDICT and kept runnign away and he kept chasing her.

They never ever talked honestly

I skimmed through ep 5 and it was clear it was going on in the same old way ... so many ppl complaining these 2 kept breaking up and quarreling.... NO MOVEMENT FORWARD... ...

THERE IS NO NEED FOR ME TO WASTE TIME TO WATCH ep 5-11 IN TOTAL AGONY was my conclusion

When I see that soemthing is trash, I am not gonna waste time. I am dropping it.

I dropped so many dramas recently like that, after a few episodes of EXACTLY THE SAME PLOT AND ACTING. It is waste of time to spend hours watching ONE SAME THING
