I really think you need to increase your observation skills. He was hitting on her bc she provided a safe oasis for him and for the first time in his life, he was able to relax and be himself. He was able to RELAX AND PLAY AND EXPLORE. He is a creative person, and a very playful alive puppy and very affectionate person and a romantic, healthy young male, and of course she is interesting to him and he is hitting on her. He is CURIOUS and exploring. That is to be expected - she gave him space to express himself.

Bc he is so lively and alive, he explored her on all levels - asked her what she likes, was non-stop on her personal space, etc. Their conversations are amazing, so deep and so honest. He bared his soul to her.

and she reciprocated!!!! she was smiling from ear to ear. She could not show more bc there was no way she would let him see that he succeeded, she is his lawyer and she is 100% professional and kept the professional distance, but CLEARLY he made her soooo happy on all levels. Every time he accidentally came close or touched her or did something nice for her, she was fluttering all over. Every time they spoke about something deep, she was melting.

Just like SHE made HIM soooooo happy. He got off his pills and alcohol and was so lively and charming,

That is chemistry, my dear. Very deep chemistry. They are such healing and inspirational presence to each other and there is this PULL on ALL levels. THis is a deep adult love for life.

He is immature and was hitting on her like a kid hits on adult, but very soon he is going to be smarter and more mature and then will be a very serious temptation for her.

This started as very goofy teenage rom-com, getting frills from opportunities to touch and look each other in the eye... stuff that teenagers fall for... Thats why 8.2 rating, the humor is very low, not smart, appealing to "young at heart" and accessible to a very wide range of audience... The bed with roses and she sprawling all over it and kicking her legs, and then who washes up first LOL both of them knew what it was... he tried pillow talk... the sit ups close ups... etc. All very physical teenage comedy... making fun of teachers and authorities.... It was comical but shallow. No shirt wet, etc... well go to Hawaii in surf season and you will see tons of that and some good surfing too :) I applaud ML actor for having an athletic body. Then the shark... who thought of that... ? LOL so creatively hilarious crazy...... I was still not impressed.... but then she started appreciating and protecting him. ..... Aha... an opening... I started paying closer attention.

Where they really won me was the scene when he rescued the dog and she took the dog in her arms. They were da bestest puppy parents. And the doggie is soooo cute and was clearly enjoying all the love..... And she was not googling his muscles, but feeling compassion for his scars.
That is where the rom com became much much deeper and I was *in*. And all his antics in taking yobo to lunch, etc. were not shallow anymore, it was truly comical.

I think it is going to get truly sad bc she doesnt realize yet she likes him a lot, and he has high hopes now...
But I am sure our puppy parents will do just fine, they do like each other and are on the same page. Go parents go!

that is her strong point and her ... character flaw - she used her work to escape people and relationships. She never even dated. She is a traumatized wounded person like La Ik

so her challenge is to be able to take that armor off at will. Bc if she doesnt succeed in melting her ice castle wall, the case will be over and she will be next to a nice hot guy she likes and she wont be able to enjoy a relationship with him bc she will still be too guarded and distant. La Ik is fun, he is affectionate lively creative person, he takes her to play piano, etc and to really enjoy him, she has to learn to be vulnerable and ENJOY.

The case is necessary for ML and FL to get to know and trust each other. For L to get to see real La Ik and for the spoiled impulsive insecure frazzled aggressive nasty arrogant brat La Ik to grow up. So the case is a perfect wau to bring them together. ML and FL would never meet and exchange without that case... and it will lead to a solid romance at the end. ML will be all grown up and FL will finally grow up too and defrost.

ML was all frazzled going bananas bc he had TOO MANY ppl in his life and was too open without any boundaries, and FL was all cemented cold bc she avoided people. The case helps both to melt and transform, grow up, open up, get stable and grounded yet open, and then come together properly. IT is a super beautiful love story.

Perhaps it was "assisted suicide" in prison..; I dont think he would kill himself when he knows his daughter is waiting...

Yeah it is sad bc her thinking is so limited. She is presented with circumstances beyond her control and she is trying to rationally navigate with the little she knows. So yes it is sad.

To me, the most important thing - which is beyond sad bc it is really dumb - is that she CHOSE never to tell her father about marrying grandpa and she CHOSE to keep it secret and she CHOSE to manipulate others in keeping it secret. That lack of communication is the stupidest thing that very close people could do to each other. She is essentially swindling her father, intentionally. That is really stupid, she is behaving as if she were God, deciding for other people

For the sake of explaining what I mean, I just rattled off some examples that might OR MIGHT NOT be relevant to you. You are the only one who knows. My comment was to start you thinking what you like and dislike and go from there.
