Prosecutor married FL, his wife bc she is a famous actress Sang A and he needed some clout to climb up the social ladder since he comes from a poor family. His dad was union leader and was framed, so ML entered prosecution to revenge his dad, and then discovered "it was a kingdom of its own" and needed a way in, so he married a famous actress and gained clout and influence.
His wife then lost her ratings and his career went down. SO he wanted to boost up his career by exposing the female major, who is for sure corrupt and has ties with female chaebol from W corporation - the pretty woman Ms Lee that Sang A was talking to. .

So, ML recruited his MISTRESS? is she? Am I the only one thinking she is his mistress? she is definitly trying to bag him.! , the short fluffy hair chick Nana, and he recruited another Lee who wants to be in charge of that W corporation.

So, Mistress and ML found out that FL, his wife, went to meet with Ms. Lee. They dont know yet why. Ms. Lee is like Epstein, she hooks up new actors etc with rich ppl who then promote the slut. When she was a new actress, FL willingly volunteered that to move up. She still has trauma.
Now, many years later, FL owns a production agency and Msl Lee is doing that to her young actor, the female Major is paying to have s.x with him and promote him. That's why FL went to the hotel to look for him and tell him not to do it - but he volunteered!!!
So ML walked in and filmed the young actor and the major in the act.

Now seems like Ms. Lee is gonna blackmail the FL and recruit her to bring down ML..

The camera is a little dark and sometimes too fast or too implying, so you have to watch carefully. Here is what i figured out

Well it is whoever wanted to pay to push her into the fame. It could be ANYONE. Anything is possible For example, remember at one point there was 2 older guys with a bunch of young women. . This is korean Epstein but with female customers too.
The most scary thing is that this stuff is REAL, it happens in real life and is documented in Epstein files which we did not get to see yet bc Epteiners are wagging the dog and causing ww3 to distract

it kinda looks like Made in Korea, doesnt it - but has a very different vibe. This one is dark and tragic but somehow does not feel violent and raw ... ... somehow it has dark comedy too... and feels sophisticated, there is complexity and NUANCE in all characters and the plot

Yang Mi is a korean Epstein, and Sang A had to pay to rise to fame. WHO she had to mate with was not revealed yet. Could it be the Major?... we will see

Wow the way this is filmed - like the subjective look how events "feel" to us, how it looks to our subjective eye and mind, rather than how it objectively looks, e.g. through the camera. Very interesting. So the story is not new at all, but how it is told makes it fresh. Let's see how deep it goes.
It is totally dark and tragic and murky but still has nuance, complexity, sophistication and even some humor, making fun of things, like whistling at the very end of ep 1. That is the best cliffhanger I have ever seen LOL
I am so happy this drama is not about pretty and plasticized young faces and overly skinny bodies. ML looks quite real and is very handsome. And I love his voice over.
EmpressKi actress is acting so well here! but is so much thinner than before. I liked her look before
Omg I recognized ML from Lucifer ... and Princess Hours! Omg! He looks so different now - he aged well, imo he is more handsome now bc he got a muscular body now. I did not recognize him at all at Love Your Enemy! he looked so bored in that drama. Here he looks in his element.

I am not really joking. This drama is dark and complicated, so dark comedic elements are used to make fun out of people and events. Comical feel that is rather devilish, snide, shocking and/or tragic - and funny -- like his whistling at the very end of ep 1. Check out that scene.

I found comedy in the camera work and scenes, like how his mistress was introduced and their conversation about his wife.

But it is not a "funny" drama by any means

Wow Min Jun still did not tell his mom and his mom never confirmed with him that Yu Na was NOT his gfriend???? wow ... Both are super stupid. What kind of relationship is that??
Btw the main character in Mad Concrete Dreams is even more stupid than that and that drama would fit perfectly as a daily

Imo based on her looks and actions, she could be a possessive, clingy ex-lover, "noona sponsor" type..... and if she is his mother he is avoiding, then ... she is LOL

Yeah I have faith, she is not such a dumb little goose anymore, and is definitely not impulsive like before BUT ... she is not a perfect spy yet LOL She doesnt know how to sneak around properly :) and doesnt know how to HIDE when found out :)
Nobody really is a good spy here, they are all amateurs... and they must help each other. They will all need saving from time to time and will save each other. Now JM can save BH sometimes, and sometimes he will save her. And they must cooperate at all times...
To say it short - THEY MUST BE A TEAM. Like CEO Chae and LapDog are a team.

For the record: I saw ep 1-2 of Mad Concrete Dreams. The ML, his family and his partner is crime are soooo dumb, they make JM look super extra smart.
The only reason why that Mad Dreams is a fancy short drama is bc it has super hyped music. But it is no better than First Man. Just shorter.

The job is too big for one person and JM needs help.
BH will now monitor SR a lot better in the hospital, more alert to Chae etc
BH and JM can now exchange info and paste the puzzle a lot faster
helping each other will help BOTH of them stay safer

but it also can be detrimental, as BH talks too much and now TP knows, and we all know TP is an impulsive dumbo

I dont think it is going back to square 1 if BH helps JM. He is not "saving" her anymore, he is HELPING her. JM is much smarter now. YEAH WE HOPE THE WRITER DOES NOT MAKE HER A DUMB DAMSEL IN DISTRESS AGAIN :)
