He acts like an entitled and controlling brat. And yeah the behavior he is complaining about is somewhat insane. An adult entering your house can find you without your clothes on, can run on you and your loved in bed, on you naked in the shower, etc So - a brother should NOT use the passkey to his SINGLE AND DATING sister's house... unless she is away from home and he is housesitting...
Later in life he will have a passkey to use if he babysits her kids LOL

And have you seen a brother piggyback his sister from drinking... ? He would put her into a cab....
Esp since Ha Neul and YC are NOT real brother and sister.... and technically CAN have a sexual relationship.

Remember sooo many bad comments about age gap in so many dramas?? Like ... Beyond the Bar, about 40% of the comments was just trash bitching that she was too young for him.... etc

So I suspect that maybe for this kdrama, someone decided to not touch that can of worms and to leave the romance out so that the trolls would not get the ammunition to shoot down the drama.

It is totally true that romance was a huge part of the drama and was never actualized - bc it was not the time... FL and ML were both too busy dealing with their own sh## and FL was stuck to a a copy of her father in form of a harmful husband - who was sick and dying....

But the end of the drama - if James lived - is a start of a clean slate from which anything is possible.
I think FL and SuA would need a little time to sync up together and James would need a little time to fully reconver from his father... and then... they are free to be together, free as birds, clean and shiney....

and in fact, their close relationship - first just living as a family group and then I would say becoming lovers and a lifelong pair - is actually the only meaningful choice.

Bc - you live only once and ML IS THE ONLY PERSON WHO CARES FOR FL AND VICE VERSA. So why would they avoid each other and permanently be apart??? THAT IS DUMB!!!!

the best solution is to live together in love and care. he has shown so much love and care for her so far and it would be a terrible choice to throw him out. She gotta melt and forget that parasite husband patterned after her father.

ML actor was the ML in drama On her Wedding Day where he got left out but the woman was immature mean cold and ... an addict. Totaly different situation than here.


ES should get used to being loved. James is her chance :) if he lived to S2 :)

I thnk a huge reason for ES to cry at the end is out of regret for missing that chance for so long, and if she believed he was dead, missing that chance FOREVER. That would be a terrible loss and actually the greatest punishment ever.

Age difference - I am sorry but who cares these days ??? unless it is for money.... Then I would care. Assuming it is love - anything goes... ppl look younger or older and are more or less mature and anything is possible in love.

Meanwhile, SB, who is totally healthy, is wriggling .... but she is smart enough and knows that hormones are the heart are two different things ... and so she is patient, realizing she is feeling the hormones... But sooner or later, she WILL realize she is feeling the heart too.

I vote for this pair. It will require some work as he has to defrost first. She is on her way to becoming a very responsible person and I give her a passing grade even now.

Their acting is so fun and so realistic. I actually love watching them.

The ML's brother and YR are another great pair, but I am afraid chaebol mom will try kiling him or at least badly framing him. If YR doesnt step it up, she is gonna lose the man of her life. he is soo fun. I love the acting of those two actors, they totally made it real.

The timing... at the end the ML and FL were in sync ... She threw drugs, and he did too..

and then he was thinking of jumping and she was crying.. she felt it... Su-A was also synced with them and was calling FL...... AND FL WAS IGNORING THE CALL OF SU-A. That little detail I think is very important bc it shows that James is more important that Su-A at that moment

So I hope he synced in with her and just walked away. It would be a total waste of his life to end his life bc some shitty man happened to be his father.

ES did turn him away when he came to give her money, she told him goodbye farawell... I DO HOPE HE DID NOT TAKE THAT AS PARTING FOREVER?? If he did, he might have jumped.... Back then, she could not accept his company as she was grieving...
She never admitted to herself that she felt any romance for him bc she was too busy taking care of her husband and daughter and in her mind, she was "theirs" - but that husband was leaving anyways soon... I am glad he proved useful at the end, but for all their life together, he was so harmful to her... So at the very very end, he kinda redeemed himself..

I think at the very end point of the drama, all FL and ML past traumas have been revealed and FL at that point finished her grieving and ML was in the process of dealing with the grief. Hopefully he resolved his grief in a productive way

I do hope that he felt her crying for him and that it brought him back to life, realizing there is someone something for him, someone cares.

Luckily for you, the older ppl storyline kinda died out. There is only grandma in the house, and wife's dad, and we havent seen them for ages already.
The dad and looking for employment aftter retiring is still there and is a big deal. ALso wife working and even grandma working...

To sum it up: JH is immature :) He was super nasty to EH yelling at her as if it is her fault he likes her .... That is not ok to dump on EH! If he is not going to confess to her, at least be quiet AND STAY POLITE.. .....
On the good side, he is honest. His telling the truth to SJ was very commendable - he said - "you go try first with EH and if she rejects you, I am gonna try, bc I love her. And btw I dont think you love her - if you did, you couldnt keep your hands off for 6 years. That doesnt look like love to me!!!"
- so he was honest as a friend and as a love competitor. THat was not petty - it was awesome JH showed that his core, his essence, is honest. If he is aware of something, he acts on it.

EH basically cut off her ties with him, just told him to go live happily ever after, never offered to keep friends.
IF he felt rejected permanently and did not remember all the care he was getting from her and that perhaps he can go back to her as a friend, he might have jumped.
If he remembered that at least SHE cared for him and that he already survived huge evil things, he would not jump.
So ... what happens... is .... up to imagination

yes for sure he was getting ready to jump. However... that decision can change in a split second.
I think only when he is ready to jump can he be pushed internally to realize that he has reasons to live. So I hope that DID happen :)

and, he is the only one who cared for her.. her husband left her hanging so many times... yeah ML used her sometimes but he was so caring...
