I like this drama a lot, I think the story is phenomenally useful. It is a toxic story about "ordinary" people who are ignorant and they make wrong choices and create messes. So this is not a "fun" drama to watch but is incredibly usedul as a learning tool.
To me this is a pshychological drama. So it is ok that it is not happy fun all the time. It is working through some severe deep character flaws and bad decisions and delusions. So it is a LEARNING TOOL.
The acting is great and the issues are complex and ... toxic :) so it requires some detective skills to really dig in and understand the characters and the plot and what it all means.
In other words, this is one of those dramas where you have to really pay attention to every nuance of the actions and character, and really dive deep into rather SUBTLE BUT POWERFUL psychological states.
Yeah it is frustrating to see ppl making mistakes and livin gin toxicity. And also, it is extremely useful learning tool.
I do NOT hate this drama, I gave it high reviews, and I take great care to go through the psychological issues presented as it is very interesting to me to see HOW PEOPLE "WORK"

Woman who ran with the wolves stories read by Estela Pensecola - I KNOW I am butchering her name right now :) and good old staple stories like Little Red Riding Hood, Snowhite, Cindirella, anything from Brother's Grimm, Aesop, etc. I highly recommend book "Seven Arrows" by Homeyostas Storm.
People read Karlos Castaneda and think kdrama Head OVer Heals is fun and such other dangerous shit which talks about things one should not explore unless you are under some master and closely supervised, and even then, it is .... DANGEROUS. Real art is supposed to somehow lead to discover something about the world and yourself. The fantasy is often used as a camo fun cover for super deep metaphorical messages about spiritual growth. ALL FAIRY TALES ARE LIKE THAT - the talk about the inner struggle. BUT a masterpiece like Cindirella is much better said :)

A true story comes from Something Higher and carries messages that will engage the higher parts of our brain and make us See and Understand and Wonder and Think more. For example, masterpiece fairy tales all do that. It makes us happy to engage with that kind of content bc it is deep and satisfies deeper parts of us that are usually starving for attention. SO YES I am all for that kind of "fantasy". It is not really fantasy :) A good drama is along those lines.
