I changed my mind about JH actor looks. When I saw him in Ep 16 sitting around the table at home, relaxed and happy, smiling, talking normally, I concluded he is attractive. But then when he goes into the snide arrogant mode, he is not :) That actor is a very very very good actor. It is a good thing to keep him on the screen a lot.

Wow ML actor is amazing!!!! He was great for the starting comedy, he is great for the love scenes, and for the serious and grim scenes too.... I suspected at the start but after all the episoded, it is CONFIRMED. Congrats, a new star was born!
The entire drama rests on the vibrant acting of ML. There are seasoned actors on the side to help out but he is clearly the reason to watch this drama. His character is very complex and thus difficult to act - and so more interesting to watch. The script beautifully handled a rookie actor by giving him short scenes at the start, and then much longer scenes later, with his face into camera, and he handled it all so well!
The FL actress was not as radiant but she was competent to a great degree and also the script made her secondary, as someone who cooks, faints during fights and scolds /appeases the King. Her character was rather simple, Too bad. But she has less acting skill anyways and she did not improve much during the drama. ML actor improved 10000 % from say Crushology and even start of this drama and is now able to hold long complicated emotional scenes with his face into the camera I just saw ep 10 and the scenes in the jail are awesome, FL nailed it. But then in Ep 11 when it is time to huggy the King, she cannot act love scenes.
Nooooo... there are 50 episode kdramas, the best are Once Again, My Father is Strange, etc.... Right Now is Our Golden Days, I like it a lot....
then there are 30 ep kdramas, like Pinnocchio... and probably 20 ep ones... AND 100 or 120 episodes dailies!!! Like Queen's House that just finished was darn good! and now A Graceful Liar looks promising! Woman Who Swallowed the Sun is ok in many ways too...
