I googled it: it's not gonna work to have Jang Mi going to the USA to become a Michelin Chef - it takes 10-15 yrs to do that. A realistic thing is 21 months of good culinary school and then 1 yr internship under a Michelin Chef. But Jun Ho is not a chef anymore ... so ... dunno how this route could work...

I really like Beak Ho, he is really nice kind gentle warm STABLE RELIABLE guy and has some brains, and the actor is acting that role very well and makes Baek Ho seem real. Hm, he is a better version of his dad... who also is a rather kind person, his reaction to the car accident shows it... but .. dad is too dumb naive and ok with morally shady and lying, and falls in love twice with snakes... Baek Ho has good taste, Jang Mi, although not a rocket scientist, is a good person and would make a wonderful wife in many ways, esp when she opens her mind and starts shining. Jang Mi and Baek Ho are a perfect match for each other - both are kind, dedicated, warm family ppl who arent the smartest but are adequate, who arent the visionaries but a stable foundation for the society.. So called "ordinary" family people.

Baek Ho is handsome too so overall, a nice and kind presence on the screen is welcome :) And "in" the screen too, his persistent help paid off. Jang Mi likes him :) he is a natural part of her environment. His plan worked LOL as usual. I have not seen a woman who did NOT fall for a dedicated loyal nice guy who was always there for her... he is nice, handsome and totally hers. I am glad she was smart enough to realize quickly that he is irresistible.

But to be truly her da man, Baek Ho first needs to grow up some, he is so naive and often quite dumb.. e.g. he found out Manager Lee went to buy soju and then he went to Manager Lee to ask him. I forgot the exact scene bc my jaw dropped and my eyes popped in total shock LOL I couldnt believe what I was seeing LOL

Really, imo the spunky colorful adventuresome Seo Rim is the smartest one and the most fun to me in the whole show. Without Seo Rim, the plot would NEVER EVER move forward. Everyone else is as slow and thick like molasses......

So we need Seo Rim in the drama, she lives and stays active... !

Jang Mi could never impersonate Seo Rim 100%, and vice versa. Jang Mi is a stable and steady caretaker mother hen. No risks, no deviations... her dreams and aspirations are rather "ordinary"... to be a Michelin chef. Jang Mi does not see herself shaking the world anew...
Seo Rim is like a dragonfly, fast, refreshingly creative, unique, adventuresome, free risk taker and player. She will be perfect for the Chef to go to business meetings and banquets with, talk to customers, have big "on the bleeding edge" successful projects, etc. She is a shaker and mover with big bold visions. The Chef will be a good match for her, he has big bold visions too and is an adventuresome risk taker - how he hang out at the bad job bc he wanted to turn over the bad restaurant - he is a big man at heart, bold and fearless business person, but first he has to melt big time to match her. Right now, Chef typically annoys me, bc he is too ... stiff. The actor is too ... simple in his acting.

If there is anything we learned from Tae Puyng, it is not to assume that anyone who SEEMS = I think the keyword is SEEMS - to help us is a nice person meaning well...

Overall, this drama is super cute!
I love how it addresses real life and very deep serious issues in a compassionate, light, warm and comical way. It is like - ok we cannot escape this, let us deal with it the best we can.
This drama is such a realistic yet positive and inspiring view of marriage and family

So yeah these 2 are gonna have to grow up real fast and learn not to yell and slam, not to forget the phone, not to ask Woo Ju to quietly sit and wait... :)
aaaand... if they slip once in a million times, to be thankful if nothing goes bad and then try even harder.

Idol I was great too, Haunted Palace, recently I saw masterpieces - Dream Lifee o Mr. Kim , ... so kdramas are alive and kicking. Positively Yours is pretty good too imo, I am enjoying Recipe for love on weekends. Oh there was Undercover high school - that was soo fun!

FL is an established trained rehearsed parasite bc she lived off her sister all her life. This is the FIRST TIME EVER she has to make it on her own.
And now she is smooching off ML. She went to work, promised him to come back bc he had an interview, and she DID NOT come back, and even totally totally FORGOT about the kid, left her phone in the car, and had fun flirting with her ex.

FL is very flippant. It is "oh I am sorry" but there is no substance to it. ML is a jerk in words, but his actions are very very giving and caring. Except when he gets distracted LOL This is his second time telling Woo Ju to sit quietly and wait....

So this was your lesson in discipline 101. These two guys are NOT exactly doing their best. ML is trying harder than FL, who looks totally physically weak and exhausted to begin with

Hey everypne, about love triangles - ppl hitting on ppl is a part of life. Anyone attractive or nice attracts attention. And each person could look around and find interesting people. In real life, people flirt all the time!!!!!

kdramas love to use triangle of 2 guys and 1 woman, which is .. almost extinct these days in the USA, where is it like ... 1 guy and 100 horny women chasing him - bc there is less men, men are less men anyways bc of plastic and pollution lowering testosterone levels, so you get tired guys wothout umph, then many are gay, and good ones are already taken -
but to be honest, I would hate to watch that on screen too LOL nuff in real life LOL However, it is time to make dramas about real life . bc men are spoiled and women are chasing them without ANY shame, they crawl for them... and spoil them super rotten. Something has to change, it is super imbalanced. Our new parents are still quite selfish and immature, esp the parasitic FL who is out there lirting with her old flame... and ML still did not learn that he cannot just tell WooJu to sit still in a chair for a long time... how many times did he try that so far? ... But luckily, ML is getting to be a super good husband and father. He really cares for that kiddo and his chick. he can be mean and say he doesnt care but he does. Meanwhile, FL keeps saying sorry but she doesnt think o Woo Ju even once, doesnt even know how he sleeps... she forgets her phone, ruins ML's evening job, ... she is a parasite damsel in distress. It is annoying that neibhbors call her "cute sweetie." She will be cute when she gets at least 20kg more and goes out walking every day :)
FL seems ... like floating in outer space. She looks sooooo skinny and frail, without enough energy in her body to live her life... so it is like an energy sucking person... damsel in distress... I do hope she snaps out of that asap!

I really appreciate that the drama is so sweet, so deep, so realistic, we get to see all those problems but we also get to see how people move on - ML and FL talk things out, the nice neighbors and friends are help, and proessional contacts and work are fun too. Woo Ju has a rich environment to learn from. But first, they gotta pay attention to Woo Ju, instead of quarreling, bc Woo Ju is very disturbed any thime they quarrel....

Woo Ju is sooo oooooooo cute. I dont like any scenes where he cries. I hope those scenes is not real kid but some kind o AI :)

I think the answer is that the contract worker is flirting and the boss is setting her up to fall into that flirting trap. He is like a fly trap plant.... Sitting there quietly offering his nectar until she falls on... Or like an anaconda... He is slowly coiling up around her and she even has no idea... Bc... he keeps calling her to work with him, BUT HE DOES NOT MAKE A MOVE, so she gets sooo used to being around him all the time and SHE will hit on him :) it wont be his fault :) and then I think... he leaves? somehow I do not feel any real feelings from him, for anything, and definitely not her. He is like ... playing

with some dark dots though... LOL He hasnt learned yet that he cannot tell Woo Ju to sit somewhere quietly for a long time LOL that same story keeps repeating.... when will he learn? BUT he is already a pretty decent caretaker and getting to be a competent dad
