I get it now. I am seeing Hollywood watchers comments. Saying that ep 6 7 8 whatever it was had too much side plots etc etc etc.

So FYI this is a very cute and very classic old school kdrama rom com, This is not a hollywood movie :) People in a kdrama have FEELINGS AND THOUGHTS AND CONSIDERATE ETTIQUETTE. Both ML and FL are not perfect ppl and so their romance starts a little flawed as they are total strangers too, but they slooowly get to know each other as they start to communicate openly.

THEY ARE CUTE! they are such a good pair and so cute like a pair of nesting birds. I really understand the family concept now :) This is such a lovely pair of love birds :)
I sometimes wish that FL actress acted better, that FL was smarter, that both of them were more mature, that there is no old time family prohibiting them, etc - but ... heck... overall.... this is one o those POSITIVE dramas and I am really enjoying the general overall vibe of warmth, love, erros, friendship, and good communication of a nesting pair. This is a REAL couple that will stay together for life. They are cute!!!!

So this drama makes perfect sense, it is actually super cute and very lovely. Minus the alcohol. I am glad there is no more overdong drinking.

SML actor is a fabulous actor, I am so glad to see that! After being 1-dimensional villain in one of those school violence dramas, I am SO GLAD to see he CAN act and very well!!!! Good job!!! Yeah SML is just lost and confused extra trying to barge in, sure he is clueless, but ... dont you know too many ppl like that.... ? I do :)

Bisching about love triangles is getting tired to me bc ... real life has million people chasing after someone attractive and popular So - live with it. It is a part of life.

I find this drama super cute in so many ways, and I am glad to see it, the messages here are pretty decent, things move fast, ML FL have misunderstandings and disagreemetns but THEY TALK ABOUT IT and it gets resolved within 1-2 episodes. For example, the issue of 2ML is already out in the trash, done. Gone :) 2 episodes for a biggie like that.

So I AM HAVING FUN WATCHING THIS, it is a cute love story of two imperfect ppl who solve things by honestly communicating.
And the side couple is like that too :)

Can this love be translated is TOTAL trash. 1st ep starts bad, then for about 3 episodes it looks like as if it might work, and then it gets into TOTAL DELULU halucinacions and pills and nightmares, and I say - that's for like chronic pot smokers to watch. It is TRASH

The key point is, the audience should say it is not ok to cheat and lie. The key point is, her 2 friends should have said that too. And she should have said that to herself. She said "oh darn mistake!" and moved on, lying that it never happened.

yeah. That's why I vote to keep Seo RIm alive until the end :) Without her, this show becomes ... soooo dull..... boring.

So ppl were bisching that nothing was happening, now that Seo Rim is too smart and won't last long, etc etc. I bet she can last till the end of the drama, just like Queen's House smart FL lasted till the end of the drama. There are only 58 eps left and we saw 42... it is one half....
Seo Rim cannot do the revenge alone, it is too big of a job, plus she will probably want to include her twin. Why would they swap.... ? bc.....??? Bc Seo Rim can travel all over the globe looking for the father?

Anyways, JM will have to get wiser - and she already is, in ep 42 she is showing signs of intelligence!!!! but it will take some time.
Also, JM has to work to pay rent - will she work at Dream Hotel as Seo Rim... ??? meanwhile... Seo Rim will ..... ?

I disagree. Seo Rim is needed to stay till the end. The job is waaaay too big for just her alone.

She is Old Geezer Chairman's eyes and ears, the Chairman keeps the CEO Chae under control with that Mrs Yeom...

As for ML/FL being role models, yeah, some dramas do not have shiny characters up front, but ML/FL model some behaviors for us and we are likely to copycat it...

So what? How many millions joined Hitler, does that make them good ppl? Majority doesnt mean somethiing is right :) it means that thousands of ppl can be toxic and confused LOL esp on MDL, which is known for ratings that do not make sense...

What do you mean DK did not promote? EVERYTHING IN ANY DRAMA IS WHAT YOU PROMOTE - as either bad or good, there is nothing neutral... ML and FL esp are a promotion of values

you mean the scene with Seo Rim in red dress right after she saw the twins, she is in Chef's office and comes to his table to talk to him, and he calls Lee over the phone to come get her, and she says she is leaving and she leaves without even attempting to kiss his as# - and she even scolds him for dissing her - and he is ... speechless LOL He got used to her attention and when she didnt give it, he was like - but that is mine, gimmeme! So if he ever meets Jae In, as Seo Rim or not, he is going to approach her expecting attention.... and if it is Jae In, she already has genuine appreciation for his talent - which Seo Rim did not - she just saw a cute guy - so Chef is gonna be super flattered, and also Jae In is a lot tamer than Seo Rim and WILL let him diss her around and control her - in other words, Jae In will stay on her best behavior bc it is her Chef - which will make it much more easy for him to fall in love - but ... only Baek Ho saw the real Jae In :) so she is his woman :)

Jae In is a great pair for Baek Ho bc she is not afraid to be her real self with him

Ah I would love to hear your opinion on DK bc I think that drama is totally evil, promoting "overbearing rich CEO doing sexual harassment to a weak loser employee woman". _Oppa has a great review on that drama, where he shreds the ML :) so that is why I respect his opinion and will not say that he is 100% biased with sexism.

I agree with _oppa, every ML/FL is put out there as a role model in some ways, otherwise there is no use of making them ML/FL...
