I disagree for several reasons:
1. dragging this plot all the way past ep 44 is just bad script. Sure you can have plot like this but RESOLVE IT so that it is not dragged out to the last minute of the last episode just bc you dont know how to write a good script!!!!!!
In ep 44 . NOTHING was resolved yet except Uncle and Aunt but even their case was not truly resolved.... The dumb flakeu aunt totally believes in the bs and even the Uncle too.... Luckily someone "above them" had the guts to say ok, go ahead.... But if they had not... Uncle and Aunt would be suffering their entire lives. In ep 44, FL/ML are still holding "we can't be together bc of our elders" and ALL older adults are staunch about "we can't"
"We can't" - why? bc of how socially we look to others if we are multiple in-laws? Excuse me, does it make any sense... ? to be fair, i watched a few more eps. So the drama is ok after all, things ARE moving forward, just at a snail speed, but at least... Uncle got married, etc
ML-FL are still stuck in obeying their families but the drama made it obvious how they are actually rebelling, the same with the youngest, and both couples are heavily flirting and aware of their feelings. Paco Nacho finally behaves and looks like a live human being, not a robot set on the mode "always kissing as@ of FL" - so now he is more lively and alive, and 100000 times more charming.
BUT THEIR DUMB FAMILIES are still in hatred mode. SR is just a stupid idiot, why does she have to hate the other family so much, still??? same with Grandma and FL's mom and dad.....
There is only 6 more episodes but I think the couples' part is doable in 6 eps. However, this Councilman thing was just added, so CAN the drama resolve all characters, and get rid of Councilman, in 6 eps... ?? looks like a too big a bite...

Daily Our Happy Days is a perfect family drama, with the plot that moves forward, with amazing meaningful dialogues, complex characters and amazing acting, and a smart and capable FL, so my desire to watch a quality family drama is satisfied.

So someone here said there is enough other plot so I came back here to watch starting from ep 34... well that was a LIE.
I wanted to check it out and also to watch Uncle, bc that is a master actor and I really want to see all his acting tricks :) but I am wondering if it is worth it... I might have to fast forward just to his scenes... bc .. the rest... is so trashy
and OMG WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! this drama has turned into a sh.t show entirely dedicated to both families hating each other. 97% of the plot is about that - hate, and these meek and weak "women" just breaking up bc someone told them to. By mistake I started watching ep 38 instead of 35 and that was still the plot.
***** Common ep38 is still full blown hate between the families... ??? The drama is almost ending. ******* WHEN will the issues get resolved when the script didnt even begin resolving it? ********
All characters are super toxic pathetic, there is nobody smart - except Uncle and maybe Huyn Bin. So soapy and stupid. I think I am dropping this drama. Sorry even watching the Uncle was not enough. His scenes are all related to hate of Yang family and his stupid snowflake gfriend. Cant watch that. BYE.
Daily Our Happy Days is a perfect family drama, with the plot that moves forward, with amazing meaningful dialogues, complex characters and amazing acting, and a smart and capable FL, so my desire to watch a quality family drama is satisfied.
This drama started masterfully and then went downhill. IT IS TRASHY SCRIPT TO keep the plot going ENTIRELY on the hate as the main theme until at least ep 40 and seems like even longer, based on comments here
That means that the entire plot is based on stupidities.
**** There has to be struggle to OVERCOME. Uncle struggled. The others didnt. His girl is totally pathetically weak and bails out as soon as wind blows. What is the point of having such partner???? FL is just laying in the gutter, where she jumped and stayed VOLUNTARILY out of greed, to keep the favors of her family. For a young person to be that stupid.... is unbelievable.... The youngest daughter of the ML family is so selfish and greedy and does whatever is most comfortable for her too....
Grandma and FL's mom are such greedy hateful monsters... FL's mom at least spoke up for Uncle but for her daughter???? Grandma is 100% hater. Seems like she kinda pretended to overcome it for Uncle to get married - did he??? - I jsut saw the families gathering that went totally wrong bc of hatred -
and ML's stepmom is a spoiled diva brat, so nasty, retaliative, so MEAN aggressive to others and even to her own family under the disguise of "care"
The bathroom scene of 3 women fighting and then table scene of her storming out shows that ML's stepmom is a MANIPULATIVE MONSTER, super extra immature insecure and nasty
Basically all women in the drama are either spineless idiots or hateful manipulative monsters. There is not even one who is likeable and/or a STRONG, SMART person.
The men are shown in an interesting way bc they are mostly .... incompetent.
Overall this is like a very toxic pile of very ordinary people doing toxic ordinary stupid things. OK THIS IS HOW THE DRAMA STARTS. But if the entire drama is that, than this story is UNworthy of a drama! Why waste a drama on something we see every day in real life??? Only a story that shows how it was overcome is worthy of a drama.
And this drama is almost ending and nothing even started getting resolved.
So the script writer really has no idea what to write about. The script writer has no idea how to overcome. The script writer has lots of experiences with toxic ordinary families doing stupid things, but not with HOW to overcome it. And so this trash script is gonna kill this drama and all the skilled actors are just wasted.
If someone cannot see somethinig and is unwilling to see it. then there is nothing to talk about so I just quit their posts
