he is a jerk mostly at the moment bc he hates his brother, but he already switched, the baby won him over. Blowing the bubbles for the baby is NOT something he *had* to do.

The comedic effect of him not babysitting properly are hilarious and meant as a comedic show of how much he improves by the end of EPISODE 2

Also, that actor is sooooo amazing, I love watching him.

Nah, cdramas are so crude, the plot and acting is sooo simple and ther is so much hype, it can never compare to kdramas SOPHISTICATION

Oh nitpicking. How about the credits scroll, that is specific to every drama/movie and you never vote on that.
The bottom line is that the drama is the part where you have the actors acting. Everything else is just paperwork.

The intro is NOT a part of the drama itself, it is just a little fun video to advertise the drama and give you time to settle yourself before starting to watch the drama.
and yeah it provides a living to the video author

I have seen the polygamy in real life, and I really do not feel like wasting time watching it again on screen, regardless how great the actors are :) I am gonna watch something else that is interestesing and has great actors :)
That is what I concluded for myself :) I just crossed off the whole topic of polygamy as .... trash :) It EXISTS out there big time and is total evil ignorant trash :) I want to be totally away and out of it, in every way :)
I have never been in a polygamous relationship, but I was too close to that world and saw what they do, and they horrified me forever :) Polygamy is one of the most evil concoctions of humanoids

Yeah as you said, the relationship between characters is what it makes it interesting, and to have that, the script has to let us "meet" each person so we get to know them. and has to show DEVELOPMENT of each character
and this script writer just didnt have much of it. We got to hear a lot how the Fox is thinking and that was so cool at the start, but then she never really progressed so she got stale with her ignorant comments ... nuff already 8 episodes.. .... ; and we never got to "meet" the ML for real, we really do not know him. He got a little more interesting in ep 8 but otherwise he is quite ... flat.

When I think about it... it is the matter of script. It has to show just the right moments that will conjure exactly what that person is like. Movies are champions of that bc they gotta squeeze all of it in 1.5 hrs. I am thinking kmovie Familyhood, about an arrogant actress who adopts a pregnant teenager to boost her rating. In literally one scene, in literally 1-2 minutes when she refuses to go to a school thing for the kid, her entire character was exposed as utmostly selfish

I got my mom interested in this :) She loooooves the baby. That kid is just a gem

ML actor is also so energetic and bubbly, he is so much fun to watch. ML role will be amazing soon, when he makes a u-turn and becomes considerate - and thus a great great dad. Watching him blow bubbles is a great start!!!! Omg he is going to be a great dad, he cleans, cooks, etc

And FL seems to be getting there too. I love how she already fights for the kid, it is really fun to watch her transformation into a lively vibrant person

So overall this is one super lovely drama, I love it!!!!!

exactly. There seems to be some grouches here who just dislike the drama. So just drop it. Imo the drama is great and the cast is great too

The emotional connection happens very visibly when she smiles. THEN he really notices her and gets smitten.
There are tiny moments like that, e.g. when she showers him, etc.
When she is gnarling, he is defensive.
They have a good working relationship to solve things, and take care of each other. He pays attention to her and follows her around, you can say he is her lap dog, but since she is so scary, he is scared too. But when she becomes nice and smiles, ... he likes her a lot.

So I think this drama made a huge mistake to drag her gnarly fox phase this long. They should have started showing her meltdown in small bits a lot sooner, that would also be a lot more comedic.
The way her script is written is too simple, she is STILL clueless ignorant arrogant, and then his script is too simple too bc he has nothing to respond to. When she gnarls, he can only recoil.

The potential for most fun in this drama is Fox discovering herself changing and acting in ways that are confused, different, etc and ML responding to that. The script writer just was not creative enough with showing that. I am not a script writer LOL so I cannot provide ideas except - watch Haunted Palace LOL I can only see the finished product and provide feedback.

IF she was "nice" a lot more often, then it would be a lot more comedic, the play between them would be more hilarious and also a lot more deep, and would give him a chance to act more and more interesting stuff, it would be a lot more COMPLEX, and he could nail her down to admit she is having fun, also it would be fun to see him being caught in it, and it would be fun to see her discover her emotions and react to them etc.

Whoever wrote the script wasnt skilled enough to think of a more diverse plot.

I think this was well done in Haunted House, the Imugi in human body melted in a lot more fun ways and fast enough to make some amazing scenes with his partner female shaman. They also had a lot deeper "business partnership" and took care of each other in many different ways in their "real life" and "work life" as a "shaman couple" plus they had some hilarious romantic scenes, together and individually

That could have happened here too, but the script writer just wasnt that creative

So now we have only 4 episodes to wrap everuthing and it is just not enough.
The speed at which drama is going is meant for like 20 episode drama :)

He is kissing her today but that is so ... out of blue, we never saw how his emotions developed to that point. RIght now he looks like a healthy guy who is not wasting any time on his romantic impulses that started literally YESTERDAY.

It would have been soooo much more fun if we had watched both of them simmering and figuring out their emotions for much longer

Next time.
Both actors are pretty good so I hope next tome they nail the script writer to improve the script and MAKE IT MORE COMPLEX :)
