SO THE BASIC PLOT IS THAT FL WAS BEST FRIEND OF VERY RICH CHAEBOL GIRL CHOI HEE SU, her dad is the Chairman, owns company Mono.
Seems like FL was there when Fiance and his pppl put fire and bomb into Chairman's house and somehow FL escaped but ended up in a coma...
AND SO THIS FAKE FIANCE WAITED FOR FL TO WAKE UP FROM COMA AND THEN HE GASLIGHTED HER THAT HE IS HER FIANCE, ETC

So fiance is a scammer/gangster of some kind, he was hypnotizing FL with the metronome to convince her that he is her fiance... and he gives her medication to make sure she is drugged out; and he hangs out witih the purple head. Purple head is a part of a thug circle, they do blackmailing, etc.

What else... ? Ah yeah the FakeFiance killed FL's best friend Choe Hee Su and her Chairman dad, and then FakeFiance took the dad's company Mono ... and is now posing as an architect....
And so now... FakeFiance is keeping FL close to him.. Why does he want her - is probably to make sure she stays silent. He is already planning to take her abroad and kill her, seems like, wants to take her abroad on a fake passport.

The fiance is very dangerous. How he caught the doctor is scary creepy. The Fiance is clearly a seasoned murderer and criminal and involved in that band of thgs.

So fiance asked that female thug to keep a close watch on FL, but ... the female thug is friends with the bold guy and they plan to kidnap FL and ask Fiance for ransom. Bold guy is the man of PurpleHair, but ... seems like Fiance is customer, boss, or sugar daddy of PurpleHair

Ep 3: FakeFiance was actually the paid gigolo living in that house - owned by Chairman - with Choi Hee Su :) She used him. He cheated on her with FL :)

Ep 4 preview: FL killed 2 ppl to revenge her parents :) and FakeFiance killed her parents :)

I like this drama a lot. The trap is amazing, and her figuring it out is amazing too. The story keeps unravelling as she remembers more and more :)
The cues are so awesome. FOR EVERYONE WHO IS CONFUSED ABOUT THE PLOT, SEE THE SPOILER BELOW.
The fiance's hairstyle and clothes are a hint - esp the "little collar" old fashioned shirt - it really makes him look like an old time rich gangster :)

I disagree. BH is not protected by any means... HY is already moving to kill the Chairman and as soon as marriage is in, she will be killing JM, her family, SR, etc etc etc BH too...

Do you know the Buddhist story of Saint Milarepa? He killed someone to protect his family. Then.. he had to ... go through a huge suffering and work to redeem himself. Then he became like a hot-star most popular saint :) Only Milarepa walked on Mt. Kaliash where Hindu God Shiva lives with his wife Parvati and humans must NOT go there...

So... Jang Mi is gonna have to walk the walk of Milarepa to get back on track... She will have to walk and talk the talk to somehow pull the swords out of people and make their wounds heal and confirm that she will NEVER EVER do stuff like that again.

Tok-hee sounds like the Korean word for bunny. I saw it in another drama. That's why SH has 2 bunnies

I vote for this :) JM created too much doodoo and cannot get out of that sparkley clean. She gotta pay to play again.

the kind of person that persecutor is NEVER does anything unless it is for their personal benefit... So once in a blue moon, they WILL be doing good things ... but it is ... a rare situation and only because he needs it for his personal gain

Profiling Jun Ho: JH had signs of the evil side, as well as signs of decency, need and appreciation of warmth. He is a complex, immature character with a heavy past and evil bio-genes... so ... this is a great role for a very seasoned actor. This is a very very rich role!!! Lots of stuff to dig through!!!! it is unfortunate the actor is meh.

First we see JH's competitive side - he came to THAT hotel bc it was totaly in shambles and he wanted to totally make it great. Cool.
We also saw his prickly mean nature - his quarrels with HY and his putting down and belitling SR. JH was so mean to SR.

JH was in love with SR way back when. There was one time she left his office without kissing his as@, he was belitling her and she was in a hurry and she just left!!!!! and he missed her.

He got used to SR and her doting on him, but bc he is a mean isolated grumpy loner, he took SR for granted and used every chance to put her down - although he secretly (and unconsciously) he enjoyed her attention . So he showed he is a mean cold person.

So when the attention was withdrawn aka JM stepped in - JH missed it and came back to get it :) THAT IS WHY HE WAS ABLE TO OPENLY FALL IN LOVE WHEN HE SAW HER WITH A DOG, A CHILD, ETC.... BC SR ALREADY MADE HIM FALL FOR HER LOVE AND ATTENTION. ANd he realized he wanted it.

And that's where we saw his need for love and affection, and his soft side
We saw his sensitivity and cuddly nature when he enjoyed SR playing violin.
And when bio mom showed up, we saw how much he missed love and affection.
Also we saw his decency to reject a criminal mother and say that his mother is LawyerMom.

Then we saw him apply different standards to others and to himself, WE SAW HIS EVIL SIDE - he grabbed for JM although she said "the f.ck NO NO NO!!!! I love your brother!!!!!! " but JunkHo said "heck YES BC I SAID SO! AND F.CK MY BROTHER, I AM TAKING HIS CHICK". That is 100% evil .

So now we see him groweling while JM abuses him, we see him wriggling in pain seeing that she is rude crude and STILL he i trying to kiss her as@ to love him.

Clearly, JH is immature and has very deep wounds from being an orphan
He does not think much of his adoptive family, they are like superficial joke to him,
he does not believe that love is necessary for marriage ...
JH IS SUPER CONFUSED

yeah Lawyer Wife wants to keep Professor at home still... ! and appologize to her and treat her well... oh keep on dreaming...

and yeah it is well observed, JM is skirting the issue that she has baited JH to ditch his own brother - JM told JH to go ahead and seduce her and she WILL TRY TO LOVE HIM - that is a big fat lie and he ate all of it.

JH had signs of the evil side as well as signs of decency and need and appreciation of warmth. I will now write a separate post about that.

Hm this is slander. In fact, I watched all those scenes that you mentioned in this conversation. I watched all scenes that were not bloody gory.
You provided more info than I asked for so I thank you for your time. I just needed to clarify if that online recap was correct or not, and why red eyes.

PPl made their own conclusions about red eyes lol I thought he turned into a demon and it was start of Season 2.

But nobody knows WHY that kid reactivated - what is his story. Ppl just guess.
And we only guessed about red eyes.

Justifying JM is why the drama ppl decided to extend - and they are playing on murky confusions in the audience - what is protection, what is loyalty, can JM do what she did, etc.

Stick to the code of ethics no matter what :) There is always enough plots to be created anyways LMAO

Like this marriage thing - it is ok to talk about it, to actually plan the marriage, etc BUT TO HAVE JM BACKSTAB IN ep 86!!!! AND KEEP IT FOR 1 WEEK ALREADY AS "GOOD" - is ... advertising for evil.

We all falter and fail and watch zillions of people fatler and fail and zillions of evil actions all over the place - SO WHY SPEND HOURS AND HOURS WATCHING THAT AGAIN ON THE SCREEN????? that is suicidal.
The screen is supposed to show us some ideas as to why ppl falter and fail, and how to get up and heal from that. We want to see stories which somehow enhance our life. Yeah, some ppl think that means: turn off the brain and watch some fantasy - but ... let the dead be dead :) A healthy person will want to watch something USEFUL. In watching a story of another, we can see ourselves and other ppl we know, we can learn lessons that we do not have to then learn in person... and we can get creative ideas and we can get inspired to live our life in better ways. That is the purpose of real art. To WAKE UP something alive in us.

The drama has to know where to draw the line with the leads...
The leads CAN and MAY and SHOULD falter and fall, BUT the drama has to show how they learn, how they fall less and less and how they eventually got up and walked.
If a character never learns, then they are unsuitable to be the lead character.

So having JM as the lead character and then turning JM into a villain in ep 86 while there are zillion unresolved subplots... is... CHEESY CHEAP SCRIPT

Yeah that kid is somehow OFF THE RAILS there is something super wrong about him. All the kids who helped the evil had some major problems and evil streaks
and some looked so cute ... those girls with long hair, so pretty like dolls... but ... killers
The discord kid definitely looked weird and behaved weird

he read the manual - but it could be bs or not - but he knew for sure that HJ died from the app. THAT MEANS THAT KID IS OFF THE RAILS SOMEHOW

The drama has some very deep messages that most of the audience might miss while watching the glitz special effects :)

Oh that makes sense. Theater actors have to make BIG AND OBVIOUS facial expressions and gestures so that you can see it from the last rown on 4rd level balcony :) That's why theater actors get wrinkles :) seriously

Yeah ML actor is very handsome!!! he looks like a real man, not a porcelain doll. To me, that makes him handsome - he looks REAL. He looks like someone in shape, with inner and outer life, with personality, someone who can relate, all ALIVE and VIBRANT, he moves, he emotes. He looks like a healthy human being, like a UNIQUE expression of the Divine.
And yeah he looks like a very handsome MAN. A man is supposed to have muscles, to be strong, and to have a face that is clearly a man.

Porcelain doll actors imo are very androgenous... men and women all look alike and you cannot tell who is who... It is even creepier to see men who look like anorexic teenage girls... They are all super skinny and "pretty" in their face just like dolls are, and it creeps me out to see supposedly a live human being who looks - and behaves!!!! - like a doll. Very stationary, one face all the time, very lifeless..... Those actors are like photographs, not live people. IT IS CREEPY. THEY ALL LOOK ALIKE. I saw photos of 2 of them next to each other and it looks like the same person. CREEPY!!!! They are also super skinny and lack any energy and looks so lifeless. CREEPY!!!! and female actors like that look awful when their knees are like globs on a stick under a mini skirt. It is CREEPY!!!!! the triangular faces that look like aliens... CREEPY!!!!
