I think the writer messed up and lollygagged too much and then did not know how to fix it, so ... added this morbid script in ep 87!!!!! and now needs time to clean up the mess they created.
They could have had 140 episodes EVEN if they didnt introduce this morbid marrige chaos. There is so much stuff to unpack still even without it.
But the writer is unskilled

I agree until the last paragraph. It is true that BH was in hospital when JM made that mess - but still - I would add to that last paragraph: INSTEAD OF DISCUSSING WITH OTHERS WHAT TO DO NEXT, INSTEAD OF TELLING THE CHAIRMAN ABOUT ... JH-HY, SR-JM-SH, Professor-HY.... ,

INSTEAD OF WORKING CONSTRUCTIVELY,
JM CHOSE THE MORE CONVENIENT WAY
AND DESTRUCTIVELY DUMPED BH AND SACRIFICED/ DESTROYED BH, JH, SR, and herself

JM on her own came with a stupidly destructive ineffective plan to protect her ppl - but the plan was faulty 100%.
**** The fact is, marrying JH provides no protection ******

HY DOES NOT KEEP PROMISES AND MAKING THAT DEAL TO MARRY TO PROTECT IS A MAJOR STUPIDITY.

It is incredible that the online recap TOTALLY MADE UP the drama content and wrote that all 5 kids lived!!!!! The moral of the story is - dont trust recaps blindly... watch for yourself or read from a very trusted source.

One user on Reddit said that shaman's eyes turned red bc he now possesses the white snake power. I checked with other users, they all think this is bc he can see the Unseen now. This is something that ppl just concluded on their own. There is nowhere in the drama where you can see the snake's eyes,

Imo the Discord kid has some connection to Evil somehow, more than just being curious. He was earlier talking about taking pills and giving his pills to HJ. There is something wrong with him. He is possessed or something...

That is a good question!!!!! I researched and researched... One post on Reddit said that his eyes are now like snake's eyes or he has embodies that entity ... but... other ppl said snake eyes were never shown... maybe he just embodies the entity? and yes he can see invisible stuff after his eye was injured
IN ANY CASE, IT IS NOT DEMONIC POSSESSION but a good thing :) and it is hard to tell what is what - if you see someone with such eyes... better run :)

FYI the mastery of this ML actor made me think how RARE he is in this day and age of pretty porcelain idols, who all look alike - skinny body, triangular alien face (i.e. plastic surgery?), gazed gloomy serious look all the time. IN SHORT - REPLACEABLE PAWNS

and then I read that Chinese actors get their face plastered on AI-generated drama... China eliminated art degrees at universities bc of AI.. China plans to lead in AI by 2030... Chinese actors are losing jobs.. Chinese short verticals industry is now losing to AI-generated dramas...

all those porcelain idols are gonna be replaced by AI generated,

so what is left is AI-generated porcelain idols AND the skilled real actors like the ML here.

So as long as we the audience appreciate real art, this kind of real, skilled actor has a job.

It is becoming more and more rare, as stupid bs like Pursuit of Jade and Perfect Crown - stupid script, fake acting, no character growth, no messages - stupid fluffy stuff like that has almost 50,000 viewers on MDL

When I realized that the ML actor is a master actor, I went to check out his resume on MDL and decided to watch all his shows - except Squid Game :) that is too violent. But I watched some clips and read reviews, esp recommended byrei.ink so I understand why it is a masterpiece "molotov coctail exposing capitalist exploitation and competition".

I also found jdrama Alice in Borderland that seems to be the precusor to Squid Games. Both are violent :( so I will not watch all episodes.

The Price of Confession was on my radar already. It is too violent too so I was postponing it :)

Scarecrow is within the limits of my willingness to watch gory :)

The Price of Confession was already on my radar bc it is My Mister writer - and My Mister is one of my fav dramas ever - what a masterpiece!!! - and now there is All of Us are Trying (I loooooved ep 1, and then ep 2 was meh so I wlll keep going to find out more).

So I saw this actor's resume and plan to watch it all except squid game, that is too violent, but I read the recaps and watched some parts and understand why it is "a molotov coctail exposing the capitalist machinery of exploitation and competition". See review byrei.ink she also wrote a top review for Squid Games season 1.

I also found Alice in Borderland, the precursor jdrama. Some ppl think AIB is better than Squid Games. I might research that too. Both are too violent and explicit so I dont guarantee a thorough research i.e. watching all episodes :)

Like here.. JM's "revenge" is super petty school bullying stuff, just total trash by a woman-child
for example, "watching HY suffer" as JH lugs around SR's stuf and dotes on her, so HY feels worried that JH is wrapped around SR's finger. THIS IS THE KIND OF STUFF THAT A MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRL WOULD DO TO HURT ANOTHER GIRL - and JM calls it "revenge" and "tormenting HY".

It is 100% illogical and stupidly dumb. JM is a woman-child.

JM as such a dumb immature - actually mentally disabled - character just cannot be the lead of the drama. JM's stupidity and sheer dumbness are dragging the drama down and under
