Episode 16 and I finally remembered what it is about this show that struck me…. It’s a damn good show on its own… But those eps with Zhou Yi Wei are extraordinary: THIS is what the show is supposed to be about, And THIS is the power of the promise of TAESOP. When ZYW is on screen solid performances by excellent actors like Shawn Dou pale in comparison. So wild. This man is incredible.
Halfway thru 15: Guess I’ll be crying for the balance of the show.
It’s perhaps too early to celebrate but screw it, I’ll just say it. This is the best KDrama of all time. My Feel-ometer is pegged all the way on redline. Show is that good,
I feel like this is one of the best xianxia I have ever seen. I’m furious that the production was managed so badly and they bungled the ending. I would like to see the end eps redone and extended. Or otherwise have the whole thing redone. This one had so much potential. I’m rewatching for only the second time in the hopes that I can pinpoint when things started to go wrong.
