Du's storyline is little compared to Shen's. Just looking at the character chart, Shen Yurong has the most people connected around him. I bet you'll find 4th sister's story more complicated later hahaha.
Well as of now, they have established a) contract marriage (lol, the bargaining scene at the pond, 1 year) b) they're gonna investigate and solve cases together so maybe detective/prosecutor relationship but mix in wife/husband.
