i think it's based on star power... WXY has been doing so many projects lately as main lead so he would obviously get the main leading role. almost same for LYX who's last main role was as second lead to Esther for MJTY. But they other lead girls have main roles already in their acting records, on smaller budget shows though. Maybe many actors have auditioned as well, but these 5 girls fit the part.
