love of panacea had a better ending. they got married had a kid. she was already sick long before. but this one, that ending you wouldnt see it coming. but the script and acting was better here. love of panacea was unbearable to watch for me, it was too cheesy. lol. i just peeked at the ending and compared to ABL, that one was more reasonable.

but they shouldnt have gone that route. this is not like bright eyes in the dark where the ML works a dangerous job. the acting was good, the plot went down by the last episode. if you say this is shedding light upon mental illness, then you’re like saying it’s ok to have bad endings for those who are mentally ill. he was getting better, then boom she had to lie. and he died on that lie. they didnt even have a proper goodbye. he was sick, then she became sick. i really just blame whoever wrote that last 2 episodes. it was bad. like a demented psychological horror movie masking as a fluffy romance. it was dark. should have been an episode of black mirror imo.
i really admire Huan’er’s parents . her mom. doesnt pressure her. her dad is not always home but when he’s back you can see her relationship is really good. she is so happy when she is back and they are pretty much a healthy family.
