I haven't read the manga or watched this yet, I usually prefer the roles being switched where the teacher is female rather than what it is over here. However, it is what it is, I just wanted to know if the TV drama follows the manga and if so, does it adapt all of it?
The search engine itself just sucks, it feels like they only employ one person to look after the entirety of Disney Plus.
Oh yeah, the "Coming Soon" only ever appearing when it wants to is rather infuriating and I don't understand why they can't just leave it as a permanent fixture or give it a tab or collection page.
This list is a legit godsend, they do have a section now on Disney plus called "Made in Korea", you can find it as one of the "collections" when you try to search on the app.
I wish they would make a "Made in Japan" one but if they did they'll probably add all the anime they're got on the service, which isn't much to be honest.
But yeah, Disney Plus interface is still as pants as ever, I don't know why they're aren't bothered to change it besides changing the colour of the app. Netflix is still miles ahead.
Legit surprised to see him in so many dramas all at once but nice to see it. Goong is a classic and I really loved Lucifier aka The Devil that he was in.
Oh didn’t know he was at jail good to see him back
He wasn't in jail, he got a suspended sentence back in 2009, so basically he had to be at his best behaviour otherwise they would have put him into jail. After his time in court, he went and did his military service.
This is a classic in the vain of Hama Kimi and Hana Yori Dango, a hilarious rom-com. The 7.8 rating makes no sense for it considering how popular it was globally.
I love her. I thought she was in her mid-40s the very least but wow, 54??
It would be kinda funny to see her in a Noona romance, she kinda technically was in Hyena, which I didn't even get through the first episode, probably should give it another try. I just wonder what kind of Noona romance they could pull off with her as the FL, I want to see it before she forced into playing the "mother" or "evil stepmom" roles.
It's been a while but I still check out this list from time to time, I wish there was a way to re-order it show when it was released or when it came to Disney Plus.
Tanabata no Kuni (aka Land of Tanabata) is on Dsiney Plus UK and the K-Drama, Unmasked, is coming to the UK version of the platform on 15th Jan 2025.
I believe, the day Gannibal 2nd season is coming out is 19th March 2025.
What happened? She's been gone for four years now without any work whatsoever. I wonder what's going on, as I…
Not sure but she signed with 3 different agencies between 2019 to 2023. Her "comeback" to the silver screen (this is an assumption on my part on it being a comeback) was Artificial City in 2021 with agency called Huagyi Brothers and she was there from 2019 to 2022. After that she joined Ghost Studio (it was a brand new agency at the time) in November 2022 and then joined another agency, Makestar, in August 2023.
From the pictures you see on google, she is a very beautiful actress and even though she's now 45 years old, I reckon she could still do a main lead role because she looks young in my opinion. However, the mutliple changes of agency has unfortunately not be good to her career as she's probably angered a few within the industry and possibly getting blacklisted and now that she's older, it's probably way more difficult to get a main lead role regardless of how talented she is.
I'm really liking the show, only watched up to episode 3, the first episode was somewhat cringe-inducing because it was the activities of a slightly above-average K-pop stan (I know there are extremes that exist) and the second-hand embarrassment was getting to me but after that the second episodes onwards have just been laughter.
The ML is like a young Park Seo Jun and the FL feels like she's an elderly actress as if her soul is of an old lady but she can be silly an immature.
Watching the first episode and my god is this an embodiment of a K-pop stan, probably not one of the more extreme version though. This is a K-pop stan's wet dream.
I think the "ambiguous" ending is more to do it with it being a deliberate cliffhanger to hint at a possible second…
I'd love to ask what the fustration was about but I think I had a different viewing experience than you as I essentially binged it all in 2 days, so the answers to my questions were answered pretty quickly as I watched them.
They love the use of the flashbacks for sure to reiterate points of "I will save you"/"I will protect you". Their feelings of comradery kept them making dangerous decisions....very shounen-esque choices lol. He did it to save Amano and in the hopes of making her a goddess again at the risk of potentially condemning all the gods in the world to Yomi.
The Hiruko revelation was very ping-pong and probably deliberate to hide the true identity of the villain of this season.

I assume she doesn't and it will probably follow the story of the movie just more fleshed out.

Regardless I'm looking forward to this, hope it comes soon.
